Culture / How Masturbation Can Affect Someone Positively And Negatively by Sabiupdates: 6:51am On Jun 11, 2020
In my Understanding or Definition of the word “Masturbation”. It means when one stimulates his Genitals with Sexual Pleasure to reach Orgasm.

A lot of people in the Society today are into Masturbation, not because they hardly find his/her sexual opposition to engage in Sexual Activities. but because they have fell addicted to it.

A lot, are now afraid of it not because they wanna stop but Because the society says that it demonic, it’s causes poverty ETC.

Some has also stated that Masturbation is not advisable, but you know they will never admit that they are into Genitals Self-Stimulation which is Masturbation. Yes, alot of people are into it, many pastors, Politicians and Co. but they will come publicly and speak against it.

Do we know that Many homes are into tears today because they can’t satisfy their spouses as a result of Masturbation. There are lot of women, without It, they can’t reach orgasm, same with the men. And it will look like they’re unable to satisfy their Spouses.

90% of people who are into far distance Relationships/Marriage are Masturbating.

To my own Understanding Masturbation is not Evil as it was tagged. Addiction is the only Evil part of it. Ofcourse everything that you are addicted to is very Bad. Even the Bible says that Too much of everything is bad. I prefer you masturbate than Cheating on your Partner only if you can’t afford #Vibrator nor Control your sexual urge. You are free to help yourself out by stimulating your Sexual organs.

Culture / What You Must Know About Muammar Gadafi And How He Served Libya by Sabiupdates: 4:12pm On Jun 01, 2020
Fallen Libyan leader, Muammar Gaddafi, was born in 1942, near Sirte. A son of an itinerant Bedouin farmer. Gaddafi was brilliant in School and soon graduated from the University of Libya in 1963.

He graduated from the Libyan military academy in 1965 and swiftly rose through the ranks.

Unimpressed with King Idrīs’ rule and the dominance of foreign nationals like Italians and Jews in the country, Gaddafi with other officers planned the overthrow of the monarch.

On September 1, 1969, Gaddafi and his men took over the country in a bloodless coup. He was commander-in-chief of the armed forces and chairman of Libya’s new governing body, the Revolutionary Command Council (RCC). Culture / An Indonesian Law That Will Shock You by Sabiupdates: 3:50pm On Jun 01, 2020
In Indonesia, when you’re a Black native of West Papua, they can call you “monkey” and when you protest against that you can be imprisoned for treason.

That’s what happened with 5 West Papuans who, together with an Indonesian socialist ally, have been sentenced to prison for 8 – 9 months, in the middle of a pandemic.

Ambrosius Mulait
Ariana Elopere
Dano Tabuni
Charles Kossay
Isay Wenda
Surya Anta

Known as the Jakarta Six, the defendants have all been imprisoned because they participated in nationwide protests against racism against West Papuans and demanded the right to self-determination.

Mass protests turned into riots and clashes in August last year after a racist incident in Surabaya, where a building housing West Papuan students was stormed by police over not respecting the Indonesian flag and a far-right mob surrounded the building shouting

Culture / How The Four Market Days In Igbo Land Originated by Sabiupdates: 6:25am On May 23, 2020
Market days in Igbo land are very significant that the four market days, Eke, Orie, Afo and Nkwo are uniformly observed within every community in Igbo land. It was during the reign of Eze Njiriofor 1(1300-1390AD), the fifth Eze Nri, in the line of succession that the Igbo tradition of four market days was instituted.

According to Igbo historical records, one day, during the reign of Eze Njiriofor 1, four wise strangers came to visit him at his palace. When they arrived, these four men pretended to be deaf and dumb. They did not say their names or their mission to Nri kingdom.

They were welcomed by the King of Nri. When it’s about to get dark, one of the servants in the palace, who was under the instructions of the King led them to the visitors chambers, where they would pass the night.

Later the King of Nri went to their chambers with kolanuts for discussion but the visitors didn’t utter a word nor accepted his kolanuts.

The king out of curiosity consulted his native doctor, who devised a way of getting the names of the said visitors.

Religion / The Mythological Concept Of "Chi" In Igbo Naming System And Proverbs. by Sabiupdates: 1:19am On May 22, 2020
"Chi" in Igbo mythology is not the sky God, Chukwu is. "Chi" is a spark of Chukwu he put in human upon creation which will lead one to fulfill his destiny on earth.

"Chineke" original was not an Igbo name of a supernatural being, but the name of Christian God or God of the Bible. Igbo Worldview, religion and beliefs are different from the Christian view of creation. I wrote something few days ago according to Igbo mythology, someone was quoting Bible for me. Ọga I know it is different from Bible, the writeup said: "according to Igbo mythology and not according to Bible". Remember, we are unraveling our history. For scholarship sake, learn first why your name is what it is.

When the missionaries arrived to Igbo land in the early 19th century, they understood the Igbo worship and beliefs. Ndị Igbo already believed there is a supernatural being who made the heaven and Earth. He dwells in the sky. There are other minor messengers you can offer your prayers to which in turn they will deliver to the supernatural being, Chiukwu, Ezechiteoke Abịama, Obinigwe, Olisa, Ọbasị, etc.

The Missionaries did not teach ndi Igbo they met here that there was God. I think that believing in a supernatural being is natural. Without being told you will know that someone, somewhere made the earth and heaven. It is in our subconscious minds..

They wanted to translate the name of God in Igbo. Already they first condemned the traditional worshiping system of the Igbo. They knew that the Igbo believed in "Chiukwu". The supernatural being. To differentiate theirs, they called it "Chineke". The "Chi" that creates things. Remember, the Igbo new converts helped in such translation. Now Christendom say Chineke mostly, leaving Chukwu because it's for the pagans.

There are other borrowed names like "Ọbasị". It came from the Efik and Ibibio's "Abasị".

Now "chi" in Igbo mythology does not mean God, rather it is a spark or force the Igbo believe Chukwu put into every human. Each one is to choose whether he will want ezigbo Chi, or ajọ chi. Your decision in life determines whether your bad chi can change to good or remain that way. The western ideology believes in guardian angel. The "Chi" in Igbo belief is the same. It will guard you base on your choice in life. When you have good chi, they said: " o nwere chi ọma", that is how the name : Chiọma came to be. Another one is: "Chi ya dị mma", that is how Chidịmma came to be. "Chi ya amaka" is Chiamaka.

The following Igbo names are example of this:
Chiọma
Chidimma
Chima
Chiadịkaobi
Chimamkpam
Chibụeze
Chidubem
Chinedum
Chiamaka
Chinasaramokwu
Chidaalụ, etc.

When I see people interpreting Chiọma as Good God, well I am not saying it's not good but that is not actually the meaning. These names as far as they are Igbo names have cultural and mythological undertones. Only when you know the history, etymology of them, you will understand.

PROVERBS

In Igbo proverbs, the use of chi cannot be overemphasized. These proverbs will help you understand what I have explained above. Chi in Igbo belief is a personal guardian force created by Chiukwu to help you achieve your destiny. Twins cannot have the same chi. Hence you hear something like:

* Onye na Chi ya

* Gị na chi gị mewe

*Otu nne na-amụ mana otu chi adịghị eke

* Chi abụ otu

* Onye chi ya kwọ n'azụ, ụkwụ adịghị akpụ ya

* Onye chi ya akwatughị, mmadụ agaghị akwatụ ya

* Chi nwaogbenye adịghị arahụ ụra

* Ụbọchị onye ajọ chi ji arị achụnta ka mgbada ji arị elu

* O nwere Chi ọma

* O nwere Chi ọjọọ

* Chi m agaghị ekwe ka ihe ọjọọ mee m.

Why do you think the Igbo personalise "chi" like chi m dị mma, Chi m ajụ, chi m agaghị ekwe ka ihere mee m?

Language is spiritual. Lol. You don't believe it but you are carrying it out. Your words, names interpret this spiritual aspect of language that goes with a cultural belief system, consciously or unconsciously.

But everyone with chi has Chinnukwu, Chiukwu that created all. When one dies according to the Igbo mythology, his chi goes to the maker in the sky while he joins his ancestors. His chi will solicit whether he will reincarnate or not. If he is reincarnating, he will come with another chi. This is explained in these Igbo sayings:

" M bịawa ụwa ọzọ, m nwee chi ọma". "Ụwa m ọzọ ụwa ọma na chi m".

Funny, we say all these things not knowing their meanings. Hahaha.

Politics / A Brief On Isaac Adams Boro And The Course He Led by Sabiupdates: 9:34am On May 21, 2020
Major Isaac Jasper Adams Boro ( September 10, 1938 - May 9, 1968 ).
He was a brave man, a man that loved and care for his people.
We will not allow this social media miscreants to change Adaka Boro story.

The first Armed Rebellion against the federal republic of Nigeria was initiated and implemented by Adaka Boro.

Igbo man was the President of Nigeria, when Adaka Boro led an armed protect against the exploitation of oil and gas resources in the Niger Delta Areas.
The Igbo government were using the natural resources of Niger Delta to develop Southeast, with Capital in Enugu and nothing was given to the Niger Niger Delta people.

Adaka Boro wanted the people of Niger Delta to control a larger share of proceeds of their own oil wealth.
On February 23, 1966, they declared the Niger Delta Republic. They fought the forces for twelve days before they were defeated.

President ( Aguyi Ironsi ) sentenced Adaka Boro to death and jailed his followers for Treason.
The military Government of General Yakubu Gowon granted Adaka Boro amnesty on the eve of the Nigerian civil war in may 1967.
That is the reason why Adaka Boro fought on the side of the Federal government of Nigeria against Biafra people during the War.
But was killed by Nigeria army under mysterious circumstances in 1968.

Romance / Six Mates You Should Marry by Sabiupdates: 7:28am On May 21, 2020
One of the ways your marriage will not add to the rate of divorce in our world today is for you to marry your mate and if you are married already, make your spouse your mate!
You see that statement of ' Am I your mate?' does not apply in marriage. You must marry your mate. I will like to talk on seven dimensions you and the person you want to marry or you have married must be mate.

1. *MARRY_YOUR_SPEAKING_MATE* Marry someone you can speak together and understand each other. Communication is very crucial in marriage. Don't marry someone that, when you are saying 'A' he or she will be saying ' Z' Once there is dichotomy in your speaking and understanding level, you can't enjoy that marriage. So many men go to bar to hang out with friends and gist till 11pm because they know their wives can't engage in any meaningful intellectual discussion. So many women too prefer to hang out with their friends, because they know their husbands mentality when it comes to vital issues and discussions is very low. Marry your speaking Mate.

2. *MARRY_YOUR_SCHOOL_MATE*
By this I mean, marry someone you can learn together and improve together. Don't marry ' Mr Know all' or 'Miss Know all'. Don't marry someone who is rigid and not open to new ideas, new ways of doing things, or new innovations. Marriage is a great institution. From day one till death do you part, you will keep learning. Marry your 'school' mate; someone who is ready to learn with you.

3. *MARRY_YOUR_SPIRITUAL_MATE*: Marriage is not just a social union. It is also a spiritual union. Marry someone who knows the same God you know. Don't marry someone who's believe of God is different from yours. Two can't work together except they be agreed ( Amos 3:3, Joshua 23: 11-15, 2 Corinthians 6:14-18). The spiritual controls the physical, even in marriage. Check for spiritual compatibility in that person you want to marry.

4. *MARRY_YOUR_SPENDING_MATE* Don't marry someone who is stingy. There are so many expenses to cater for in marriage. A stingy guy in courtship won't suddenly become a generous husband in marriage. Don't marry a lady that has the financial philosophy of ' My husband's money is our money, but my money is my money'. Marry someone who believes in dignity of labour , who is ready to work, not a lazy fellow who just want to be a consumer and not a contributor. Marry someone who is ready to spend and be spent for the growth and success of the family.

5. *MARRY_YOUR_SEX_MATE* Marry someone you have sexual feelings for. Sexual feeling is not a sin. It is an instinct God put in every person. Sex plays a major role in the success of any marriage. Any man you don't have emotional feelings for, don't marry the person. If you don't have emotional feelings for that lady, leave her alone. A spiritual being is also a sexual being. No matter how spiritual you both may be in your marriage, you won't be praying for 24 hours in a day. You won't be reading the Bible or worshipping God 24/7. You will have sex! You will romance! You will flirt with each other! You will make babies. So, marry someone you can connect with sexually. It will help you to enjoy your marriage so much!

6. *MARRY_YOUR_SOCIAL_MATE*: Don't marry someone you won't be proud to go out with. Don't marry someone you will be feeling shy to introduce to people with boldness. Marry someone you are comfortable to hang out with. Marry someone you are socially compatible with. Don't marry an anti- social person.
You might be wondering if you can find all the 'mates' in one person. Yes! The answer is YES! You don't need to marry 6 guys/ladies to have all these mates. One person can be all that for you. If you also work on yourself and build your life, you can be all that for the guy/lady that will marry you.
The promise of God for you is this : 'Seek and read from the book of the LORD: Not one of these shall be missing; none shall be without her mate. For the mouth of the LORD has commanded, and his Spirit has gathered them.' (Isaiah 34:16).
Say it loud and clear ' I shall not lack a mate!'
I hope this blessed someone reading?

Politics / The Role Played By The French During The Nigerian Civil War(biafran War) by Sabiupdates: 4:13pm On May 20, 2020
The Nigerian civil war broke out on 6 July, 1967. The beginning of the war was described by the Federal government of Nigeria as a “police action” meant to arrest leaders of a rebellion (the Biafran regime), which was later to metamorphose into a full fledged war. Both parties engaged in propaganda activities designed to win the support of the outside world, consequently leading to the internationalization of the conflict.

The French got involved in the war when Britain refused to withdraw its support from the federal military government of Nigeria.

The French backed the Biafran side on 31st July 1968. Biafra was almost on her knees by 1968, when France intervened (Jorre, 1972). And it is arguable that had France not come in on the side of the Biafrans during this period, Biafra would have collapsed and the war ended in 1968 as France was the only notable power that provided military hardwares to Biafra through Ivory Coast and Gabon.A note released by the French government states one of the reasons why the French backed the Biafran side.

Read below;

“The French government notes that the bloodshed and sufferings endured for over a year by the populations of Biafra have demonstrated their will to affirm themselves as a people… faithful of its principles, the French government considers that as a result, the present conflict should be resolved on the basis of the right of a people to self – determination involving setting in motion the appropriate international procedure to this end”

Culture / Africa’s Slave Trades And How It Resulted To High Level Of Ethnic Division by Sabiupdates: 4:28am On May 16, 2020
Between 1400 and 1900, the African continent experienced four simultaneous slave trades. The largest and most well-known is the trans-Atlantic slave trade where slaves were shipped from West Africa, West Central Africa and Eastern Africa to the European colonies in the New World.

During the trans-Atlantic slave trade alone, approximately 12 million slaves were exported from Africa. This figure does not include those who were killed during the raids or those who died on their journey to the coast.

Africa’s slave trades, unlike previous slave trades, individuals of the same or similar ethnicity enslaved one another. The most common manner in which slaves were taken was through villages or states raiding one another

The conflict between communities, caused by the external demand for slaves, resulted in conflict within communities. Because of the general environment of uncertainty and insecurity at the time, individuals required weapons, such as spears, iron knives, swords or firearms, to defend themselves. These weapons could be obtained from Europeans in exchange for slaves, which were often obtained through local kidnappings. This further perpetuated the slave trade and the insecurity that it caused, which in turn further increased the need to enslave others to protect oneself

The slave trades weakened ties between villages, they also discouraged the formation of larger communities and broader ethnic identities. Therefore, the slave trades may be an important factor explaining Africa’s high level of ethnic fractionalization today.

find out how to discover your true religion here>>>
Religion / How To Discover Your “TRUE RELIGION” by Sabiupdates: 2:27pm On May 15, 2020
Religion has become a topic of interest to so many people and Someone may be wondering how can I possibly discover my TRUE RELIGION.

Before I delve into the topic I want you to recall the meaning of religion; Religion is "The body of persons adhering to a particular set of beliefs and practices"

Religion is a set of rules designed by an individual or a group of people to guild their ways of lives.

In this article, I will explain how most religions were formed and the original intention of the founders and I will also explain how to find your “TRUE RELIGION”.

Discovering your “TRUE RELIGION” is one of the most awesome experiences an individual can encounter in a life time.

I once ran into a Christian who said he was once a Muslim. This means this individual discovered his “TRUE RELIGION” and it matched the lifestyle of Christians,so he joined the Christians and adapted to their religious practices.

A brief on the life of two religious founders is cited below, the life of Jesus Christ and Siddhattha Gotama.

Jesus Christ was a first-century Jewish preacher and religious leader. He is the central figure of Christianity. Most Christians believe he is the incarnation of God the Son and the awaited Messiah (the Christ) prophesied in the Old Testament of the Bible.

During his existence,a lot of people believed in him and decided to work with him and gradually his words and principles spread across the globe, similar story could be traced down to the founder of Buddhism.

The Buddha also known as Siddhattha Gotama or Siddhārtha Gautam was a philosopher, mendicant, meditator, spiritual teacher, and religious leader who lived in ancient India He is revered as the founder of the world religion of Buddhism.

He taught for around 45 years and built a large following, both monastic and lay, His teaching is based on his insight into duḥkha.
A closer look at the two stories cited above would tell you that various religions practiced in our society today were formed by an individual or a group of people.

These individuals were able to build these religions according to their believes and practices.

The story of siddhartta Gautama(founder of Buddhism)shows that he got some of his principles from duhkha which can be translated as suffering.
These different religions all seem to worship a supreme being (GOD) guilded by the principles of an individual or a group of people, most religions often worship in the presence of the image of the “founder of the religion” which most people refer to as religious doctrines.

Before these religions were introduced to Africans,a lot of African homes worshiped the same Supreme being through different traditional believes and ethics.

But they were not exposed enough to write their principles in a readable form.

Various religious founders did not spread their believes across the globe in one day…they practiced with their families and gradually spread to their neighbors.Their principles were based on their discovery of their “True Religion”.

Every human knows what’s good and bad,we know what’s good to stick to as long as it works for us.

This brings us to the discovery of ones “TRUE RELIGION”

Your “TRUE RELIGION” is built around the principles that guilds your day to day life and activities.

A lot of people have found out that they can no longer keep up with the believes and principles they grew with,so they built some set of new practices under the same religion and not as a new religion, and this has brought disunity and hate within many religions.

The original founders of the various religions we practice in our societies all believed in helping the world and they were good descriptions of “Love”
Religion was never meant to promote hate or violence.

A lot of people get the wrong concept of religion and never bothered to make any research about their religion.

Your TRUE RELIGION is built, nurtured within your principles and practices as an individual,If it’s worth emulating you’d notice your lifestyle in people around you and your neighbors follow suit.

You don’t necessarily need to be a healer or a preacher to discover your “TRUE RELIGION”…it’s the life you live everyday.
