demmysoft: Hello house, someone should help me with the link to check the status for my online Canada application, I couldn't access the mail used by my agent for the application, and I just received a mail that I have a new message in my application account, that I should sign in to access the messages.
Please, is there a link to check the update/tracking.
Thanks. You can track from vfs if you have a tracking number. Or you go to CIC page and login in through gckey |

eclectic139: Are you the one doing the application on behalf of your guest? Anyhoo, The Immigration Website doesn't specifically say you should notarize the IV letter, but I notarized mine, cost about $50. I did it because in my mind I felt it will be like an extra sign of commitment to whoever is processing the application, especially since I haven't been 6months in Canada. You address the letter to the IRCC. We haven't received a decision on the application yet sha. I also posted the letter to the applicant incase they are called in for an interview. thanks a lot, i wanted to, but now i think its paper that is faster. also i want to know which visa office you addressed your letter to |

maplez: This may be helpful to someone as I got tips from this post too.
My mum just got her visitor visa today. My husband and I live in Canada and we invited her to visit us as i'm having a baby soon
I stated in my invitation letter that hubby and I will be fully responsible for her financial obligations for the entire trip including flight tickets, accommodation, expenses in Canada etc
Applied - Sept 12 (paper route) Got Visa - Oct 5
Supporting docs from my end Invitation letter copy of my PR card and hubby's PR card my birth certificate our house document (to show she has a place to stay) my most recent tax returns my most recent 2 months payslip hubby's most recent 2 months payslip employment confirmation from my manager letter from my doctor confirming pregnancy
Supporting docs my mum added statement of purpose (well I wrote it...telling them purpose is just to be there for the delivery and see her first grandchild) tax receipt for her shop her marriage certificate and my dad's passport page my two younger brothers' birth certificate consent letter from my dad
AND some prayers
What we used to prove ties? Her husband and my two younger brothers (lastborn is a teenager) are still back in Nigeria Shop tax receipt ....proving she has a business to come back to.
We didn't use any bank statement, none from her side, none from mine. I think if you have close-tie family member in canada who can provide payslips and tax returns, that seems to be acceptable with them. Last year, my younger sis had applied for study visa using my dad's bank statement with over 7M closing balance and they refused the visa stating financial blablabla. She re-applied the second time with just my payslips and tax returns and the study visa was approved. Please which visa office did she use? Was biometrics done on that day? |

A555: Our experience for Calgary was quite straightforward.
Arrived in Calgary 6 weeks before the baby was due. Went to registry to sign up for health care and asked for the Alberta healthcare number immediately, so we had it written down while waiting for the card to arrive in the post within a week (I think it was actually just a couple of days later).
Went straight to sign up with a regular family doctor (walk-in) who immediately made the referral. Scans and tests were requested because the medical report from Nigeria was insufficient. The family doctor did a lot of the initial work. Called various hospitals & maternity clinics till he found one to take us straightaway. In fact, he referred us to the maternity clinic for the same day, and then called us in the evening to confirm we had seen the doctor. At the maternity clinic, they simply booked us in to see a doctor the following week.
Due to the proximity to the due date, at the maternity clinic, doctor asked that we schedule weekly visits. So after every appointment, we scheduled a follow up for the following week. Everything went smoothly, and honestly it was the best experience ever. If you're coming into Alberta, I doubt you will have much Please I'd really like to know if after the health card and all, did you have to pay for anything |

toyogirl: So the interview took less than 30mins (CHC, Accra)
They just needed to clarify my work experience, ensure we still have enough funds and to be sure I'm ready to reenter the workforce, as I had taken time off work for a while to take care of family
I was asked for originals of evidence of salary payments (printed for over 5yrs) , payslips (gave them abt 22 months) , Bank stmts for last 6 months.
She asked questions about my work experince using each description for my NOC (2171), asked abt projects I handled and client, some otger fetails abt my salary, asked abt studies...went thru all docs and said she was satisfied
I was expecting her to apologise for taking me all the way to Accra but I didn't get that
She asked if I wanted my meds extended, I said NO(expires July)
She said I'd have to go back to send our passports, I gently raised them up to show her I had them....then she said "photos"? and I answered that I had everything....she was like wow
They had a system downtime, so she asked that I get schedule A for my spouse across to them and pick up our passports by 9am next morning, if it fit into my schedule...so we agreed
She thanked me for being organised and we engaged in small talk and said our goodbyes
I picked up passports next morning
The end.....
Note: I had "ready to finalise" on my noted since last year September but sadly, London did not treat some of our files until February.
Well, i believe it came at the appointed time...
Interview calls are not to reject an application...just to address concerns... Good day. I just got a mail for an interview at Accra would you be kind enough to get accords to me on rukayatdabiri@gmail.com. so you can.put me through |
