Dear Engineers,
I was listening to radio on my LG G6 of 3yrs+ with the battery at 92% and suddenly it got hot. Then, the battery went down to Zero. The phone is still getting hot more even after the battery has been drained. I have to loose it and remove the battery. I put the battery back later and the battery is neither charging nor power ON.
What could be the problem?

I got A12 ota update for lg g8x today but I didn't update because the update from lg contains alot of bugs and my advice to anyone using lg g8x is, they should not update to A12 for now

I later decided to update my lg g8x to A12 3days ago, I will say so far it has been working perfectly without bugs or lag and I didn't reset the phone.

It's best to always factory reset phones after software updates. It will fix some issues/bugs that might cause the device to malfunction.
