Please I need some guidance, just in case anyone has faced a similar challenge.

In 2016, I was turned back at the PoE in Chicago, while going to have my baby. I had given birth to two before then in the US and it was never an issue. But this November 2016 case, the lady was obviously pro-Trump. She even said "a new sherrif is in town" so those of us coming to give our kids blue passport have another thing coming. This was the month Trump won.

This lady wrote on my file that I was planning to use Medicaid to have my baby and wasn't planning to pay (false because I showed all previous receipts and even gave her the hospital contacts to verify). Then she put me on a plane back, 33 weeks pregnant.

Now, the issue is that she seems to have written a whole lot on my record cos I just went for a student visa interview (with two dependents) and after answering all questions well, the VO look at his screen for a long time and then gave me a rejection.

Please, how do it go about this? How can I clear my records? Cos even if I reapply, this may still be an issue.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? I need need help. Someone advised me to ask on this platform. Thank you.
.

I don't know if this will help. Please check Argo visa on Facebook or www.argovisa.com and consult a visa officer on your case. They definitely will guide you through. Good luck

Glory! Glory to God in the Highest!!!

Embassy Location: Abuja

School name: University of New Mexico

Program: Ph.D. Chemistry

Funding: $38k

Status: Approved

My appointment was for 9am. But, was at the embassy at 7:30am. Stood for hours before it got to my turn. Meanwhile, only two male VOs were working. The VO at window 9 had just approved an elderly man's application without stress. Immediately, I followed up!!

VO: Good Morning, pass me your documents(smiling)
Me: Good morning sir. And gave him the docs.

VO: Have you traveled to the US.
Me: Yes, sir.
VO: When? (While shaking is head. I was just saying in my mind, Holy spirit, take control).
Me: in 2016.
VO: Where are you working?
Me: I work with xxxx
VO: What position?
Me: I work as a xxxx

VO: You are going for Chemistry?
Me: Yes, with specialization in Biochemistry, as I have a BSc and MSc in Biochemistry. And I intend to come back to take up a lecturing position in my alma mata, UNN.
VO: That's fine. While shaking his head.
VO:Are you married and do you have a kid.
Me: I'm married, but no kid yet.
VO: Is your wife going with you?
Me: No sir, she's running a fashion business, and also running a part time program in NSUK, so she can't abandon her program to join me.

VO: That's fine. Ok... Will be keeping this, my passport(oga, I dash u sef). While giving me the white paper.

Couldn't believe it. But, I know it is just God that did it for me. His favor and mercy spoke for me.

Thanks to @⁨Joseph Oluwaseun⁩ who introduced me to the GRE acer group, and to all the group members, whose Transcripts really assisted me in this interview. And to all nairaland members. Thank you!! Your testimony is next!

Please how can I join the gre Acer group? TIA

I went today to below vital office,

8000 north statdium driver
Houston Texas 77054

They told me there’s no record for my child exists!!!!
Any idea or advise what to do?
I guess is too early to go request for that, though I don't know how long it takes in Houston but for Atlanta, you need to wait for 10 business days following the child birth to obtain a copy of the certificate.

I am actually having difficulties with accommodation in Atlanta. The ones I'm seeing on airbnb are over 2k per month. Please who has any recommendation on accommodation in ATL? abi I should switch to Maryland? I actually have accommodation in Maryland, but my hospital Bill's the last time cost way over 20k, infact almost 30k and I don't want a repeat experience.
.

Try East Point or Marietta, Atlanta suburbs
