BusinessRe: Breaking News: N100 To Become N1 By August 1, 2008 by rufflychux(m): 6:08am On Aug 20, 2007
What joy it'll bring to see the Naira rise again like a phoenix; but a consequential plummet due to an onslaught and failure to curb the level of corruption will only revert us to our present state; and believe me when I say that this time it'll take the phoenix a century to recuperate its bones let alone rise from its ashes. A stable corruption level + an increased currency value is just as stupid as feeding the people to lions. It'll be great shame to rise and fall again but cawordly to have never risen

The re-evaluation of the Nigerian currency is without any doubt a good news; however, important questions should be put into intensive consideration before taking this dangerous, but nevertheless vital, step into reviving the economy of a not-so-thriving nation. This decission should, rather than serve as a delusionment charm to us, be an awekening call to face the dounting responsibility of keeping the Nation's head above the waters by maintaining a stable or rising economic system.

peeceelove:
Rufflychucks, if you think disrespecting everybody in Nigeria is the solution, then a big Bleep YOU to you, cause the solution to any problem is not by attacking it but by been diplomatic about it. Is Nigeria the only country that is corrupt, what about United state of America, where you have drugs on the street, where guns is in the hands of every tom privates and harry, where there is no respect for family values, where broken home is at high rate, where kids do not have regards for there parents, where a kid could send his or her parents to jail for being dealt with.
yes i agree some Nigerians are corrupt, but what about those countries that welcome this same fraudsters? are they not the worst for Aiding and Abating? the stolen wealth from Africa is what is sustain g some western Nations today so meen Bleep YOU for being angry, if i may ask what are doing in States, are you not striving to live. why not come back to YOUR country to make things better that complaining, see meen YOU ARE A SECOND CLASS CITIZEN IN THE STATES and there is no way you can be ACCEPTED in that part of the world. come back home and make the change. for the problem we are going through only GOD can see us through. NOT ALL IBOS ARE CORRUPT. AND FOR THE LOUSY JOURNALIST OUT THERE THAT WANT TO MAKE NEWS, LET THEM COME INTO THE COUNTRY AND MEET THE RIGHT PEOPLE TO ASK QUESTION. CHEERS TO ALL THAT BELIEVE NIGERIA WILL RISE AGAIN
Suck it up you porkchop; what do you know about being diplomatic? Do you use glasses to read posts on nairaland or didn't you read when I wrote "I'm all for Nigeria?" Suck your demented ridden ass up and concentrate on the at hand, who gives a Bleep about being a first class citizen in a country whose leaders are so currupt? Yes, I'd rather be a second class citezen in the USA than be a first class, poverty ridden, frustrated wacked up junk head Nigerian like yourself. As a matter of fact I'd rather be a 3rd Citizen than be treated like a 2nd class citizen in my own country. See what they did to Eedris Abdulkareem? Is he not a First class Nigerian citizen? Check your facts peanut brain before you pour your lompo factless facts, fucking ompa lompa.
You are a first class Nigerian citizen - Kudos to you.
Guess what? I'm a First Class Nigerian citizen too + a citizenship abroad.

Sweet T, you must be a slowpoke. Are you trying to say that if asked how to curb the current predicament on the Nigerian image issue, you will refrain your suggestions towards the ibo tribe alone? - That is moronic.
The problem at hand is a National one; as much as I hate to associate myself with Nigerians here abroad, I most definately don't make rooms for exceptions.
The Yorubas are just as much of a 419 as the Ibos, Hausas and any other tribe; though I would say that their 419 acts varies in different fields.
The fact is that Nigeria as a whole is corrupt, it is not a tribal but a National issue, you should know that.
It drives me mad, really, especially when Nigeria say they are "The giant of Africa." That is rubbish, Nigeria has been made a shit hole by the former presidents (as well as the current president). I'm all for Nigeria but Bleep the Goverment, Bleep the former presidents (Especially IBB and Abacha), Bleep the current president, Bleep the president that will be elcted this 2007 and Bleep YOU (and anyone) who say the Ibos are the reasons for Nigeria's quandary.
Christianity EtcRe: Jesus: The Son Of God, Or God? by rufflychux(m): 1:54pm On Mar 24, 2007
Not many people comprehend the Trinity concept but it holds. To start with, read 1 Timothy 3:16 which says
(1) 16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: (Which means that the Godhead indeed is a mystery as opposed to many religions that say things like "Our God is not a God of confusion". It is right there, God is a God of mystery)
(2) God was manifest in the flesh (Which means that God was made flesh i.e God was made human; compare this to John 1:14 which says "The word (Jesus) was made flesh and he dwelt among us, )
(3) justified in the Spirit, seen of angels,
preached unto the Gentiles (When Jesus was on earth, he preached to the Gentiles.)

(4), believed on in the world, (Jesus was belived in the world; though not by the whole world)

(5) (God was) received up into glory. (Jesus was the one that was received up into glory).

Put all these together and you will see how true the Trinity holds.
FamilyRe: Men Not Wanting To Get Married by rufflychux(m): 12:40pm On Mar 23, 2007
wow! Must women bring up topics of this genre? Can't believe I'll have to spend the rest of me life with ONE person, But if I do (and if most guys do), then the woman must be something else. Serriously, any woman that can get me (and most guys) to propose must be Wonderwoman or Superwoman tongue
FamilyRe: Men Not Wanting To Get Married by rufflychux(m): 12:08pm On Mar 23, 2007
Wow. The thought of spending my life with ONE person doesn't seem to bother me alone tongue some of we guys often say that marriage is a highway to hell.
Just paranoid about getting married (And for a god reason). Lovelife withers like a rose with time ('xept if watered everytime, and blimey!, I aint no Gardener tongue)

Christianity EtcRe: Why Did God Plant That Tree In The Garden Of Eden? by rufflychux(m): 5:59pm On Mar 12, 2007
Most narrations in the bible are actually metaphorical. I am still finding it hard to believe that God something as simple as a "fruit" is responsible for the human race's predicament. God always ilustrate things using parables and metaphors. It will be wise to think he is using the concept of a "fruit" to illustrate
something else.

Beline:
I am a script writer, i have written many scripts and screenplay them but experience thought me not to release anymore copy until I finally find a Director who will protect my interest.

About four people have seen my work and each of them will exclaim at the first instant my dear you're talented, one even said you are not only a writer but a director, you know what? after they promise to go home with it in order to show it to their director they will not contact me again and if i call, the response will be I DON'T HAVE TIME OR DO YOU WANT ME TO RETURN YOUR COPY?

Imagine one came to me and said YOU WERE WRITING ONE PLAY WHEN YOU GAVE ME A COPY OF THE OTHER ONE CAN I HAVE A COPY OF IT?

I don't know if for real all of them at different point don't have time or they are working with my work behind me.

I have a lot of written and screenplay work with me now but i can't keep releasing them until I meet the right person.
I am a screenwriter as well, though not ptofessionally but aspiring. Beline, are you based in Naija or Abroad?
ProgrammingRe: An Introduction To Programming Using C by rufflychux(m): 2:24pm On Aug 04, 2006
Hi, I am new to this forum and I must say I really admire your efforts in giving out hints about writing programs in C. I also tried to evaluate some of the assignments you gave and got the exact answers you got. I am new to programming so I am studying Scheme and C side by side. Here is the code to your post.

#include <stdio.h>

main ()
{
printf ("hello !\n"wink;
printf ("my name is rufflychux\n"wink;
printf ("what is your name?\n"wink;
}
