haymekus: I don't see Argentina qualifying for the round of 16
Croatia might decide to lose their match, thereby leaving the group very opening
Besides I don't see them winning naija
Croatia are way too professional to just "decide" to lose. They will likely play for and get a draw to cement top spot. They have qualified but they surely will want to avoid France, which could be their worst case scenario in this whole furore.
It is really a straight dogfight between naija and the argies.
SailorXY: I heard two men discussing Pogba on a train one day & their main contention was annoyance due to the fact they think he's no realizing his potential by not being serious enough. His attitude may suggest that but we all don't know the amount of work he put in behind the cameras to better himself.
Pogba's major problem is he is trying too hard to look like a "finesse" player... he is dying to be that languid, lazy kinda flair player, something in the mould of Berbatov or Kanu. Guys who seem to just stroll around and play the game at a leisurely but lethal way. That is a natural trait, if it is not in you, you cannot force it. If he really exerts his power, I mean put his body into it, coupled with the ball skills he has, he will be hard to play against.
Why are we thinking Madrid or other top clubs will try to buy him if we decide to let him go?
Any club that buys this "current Pogba", will regret!
Why are we thinking Madrid or other top clubs will try to buy him if we decide to let him go? its only logical that we should be looking @ the Lazios & Stuttgarts of European football.
In truth, these are from where real gems are more likely to be found... but in UTD current position, na mind to buy "unknown" quantities!
Lichtensteiner is a shrewd signing. Forget the age, that dude is one strong SOB and plays with so much energy (at least the last time I seen him play)... bar Bellerin, I think he is way more reliable than most of the defenders Arsenal currently parade.
if the ballon dor was awarded on 5th May the day barca won la liga liga at the bernabeau with 15 clear points messi would have won it.
in another 5 days the dust haze from last night would settle.
True. The last major things that happen tend to decide those awards. For me, I still think both have equal chances. Both teams won silverware and individual merits. So, the WC is still the tie-breaker. Also, still an equally bigger possibility of some 'outsider' breaking the duopoly!
sinizia: Lol. Firmino is not like your typical striker. He needs intelligent sidekicks to excel. He can't bully defenders like Ukaku or Drogba. Once Salah was taken out, it's game over for him. Mane on the other hand tried and impressed coz he's multipurpose. He can play on both wings and used it to great advantage.
Tactically, they should have just resorted to basic route-1 or cross n nod footie after Salah left. Mane and Firminho running around, Solanke up top. Leave all Ramos bravado. Wen e see physical striker, e dey cower.
Nihilstjnr: Falz tried to tell a message but the copy copy style was a turn off.
There's a difference between paying homage and faithful reproduction, and a difference between inspiration and plagiarism.
His dad is also Femi Falana. I don't really need a rich privileged kid preaching from his folks pad about experiences that are not his own.
His message lacks authenticity abeg. I'm sprry.
Funny man... children of the poor who have the opportunity to use music and highlight the ills of society and their experiences are rather singing about nya.sh, party, henny, rose and blings. So let a priviledged child kuku do it na.
Emery is a good coach no doubt, but crank up the pressure cooker and the man go loss. Give him a decent, average side he will likely do very well because ambitions and expectations are not sky-high. But a club like Arsenal hungry to return back to English football top echelons, may be too much for him especially when the fans start to get demanding.
Glad to have watched this match and witnessed that nice moment when Da Don Iniesta handed over the torch to Seriki Messi... two players I really like and admire a lot!
kingkakaone: Sorry if u are offended. I guess I talked too much there.
It's okay bro. You are good and entitled to your opinion. I understand and appreciate that. We all love football and support different teams for different reasons. I am not bothered when a person starts following or supporting a team; or if they switch support every season. As long as we just keep loving the game with good spirit, fair play and no violence or extreme fanatism, I am cool!
kingkakaone: Look at Man city that had no fan in 2005 now have some fans that will be insulting others supporting Arsenal, Liverpool, and co.
You were making sense until you wrote these... who told you Man City had no fans in 2005? So if a person did not start supporting Man City before 2005 they should not be considered fans? Or Newcastle fans have not insulted fans of other clubs? Newcastle does not have 'plastic' fans?
diggz: I know you are tasty bytch...no champagne popping...no Remy flowing....you is even lonely...no trophies you are lifting.... niqqa are you celibate? cuz you look like you need help....you starving
