5. Corruption: Bribbery and corruption everwhere. You need to touch people's back pockets if you are to succeed.

In all honesty, South Africa is an above modest country. Their Economy is VERY GOOD compared to Nigeria's. Checkout the exchange rate of the two national currencies to the British Pound. South Africa is ahead of Nigeria I'm sorry to say. It's not that Nigeria is poor or illiterate. Nigeria was cursed to walk backwards with it's eyes closed. Nigeria was given a BIG MOUTH.  Other countries are busy moving forward. The sad part is that we have SOOO MUCH OIL. We get OIL NYAFU-NYAFU. But you know how it is, corruption destroys everything it lays it's hands on.

And our leaders are past that point where civillians can change their hearts. They just want to STEAL MONEY. STEAL MONEY ALL THE TIME. The thing don tire me.
But think about it, if you say Nigeria is poor or corrupt, what can you say about places like Sudan? Iraq? Afghanistan? These places are worse than Nigeria of course. Not only are their economies poor, but they also have to put up with constant suicide bombers.

Unfortunately, our Government are still about to realize that in order to make money you have to sell stuffs. Our importations by far outweigh our exportations which is similar to a business venture buying more than it is actually selling out.
Honestly, the only difference between our Government and toddlers is that they don't wear diapers; otherwise tell me how it has managed to escape their comprehension that most things that are imported are actually being manufactured by the local production companies. Nigerians are very talented in virtually all aspect of employment you can possible come up with, but yet the Government stand from afar and watch the talents of their people follow them to the grave. We need employment and not some bullshit of "revaluation of the Naira"; of what use is the currency if there are no employments? How better off will we be then if the facilities of our companies go to rot? Plagued by corruption and greed we are and doom is our destination.
