its not a bug, its the way operamini was intentionally designed. how do you think operamini is able to achieve its amazing data saving rates? the browser doesnt load contents from your server directly, it routes its requests through opera's dedicated proxy server, the proxy loads the response, after which it performs some novel page compression, scripts downgrading, content reincarnation. the response is what you see on your phone. the rules of script downgrade include replacing ajax's "async" with something less useful. this is done to prevent ajax galleries, background services and dynamic DOM mutilation - all of these which would be useless since the proxy usually already alters content so much so that document appears very different in browser.

Just finished the code construction phase of Web app for a services my company is about to launch. I used Ajax extensively for major functionality of this app. Testing the app now on mobile it horrible. The key press event I used to disable alpha characters still working on chrome, worst of it all.. Is opera mini. It doesn't even load the Ajax at all.. I switched away from data saving still same..

Thanks for showing concern, I now see it has a blessing. I code everytime and learn while coding. Now it I learn and then code. My time In the house will be about me studying.. Since there won't be whatsapp messages and all. I can read as much pages of book and test my code.. At work I work. At home I study. It even a plan tailored for me by God to make me better

You got no problem bro, it can never happen there's no all Nigeria network not available but I'm thinking you're using glo, it's so worst here. Get mtn most preferred or other one and also you can try Smile, Spectranet 4g too

I am using a dual Sim phone. I use almost all the network Mtn, Airtel and Etisalat . The signal is always low. I think the problem is the tall old building at the back of the house probably blocking reception from the mast or the roof material in the house. Don't Want to waste money in getting a router and it end up not working too. Can't make calls when I am in the house.. Just so confused bro

And it an hindrance to my work, has I am more convenient working in my home. So I decided to rent an apartment closer to my work place. I work at bodija. I rented a room at agbowo u.i. Now I am about to move in, so went there today to take some stuffs I bought there. To my shock, the house have extremely bad network reception. Asin very extreme. No network whenever I enter my room. And you and I know how important Internet is to my work. Please advise me what can I do. I am confused Hi house,

Here I am, just moved up the ladder from an amateur developer to intermediate. My aim as always been to be attributed to something. The crave for learning died when i start working as a php developer in a reputable company at Ib. Picking libraries, testing new libraries, trying to clone a function all stop. Until when i was trying to create a notification system and i was looking all around for libraries. Couldnt get one without websocket, and we all know things with start asking for hosting service that support websocket and all. So i hand coded the notification system using short pooling method. Then i ask myself, why cant we in this country start building things for other developers too to start using. Everytime i use stackoverflow most anwsers are from white. We dont wanna think here anylonger. You have a problem, do the stackoverflow thing, copy step and gbam you do it. Aniways, long story short. What i want is a telegram group of php/js programmer others are welcome too that algorithmically good. Who together we implements algorithms and make libraries out of it for people to use. We build together, we help when any is stranded on a project. We learn and read togethe for betterment of programming here in Africa. I have a php result processing... That automate from registering of courses to accepting by courses advuser then sent to lecturers automatically.. Lecturers enter score send bck to admin.. Admin generate gpa/cgpa as case maybe. Then each student can go check there result... If u ned it.. U can hi me. Na free juzt ensure u change all the yabatech logo on it

Great programmers of our honorable country. My greetings to everyone. I am rubyist, I a young programmer. I am in need of everyones help.
I started with C, and I am quite versed at it, it makes me understand nitty gritty of languages. And had been my bedrock to grasp other programming languages easily. I am an ND 2 computer science pt student at yaba college of technology. I am currently writing my last semester paper and will be due for I.T placement by 1st day of march. Let me briefly describe my type of person.

* I am a do it well type of person
* I like to code tools either for hacks or for getting jobs done in time, even when I haven't create many thou.
* I am flexible, can pick any language in short time.
* I am an A.I enthusiast. And will after yaba start picking books on it.
* I understand Java, Just learn ruby. And was compelled to learn php.

Now my php is far above average as I can code for the web, and I ll soon start to watch videos I get for Ruby on Rails.

Problem: my system crashed few days ago and I am feeling rusty as I don't have any system to code and practice with.
