Thanks for the help boss, I finally talked with someone who had the recovery backup and I watched YouTube tutorial on how to flash it and everything went well, I'm so happy right now

Yeah..

Its actually a system update, requesting that you should upgrade your current version to the newest one recommended on your device, which is Nougat os.

It help to fix bugs, correct some minor issues and make your phone work more efficiently during usage.

fix bugs indeed, na so one of my Sis did d so-called "update" then her fone stopped ringing out, I modified settings tire, googled d problem, checked d thread here on NL for similar issue...long story short I had to factory reset the device before it came to normal

that's the problem, no where to get other user's backup (some can't even go through d stress of d backup or interested in it sef)

Hi, pls I need help: I tried to install TWRP (custom recovery) on my mt6592 device (running android 5.1) using TWRP Magic Installer exe (Auto mode) on pc (though I read and watched lots of YouTube tutorial but little did I know that the process works for only Android 4.4 and below). So the process was "successful" and when I tried to reboot into the recovery, all I get is 3 flashes and then it boots normal back to start up.

The good side is my boot.img isn't damaged

* the Auto process made a stock recovery backup of my device and

* my fone is still displaying in MTK Droid Tools + I struggled to make a ROM backup using MTK Droid Tools and SP Flash Tool(which wasn't eazy atol).

- The bad side is I don't have a working recovery to wipe my fone data and etc

- I am not sure which recovery I have in the ROM backup coz I used the TWRP installer (manual mode) to install the so-called recovery "backup" and it still didn't revert to the old one

- and my backup isn't fully completed (the backup to be done using root on MTK droid tools becos my device couldn't get root there: it kept displaying 2 errors - I don't remember d 1st now, d 2nd says adbd file is not installed

Now to the last part, I have all the necessary files installed and I have been reading (xda & h o v a T E K forums) on how to undo, fix and etc all to no avail (I can't believe a single solution wasn't suggested), anyway to make the case worse my device is one of those unpopular brands. It's called mi-tribe a500s, I bought it on Konga and all the speca matches Infinix zero 1 (x506) except for the os and mine is 2gb RAM.

MY questions are these: how can I restore the stock recovery?

if not possible how can i reset the device without falling into the "useless" recovery mode (hence making my device beyond resuscitation/resurrection?

is it possible to flash a similar stock recovery via adb fastboot into the phone (cos I still have the option to select what to boot (unlocked bootloader)?

is there any hope at all?

pls I will really really really appreciate any form of help rendered by all the gurus in da house.

I misplaced my phone so I decided to get another one, I came to Nairaland and saw someone mention Camon C9 plus and when I checked it out, I was enticed by the 3Gig Ram and 32Gig Rom.
I ordered the phone from jumia on tuesday but all of a sudden, I feel I may not like the phone, pls anyone who is using or has used the phone before should just come tell me a little about the phone, i'm expecting the phone on tuesday and I don't want to carry this attitude till then cos I might just dump the phone.

I think i am in serious shit now. My sim is 4G enabled for Glo. It's not browsing at all but it works well with airtel.. Could it be the 4G blocking it? Glo is fast in my area..

Fellow nairalanders, I greet y'all.
I ordered for a 32G memory card on jumia on Sunday, the following day I got an email that I should go to their ojota pick up station and pick up my I oder up.
I went there the following day, I got the package and paid but when I got home, after testing it I found out that it is totally corrupted. I formatted it but it still wasn't good. In fact, all the documents I tried moving to it got corrupted. I was more than heart broken to say the least.
I have gone back to the pick up station and complained but the guy said there's nothing he can do about it. He only asks me to call jumia which I tried but the line is not functional. I have also contacted them on Facebook, sent them emails and all yet no response. People I have told about these, have recounted to me their regretful experience with jumia.
I'm now regretting it too. This is my first time of patronizing them. I was only wooed by their black Friday offer.

Please I need suggestions from you all on how to get my money back or get a replacement
I'll also appreciate it if you give me info on how to fix the card.

I know the feeling bro, rule number of shopping on Jumia: NEVER BUY MEMORY CARDS ONLINE!

Go to a store, ask for what you want then check for authenticity marks then pay. On the other hand why couldn't you use trusted agents who are dime a dozen on Nairaland here to place the order: becos it will save you the headache of returns.

Lastly always check the item ratings and if the item you are buying has return policy, though "Jumia" is unaware of d scam but they do have the responsibility to vet every Tom, Dick and Harry seller on their site.

this your game sef,is it a mission game or arena oriented.

The whole game is steered toward mission-like stuffs called quest but inside the game you can't move forward or backward just left and right then aim and shoot.

It has stages (easy, medium, hard and the higher you go the harder it gets) then you face a boss with few bodyguards but there is also a survival mode called wave. Each stage has its rewards (in gold and dollars which you can use to buy guns, a body armour then upgrade them.

That's pretty much how the game is
