there are exceptions to this triangle thing. Sometimes, coloration, vibrations or severe warning could tell if a snake is venomous or not. Most viper species have triangular heads. The blue krait and inland Taipan are the most poisonous snakes and they dont have triangle heads.

When you see snakes, kill or run! They don write venomous on the head. Btw. What OP killed is am African spitting cobra. Even without a bite, thespit could still cause harm.
