1. MERCY JOHNSON
Each time I see a headline with Mercy Johnson’s name I get discouraged to read the article because I don’t want to spoil my day with arguments of how awful her outfit choices are. It seems to me as though she never looks at the mirror after putting together an appalling outfit.
I totally understand that whatever you wear, your talent is still going to take you to the top but you can’t be at the top and still look this horrible because this one fact will be used against you darling. The only person she seems to be more fashionable than is her daughter.
Mercy Johnson please have MERCY on our sights and hire a professional stylist biko



2. HALIMA ABUBAKAR
I am a fan of your real talent but certainly not a fan of your horrible style. I personally think a special style chart should be created to help you out with how best to look. We know you are curvy, but sometimes you need to pick a perfect size that fits well instead of the undersized clothes you choose to rely on to enhance your curves.
Another thing I noticed is you try applying a lot of makeup to take the attention away from your awful outfit but in the end, you complicate matters for yourself because it becomes Awful outfit + Outlandish makeup. We need a CHANGE in this new year pleaseeeee


3. CHIKA IKE
Gossip says that Chika Ike is a good example of money can’t buy style but we don’t pay attention to gossips so…
However, what explanation can one give for shopping in some of the best boutiques and you still can’t look stylish? The perfect answer is CHIKA IKE. I still can’t believe she has been in Lagos in the midst of stylish actors like Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Jalade and still haven’t learnt a thing or two from them.
A few days ago a picture of this actress hit the internet wearing denim on denim but in a very sad way. It was a total misrepresentation of the denim trend. The jacket was undersized and whoever advised her to button the first and last button is worse than an Edo witch.



4. ANNIE IDIBIA
Most people have concluded that they can’t be bothered about Annie’s style but I still have hope for better days ahead. Annie’s outfit choices spell out ratchet more often than not and i wonder if she is really paying someone to dress her up that way or she’s trying too hard to remain in the game or impress someone or look relevant- which is it? Because whichever, she is trying too hard and getting it all wrong.



5. INI EDO
I will rather Ini Edo spends more money on getting a stylist than on cars. Because you can’t be riding a classy car and still look shabby. There is just this sadness i feel in the deepest part of my heart when i see someone dressing below expectation and I would ordinarily expect that Ini Edo would team up a good style with luxurious cars, but she obviously doesn’t share the same view.
A lot of people might pretend to be cool with your style but I don’t ever want to get judged for not saying this; Employ a new stylist to help you out with your wardrobe choices, that’s the best you can do to save our sights.

The presidential candidate of the PDP, President Goodluck Jonathan, said the Boko Haram insurgency will change in two weeks’ time. He made this statement at the meeting with members of the Yoruba Council of Elders at the State House, Marina, Lagos.

President Jonathan said the nation had acquired equipment to battle Boko Haram and in two-three weeks there wouldn’t be any threat to the forthcoming general elections.
According to him, Nigeria could not be defined by the Boko Haram insurgency, saying there was terror all over the world.
“Sometimes, people define Nigeria by the Boko Haram. Nigeria cannot be defined based on Boko Haram alone. There is terror all over the world. We’ve unfair share of the terror, but luckily, with what is happening now, I tell people that in the next two to three weeks, this story will change because we’ve got the equipment that we can withstand the excesses of Boko Haram.
“That is why these few days, you will see that the movement, we don’t want to say much. It’s going on gradually. My belief is that in the next three weeks or so, if we don’t completely take over all our territories, we would’ve handled Boko Haram to the extent that it’ll no longer be a problem to the elections that will come up,” he said.
Moreover, the President took to his Facebook to share some photos from the meeting and express his gratitude.
“It was a great honour and pleasure to receive members of the Yoruba Council of Elders who visited me today at the State House, Marina, Lagos. The wisdom from our elders is invaluable. I thank the elders for their visit and may God bless Nigeria. GEJ,” he wrote on his Facebook.
President, Yoruba Council of Elders (YCE), Gen. Adeyinka Adebayo (rtd), General Secretary YCE, Mr. Idowu Shofolahan; PDP National chairman, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu and others were present at the meeting.
The President was in Lagos to commission four Nigerian Navy warships at the Naval Dockyard Limited, Victoria Island.
It would be recalled that yesterday, February 18, Boko Haram has released a new video vowing to disrupt the 2015 general elections at all costs.

Boko Haram Leader Shekau Releases New Video, Says Nigeria’s Election Will Not Hold In Peace

Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau vowed to disrupt Nigeria’s general election in a new video released Tuesday, after two suicide attacks in the Northeast blamed on the Islamists killed 38 people.“This election will not be held even if we are dead. Even if we are not alive Allah will never allow you to do it,” Shekau said in the Hausa language, presumably referring to the polls scheduled for March 28.

The video appeared to be the first message released by the group on Twitter, a sign of its changing media tactics after previous messages were distributed to journalists on DVD.Shekau was shown in unusual clarity in front of a solid blue background, dressed in black and with an automatic weapon resting to his right.He also claimed a weekend attack in the Northeast Nigerian City of Gombe, which the military says was repelled.The Islamist leader, declared a global terrorist by the United States and sanctioned by the United Nations, disputed the military’s account of the Gombe clashes, claiming that his fighters overran troops and freed insurgents from prison. No fewer than six people amongst them were suspected members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) including asmhatic patients reportedly feared dead with several others injured in a stampede at the APC’s presidential campsign/rally held at the Ramat Square, Maiduguri, the Borno state capital.
Our Correspondent who was in the entourage of governor Shettima reports that six people were killed during the uncoordinated visit, as the governor had since visited the victims at the hospital.

The rally which was well attended on Saturday by the APC presidential Candidate, General Mohammed Buhari, his running mate, Professor Yemi Asibanjo, Governor Kashim Shettima, state and national candidates of the APC, party stalwarts and thousands of its supporters thronged the streets as early in the morning, while many others had jump over the fence to venue of the rally amidst tight security.
Our Correspondent observed that, due to closure of gates leading to the venue by security operatives, all the four gates were later broken down by some rampaging youths, even as many had to scale through the fence to welcome the general.
Sources said, the five people killed were two asmhatic patients who were trapped in the stampede at the venue, while others died as a results of accident and a stray bullet fired by security operatives while controlling crowded that attempted to burnt down PDP offices in the state.
Also the PDP Campaign office of ex- governor Ali Modu Sheriff located few metres to the venue of the rally along Kashim Ibrahim Way was set ablaze by APC thugs who overpowered security operatives after breaking the gate and threw explosives inside.
Many PDP campaign centres located at strategic positions in the city of Maiduguri were vandalized with posters and bill boards were also destroyed by hired APC thugs during the visit.
Likewise, four people who claimed to be members of Civilian JTF were shot by security operatives while attempting to stop two trucks loaded with military arms and ammunitions that were entering the town. Sources and residents said, the trucks were intercepted around Umar Shehu General Hospital in Bulumkutu of the metropolis and when the security men attached with the trucks insisted that the arms and ammunitions belonged to military operatives, the youths refused to heed to their explanations, a situation that led to disagreement which resulted to shooting of the four youths.
Our Correspondent also gathered that one of the youths that were shot died before reaching hospital for treatment due to excessive bleeding.
It was also gathered that at the venue of the rally, sporadic gunshots, including a sustained firing by the Military Armoured Personnel Carrier and tear gas engulfed the venue of the rally all in an attempt to control the crowd.
General Buhari who stormed the venue of the rally at 1:30pm could not address the uncontrolabble crowd, who started vandalizing Channels cables, stole their cameras which led to the instant cut off of the live coverage.
Our Correspondent observed that General Buhari had to be sneaked out of the venue to Government House, Maiduguri where he was expected to have indoor meeting with some Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) officials in the state

Contrary to rumors that went viral about late actor Muna Obiekwe's state of health and what actually led to his death, the real truth has been revealed. In an interview during Muna's burial on the 3rd of February at his hometown, here's what Muna's step sister, Chinwe Obiekwe, said about her brother's sudden death:
Muna was sick from October last year, 2014. It wasn't a normal kidney failure, rather a kidney failure that was prompted by high blood pressure and caused his two kidneys to suddenly fail. A high BP that was due to stress from his very busy schedule, always been
on set, and not having enough time to take his drugs properly. His family was taken unawares as he had been going for dialysis, his uncles abroad had even planned to come back to Nigeria so they can give him a transplant before Muna died that fateful Sunday.

When asked why Muna didn't seek public help or speak out publicly about his ill health, Chinwe said Muna is a private person. And again, his family was capable and very ready to take care of him. So there was practically no need for the announcement.

A pissed off Chinwe later questioned the people who have been saying they would have helped if only Muna had cried out. She said: ''What was their contribution during the burial? I will say this - ''Bleep them''!''
