You should also mention that the labour leader at the time is today a stalwart of the ruling party. Adams Oshiomhole. So your blame should be directed at him. |
Half a trillion naira is not enough for the Army? Sell the country and give them the proceeds or hand over the entire national budget to them. Nonsense and ingredients. |
GreatResearcher:FALSE REASONING BECAUSE YOU DID NOT ACCOUNT FOR THE WATER THAT CAME FROM UNDER THE EARTH. THE GENESIS ACCOUNT OF NOAH'S FLOOD SAYS THAT THE FOUNTAINS OF THE DEEP WERE BURST OPEN. |
LifestyleTonite:Mtcheeew! They should have put AC inside the 6feet as well. |
You can hardly build anything of note for that 11.4 million especially, if you don't already own a plot of land and have to include the cost of purchase. I advise you to take advantage of this one in a lifetime opportunity to invest in some fundamentally sound stocks with many at really low prices right now. You do not even have to restrict yourself to the NSE as there are apps that allow you to invest in US and China stocks |
Tissaia:I want to believe you made this statement in jest. If otherwise, I'd be devastated, because I like you. |
JAMO84:Spoken by someone who doesnt know jack. President Idris Derby Itno has been in the thick of the offensive since last week. He vowed that he will not leave that region until he avenges the death if 91 chadian soldiers. And see the result! This is effective and inspiring leadership, the sort we are seriously lacking in Nigeria, unfortunately. |
It is obvious that this man does not understand anything about economics. First of all, the US dollar will pay a price for all the new dollar bills that will be printed. Over time, the dollar will tend to lose its value. But then, the US economy will still survive it because of several advantages; they are the NO 1 producers in the world and the dollar remains the NO 1 currency of international trade. So other nations will still seek the dollar and this will counteract the potential loss of value that would come from this bout of quantitative easing. Nigeria can not go the same route except we want to go the way of Zimbabwe or Venezuela. This is because we do not produce anything of value, we virtually import everything we consume. That means should our govt print more naira, it would result in an inflation better imagined. This is because all that naira would be used by nigerians to pursue dollars which are already relatively scarce. This would crash the value of the naira. The only way out of the looming economic crash is for us as a matter of urgency to cut down the cost of governance, encourage Nigerians to shun their acquired tastes for imported products and services and diversify our economy into areas like mining. |
All these rumours and speculations is a direct result of the very poor handling of your illness by yourself and your handlers. You are president of Nigeria, so therefore it behoves on you to adequately inform Nigerians of any illness on your part. But this was sorely lacking. Till date there is no adequate explanation for your illness and your current health status. Don't blame any body but your self. |
Gosj01:How can a laptop be perfect and at the same time cheap? |
GudluckIBB:Most meaningful comment I have read in Nairaland all year. It captures my thinking on the way forward for Naija: Punishing bad leadership by voting them out and rewarding good leadership by votinh for them again. In 2019, we must vote Buhari and his APC out and try Atiku and his PDP. If they too fail to perform, we show them the door in 2023. |
LIKE YOU BA? Bossontop: |
You all need to understand that the road: Makurdi -- Gboko Road is a federal road. Ortom was under no obligation to repair this road. It is Buhari's responsibility. He should be praised not vilified for doing so. |
I am trying to open an online brokerage account to invest in US stocks but to my dismay, I find that Nigeria is not in the list of available countries. What can i do? |
