Indeed,IMF and World Bank want Nigeria to do away with subsidy but they made it clear how to manage the aftereffects and even went ahead to give Nigeria 800m dollars to cushion the short-term effects..But what next?
Tinubu removed subsidy without putting any plan outlined by IMF in place..

I can reliably tell you that the 800m dollars from World bank and IMF has been looted by Tinubu and his cronies..why blame IMF?
IMF and World Bank talked about repositioned the NNPC..since Tinubu assumed office if I may ask 'how many barrel of oil do Nigeria produce,export and consume? Who are those people benefiting from the subsidy scam,what did Tinubu know about petroleum that he arrogated himself as minister of?
PO talked about modular refinery for local content and consumption when the subsidy is gone
The truth is that you can't remove subsidy from what you are importing because it will mean that a UK citizen whose basic wage is £10/hrs will buy petrol at £1 per litter with his Nigerian counterpart whose basic wage is 1000 naira(£1)per day..
IMF and World Bank did ask Nigeria to remove subsidy but they didn't ask Nigeria to remove subsidy without plan in place or to use remove subsidy as an avenue to looting.
Lastly, Nigeria should asked Tinubu to account for 800m World Bank loan and resign as petroleum minister.

Have you ever imagined why Remi Tinubu went to Kano and Adeboye to Kaduna last week?
Even though there were protest in Osun and other parts of Yoruba the presidency dispatched emissary to the north instead..
I listened to a Yoruba PDP chieftain who argued that Obi/Igbos must strike deal with other parts of Nigeria to get the presidency..
