Wike is doing damage control he knows the bromance between himself and the president is coming to an end as such he is doing everything possible with window dressing to make it look as if he is in control of things. However, reverse is the case you can't love someone and want to ignite fire in the economy engine room of the country. Already Nigeria is experiencing economy downtrum additionally the president intervene but you are claiming to be a demigod no worry hand go reach you soon... |
Trump inordinate choice of words and threat to military action will amount to total betrayal and treachery. This is totally unimaginable and unacceptable especially from a trusted ally like Denmark. They don't deserve this! |
The key reason for insecurity in every society is lack of justice, poverty and ideological government fueled by extremism and Fundamentalists and that was why Elrufai didn't succeed in cubing insecurity but this is man is not only liberal but has a cosmopolitan style of politics that is base on inclusiveness and tolerance. |
First time I am hearing this in our corrupt litigation system it is not easy to reject the temptation of money as a matter of God it takes the grace and fear of God to do that and I am certain this judge knows it that is why. However, omo this judge is very wicked 😂😂 500 million each and the person who will serve as the surtey will be verified where he got the money and properties, in order words maybe hope for Malami and his family to be freed will be dashed. He might be reminded in the prison and be breaking firewood while his litigation is going on... |
I sincerely pity Osimeh honestly speaking this guy is heading to doom because his career is about to crash. You can't continue like this and want to be respected as a patriotic citizen and a country man I have lost my respect for this man. |
ify2016:bootlicker nobody is an enemy of a bitter and frustrated baller like him. |
VeeVeeMyLuv:Osimeh has no right to be that aggressive and angry if he is not a bitter person. Already he has two goals to his name and not from anybody but that same player that he went on to raze his aggression and frustration on like the guy no get right at all to shout or yell at any player who doesn't pass to him left alone a player like Lookman who gave him two assists. What a selfish behavior having two goals and can't control your outer selfish hunger to score more? |
Osimeh behavior was so inordinate and highly repulsive and impulsive. As a professional player of his pedigree he shouldn't have behaved the way he did. Apparently, he has no right to fight or talk to any player in that manner not even the captain or coach has that right. Moreso, this same player gave you two assists what a selfish and self centered man this is the true replica of how we humans are, so quick to forget the positive aspects of life and focus on negativity. This attitude is a sum total of a biter and acrimonious person how will you speak to a player like that? would he be happy if he was spoken to like that? in this Afcon if we are to rate base on performance Lookman is the star of the team. Arbitrarily, he is magnificent and full of aura his dribble and passes are dangerous and deadly. He makes quick, intentional and decisive moves his assists are full of precision like a bunker busters. Osimeh should learn emotional resilience and apologize he is not and can't be too big for the club. Like what happened yesterday rings in my head like a horror Hollywood movie. Come on, like who gave him that mind, audacity and temerity to behave that way to another player omo... that guy went to far... |
erniok2:walahi no president on earth US can't abduct or kidnap the hard nut to crack is Xi of China, however he could be a victim. What happened to Osama and Maduro is a script that can't be acted in Hollywood. The only reason US will not do such to many leaders is because of diplomacy and nuclear weapons. |
ibedun:Apparently you are right bro... but sorry nobody is a slave to any form of propaganda. Understanding the true context of a mad man in this discusse is not an insult, it simply means he will not stand any form of provoke or unprovoked attack because he is very much impulsive and he will resort to every available means including going apocalyptic to restrain that action. |
The simple reason is because North Korea has nuclear warheads most especially stationed in the hand of a mad man. However, if it is base on overt and covert operations led by intelligence gathering and executed by conventional warfare I am telling you between now and 24 Kim Jung Un is a goner. Equally, the US are not also apprehensive because of their nuclear warfare but transfer of aggression through war of proximity especially with Japan and South Korea. |
Trump did not follow the mission from the White House situation room. Instead, he was surrounded by his advisers at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida, where he watched a live stream of the operation flanked by CIA Director John Ratcliffe and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. "It was an incredible thing to see," Trump said on Saturday. "If you would have seen what happened, I mean, I watched it literally like I was watching a television show. And if you would've seen the speed, the violence... it's just, it was an amazing thing, an amazing job that these people did." A small team, including one source within the Venezuelan government, had been observing where the 63-year-old slept, what he ate, what he wore and even, according to top military officials, "his pets". Then, in early December, a planned mission dubbed "Operation Absolute Resolve" was finalised. It was the result of months of meticulous planning and rehearsals, which even included elite US troops creating an exact full-size replica of Maduro's Caracas safe house to practise their entry routes. The plan - which amounted to an extraordinary US military intervention in Latin America not seen since the Cold War - was closely guarded. Congress was not informed or consulted ahead of time. With the precise details set, top military officials simply had to wait for the optimal conditions to launch. They wanted to maximise the element of surprise, officials said on Saturday. There was a false start four days earlier when US President Donald Trump gave approval, but they opted to wait for better weather and less cloud cover. "Over the weeks through Christmas and New Year, the men and women of the United States military sat ready, patiently waiting for the right triggers to be met and the president to order us into action," General Dan Caine, the nation's highest-ranking military officer, told a news conference on Saturday morning. 'Good luck and godspeed' The order from the president to begin the mission finally came at 22:46 EST on Friday (03:46 GMT on Saturday). "We were going to do this four days ago, three days ago, two days ago, and then all of a sudden it opened up. And we said: go," Trump himself told Fox & Friends on Saturday, hours after the overnight raid. "He said to us, and we appreciate it... good luck and godspeed," Gen Caine said. Trump's order came shortly before midnight in Caracas, giving the military most of the night to operate in darkness. What followed was a two-hour-and-twenty-minute mission by air, land and sea that stunned many in Washington and around the world. Trump did not follow the mission from the White House situation room. For months, US spies had been monitoring Venezuelan President's Nicolas Maduro's every move. What followed was a two-hour-and-twenty-minute mission by air, land and sea that stunned many in Washington and around the world. In terms of scale and precision, it was virtually unprecedented. And it drew immediate condemnation from several regional powers, with Brazil's President Lula da Silva saying the violent capture of Venezuela's leader set "yet another extremely dangerous precedent for the entire international community". And if you would've seen the speed, the violence... it's just, it was an amazing thing, an amazing job that these people did." In recent months, thousands of US troops have deployed to the region, joining an aircraft carrier and dozens of warships in the largest military build-up in decades as Trump has accused Maduro of drug-trafficking and narco-terrorism, and blown up dozens of small boats accused of ferrying drugs through the region. But the first signs of Operation Absolute Resolve were in the skies. More than 150 aircraft - including bombers, fighter jets and reconnaissance planes - were ultimately deployed through the course of the night, according to US officials. "It was very complex, extremely complex, the whole manoeuvre, the landings, the number of aircraft," Trump told Fox News. "We had a fighter jet for every possible situation." "I heard a huge sound, a loud bang," reporter Ana Vanessa Herrero told the BBC. "It moved all the windows. Immediately after I saw a huge cloud of smoke that almost blocked the entire view." She added: "Planes and helicopters were flying all over the city." Soon, videos showing numerous aircraft in the skies - and others showing the apparent aftermath of explosions - began to circulate widely on social media. One showed a convoy of helicopters flying at low altitude over Caracas as smoke rose from apparent detonations. "We woke up at around 01:55 to the roar of explosions and the hum of planes flying over Caracas," one witness. Daniela, told the BBC. "Everything was plunged into absolute darkness, illuminated only by the flashes of nearby detonations." She added: "Neighbours were messaging in the condominium group chat, all confused and unaware of what was happening [and] frightened by the blasts." BBC Verify has examined a number of videos showing explosions, fire and smoke in locations around Caracas to identify exactly which sites were targeted. So far, it has confirmed five locations including Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda Air Base, an airfield known as La Carlota and Port La Guaira, Caracas' main conduit to the Caribbean Sea. Trump says US is going to 'run' Venezuela after capturing President Maduro Venezuela could now define Trump's legacy - and America's place in the world Why has Trump attacked Venezuela and taken Maduro? Highlighted sites include Port La Guaira to the north, Fuerte Tiuna and La Carlota in Caracas, and Higuerote Airport to the east. Some of the US strikes targeted air defence systems and other military targets, officials said. Trump also suggested the US cut the power in Caracas before the mission began, though he did not specify how. "The lights of Caracas were largely turned off due to a certain expertise that we have," he said. "It was dark and it was deadly." 'They knew we were coming' As strikes rang out around Caracas, US forces made their way into the city. They included members of the elite Delta Force, the US military's top special mission unit, sources told the BBC's US news partner CBS. They were heavily armed - and carried a blowtorch in case they had to cut through the metal doors of Maduro's safe house. The troops arrived at Maduro's location shortly after the strikes began at 02:01 local time, according to Gen Caine. Trump described the safe house as a military "fortress" in the heart of Caracas, saying: "They were in a ready position waiting for us. They knew we were coming." The troops took fire when they arrived, and one of the US helicopters was hit but was still able to fly. "The apprehension force descended into Maduro's compound and moved with speed, precision and discipline," Gen Caine said. "They just broke in, and they broke into places that were not really able to be broken into, you know, steel doors that were put there for just this reason," Trump remarked. It was only as the operation - which also saw Maduro's wife, Cilia Flores, seized - was unfolding that Rubio began notifying lawmakers about the action, a decision which has since prompted anger from some in the US Congress. "Let me be clear: Nicolas Maduro is an illegitimate dictator. But launching military action without congressional authorisation and without a credible plan for what comes next is reckless," said top Democrat Chuck Schumer, the party's leader in the Senate. Briefing Congress ahead of time would have endangered the mission, Rubio told reporters during the news conference on Saturday. "Congress has a tendency to leak," Trump added. "This would not be good." What followed was a two-hour-and-twenty-minute mission by air, land and sea that stunned many in Washington and around the world. "He was trying to get to a safe place, which wasn't safe, because we would have had the door blown up in about 47 seconds," Trump said. "He made it to the door. He was unable to close it. He got bum rushed so fast that he didn't get into that [room]." When asked if the US could have killed Maduro, an authoritarian leader who took over the presidency in 2013, if he had resisted arrest, Trump said: "It could have happened." On the US side, "a couple of guys were hit", he said, but no US service members were killed. The Venezuelan authorities have not confirmed any casualties. The US had previously offered a $50m (£37) reward for information leading to Maduro's arrest. But by 04:20 local time on Saturday, helicopters were leaving Venezuelan territory with Maduro and his wife on board, in custody of the US Department of Justice and en route ultimately to New York, where they are expected to face criminal charges. Almost exactly an hour later Trump announced the news of his capture to the world. "Maduro and his wife will soon face the full might of American justice," he said. In terms of scale and precision, it was virtually unprecedented. And it drew immediate condemnation from several regional powers, with Brazil's President Lula da Silva saying the violent capture of Venezuela's leader set "yet another extremely dangerous precedent for the entire international community". Very mature and highly emotional and regrettable submission. From his tune you could imagine anger, betrayal and regret. He didn't become like the regular political godfathers that run riots and behave like made dogs he acted in a sensible manner. I wish him best of luck in his endeavors. |
This is totally outrageous and ridiculous the government will have to come into this and set a cap benchmark for house rent in Nigeria especially in big cities like Lagos and Port-harcourt. Housing shouldn't be this expensive... |
Despite the fact I am not in support of this operation but I can't deny the fact that their is coordination and precision. The difference is clear in just less than 24 hrs mission done and dusted but the case is different with Russia and Ukraine. |
I am pro America but this is an act taken to far! already the president has opted for a deal and that deal is no way in favor of their country. Military cooperation to fight terrorism and drug lords, giving oil rigs, accepting US bilateral cooperation through investments of US big oil companies in their country is a big and fair deal despite the fact, that is against the president and the nations interest because that is what America will not do. Conversely, instead of the US to accept the deal and deal with it in a deplomatic way the went on with military rampage to show might is right. This is totally unimaginable and condemnable. |
The world is so rotten and corrupt that everybody wants to use dishonorable and dishonest way to make money. How can you work for 28 hrs to make 70k pounds?. No sleep and no rest...? perhaps, even though you had sleep and rest how can you make such humongous amount of money in 28 hrs that is highly illogical and irrational. Maybe, she is having that unexplainable amount of money in her account in a dishonest way and wants to use this 28 hrs wok pay to cover her dirty money. |
PDPdestroyer:When the heart is soil will wickedness there is no truth except lies and evil. The US and Israel always suffer from the brutal hands of these wicked, evil, fallacious and sagacious liars. Their mouth is the slayer of truth because their souls are bitter and frustrated looking like a wondering restless lion. We see in the picture of their conspiracy the theory of conspicuous and meticulous attempts to water the flowers of evil while forgetting that truth becomes the soil to decay it. We see how Imams and Sheiks preach support with the themes of Boko Haram and ISWAP. We will not forget Pantami the American boot soldier that said Talibans and Alqaeda are more Islamic than him what about Buhari whose chilling thundering voice echo the splash of comradeship with them is this how Uncle Sam are powerful to manipulate and use Islamic men of high echelon to be their foot soldiers? Are these terrorists not backing their evil with Quranic and Hadiths references... The lies goes on just they way they are confused to say Jesus is the same as Isah while the Holy Bible and Quran recorded different historical antecedents about them. What about saying Jesus and other Jews prophets are Muslims when it is imperical that the Quran records Muhammed as the first Muslim... |
KnownUnknown:That same information that you inadvertently refused to make good use of it objectively. |
FreeStuffsNG:Ok bro, sorry for quoting you out of context. |
FreeStuffsNG:Oga rest that is a clear metaphorical statement to say that in one family and nation people will be divided because of them believing in Christ. Arbitrarily, that is true. We see same blood will fighting themselves just for the sake that they believe in God through Christ. i.e if A and B are children of the same father but A chooses to follow Christ B will bring war to him and persecute him additionally, as we are in Nigeria today Radicals Muslims wage war against Christians because of their beliefs and and indeed to tell you the Holy Bible is a complete prophetic book all the prophecy are manifesting abi you no dey see dem? |
KnownUnknown:if you don't have anything to type read comments alone or leave the cyberspace rather peddling fallacies. Who are the Christians fighting? Just tell me one Christian terrorists group moving or hovering around with guns and bombs. Abeg face your atheism without dragging Christianity in it to have an engagement because you will be seriously engaged... |
Then what are you waiting for...? That is the prayer point of every PDP faithful. As matter of fact they will pay for the next available flight to airlift you and it will be with first class ticket. Do not stay to make it live, leave so that we will know your importance. |
Tunmise40:Bro it is a synthetic or synthesis chemical element made in the lab i.e man made or artificial. Sorry, not referring to you but it is imperative to say we should make indepth research first before saying anything this is how we kept on dishing out some poisonous recipe that the US are responsible for the insecurity in Borno and elsewhere but in contrast is as a result of apologetic traits in some people that end up them being religious extremists and ideological Fundamentalists. If we say US are responsible for the insecurity in the country then the US are also responsible for some Sheikhs and Imams insulting and saying Christians are infidels or Muslims should not eat Christians food perhaps the US said they should kill Deborah! So the insecurity caused in Borno and elsewhere is as a result of extremists, poverty, religious intolerance and above all religious apologists or apologetics. |
The reckless statement made by this charlatan who double down as a terrorist apologist and sympathizer is becoming unbecoming. The government has given him a long rope and it is time the rope is cut! Perhaps, I don't blame him because apparently there are those who are naturally above the law in Nigeria and arbitrarily, this media terrorist warlord is one of them. He has no sympathy for human lives and do not value people killed daily by these religious extremists and ideological Fundamentalists whom are pampered, loved and treated like sacred cows more than the innocent victims of crime through hate and selfishness. It is imperative to say this man stand no chance to live among humans. The treatment of what the terrorists are giving to us should be giving to him by the government or the US to see how he will feel anywhere he is. |
MD Sallah has constantly proven over time the importance of religion tolerance we pray others will understand and pursue this course. Amen! |
surijohn:While your Paper Tigger Russia should face Ukraine abi dem no fit win the war in three or two weeks again? |
Na gbas gbos we go see these days because I trust Lere he will never allow this stray bullet go unnoticed. It will be total comeback! This political Royal Rumble go sweet pass WWE. Our own na to see the last man standing. |
Vice president wey get doings. His presence in that combat craft drill is a morale booster and a motivation to many. This is what we need to see our government doing everyday but reverse is the case there training is on how to loot the national treasury dry. |
fuckingAyaya:Why bringing Nnamdi Kanu in this thread? this is total red herring. |
This is highly recommendable but the problem is that the anti corruption war is a tool weaponized and waged on opposition members. The hammer should be used on the ruling party corrupt members too. |
