Dancebreaker: At least we went further than we have ever done in a decade. Bassey and entire defence was under too much pressure. Ndidi was an epic miss to SE. And then i remember, i should have said Nigeria has never played this type of defensive football at AFCON. In the 2002 World cup , i remember we crumbled under this same pressure. Though i must give it to the players we had back then. They played better despite meeting a classic Argentinian team. |

Dancebreaker: Osimhen did not look too fit.
Simon should have started to run behind CIV defence like Adingra did to us. Osimhen was starved of ball.
CIV played sound football and deserved their win. Sure Ivory Coast deserved their win. The Coach's formation and tactics prioritized Defense in place of attack. The midfield was basically not existent and that meant Osimhen was stranded forward. Nigeria has never played this kind of defensive football. We are used to a 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 formation. |

The dude is average. Pure and simple.
Defenders of all hue were bullying him front and back...
One goal in 7 matches tell the whole story... I gave you facts and stats and you tagged me being emotional. Your response to my post would have been worth it if you had faulted my points. |

maestroferddi: You dont know jack about football or else you would have seen that Osimhen was a waste of space...
He couldnt press, he couldnt track back, he couldnt make any good run...
Of course, he couldnt score or lay an assist...
Dude is an average, one season forward....
Real Madrid go dey laugh.... One season forward because you are ignorant of Osimehn's career history! He was the highest goal scorer in the qualifiers. Just check through Nigeria's progress from the group stage to the semi finals and see most of our goals came directly or indirectly from his play. Two PK scored by Ekong were won by him. He had two goals ruled out by VAR. The last one because of a foul by teammate Yusuf. In the final yesterday, there was literally no chance created by anyone to him. Most long balls played towards his directions were poor and many were far from opponents box. Like i said, most of you criticizing Osimehn are armchair analysts. |

Davidblen: India government has established over 100 rice mills and agro manufacturing factories to subsidize food prices
Despite sanctions from the West, The russian populace is still standing because they plant and produce the grains they eat and the Russian government still subsidized the grains for its citizens and the European union is still suffering the after effect ever since Russia banned food exports
Why cant a country like Nigeria have the same? , Nigeria has more population than Russia or are they people holding down this country as a result of sabotage
The IMOTA rice mill has been sabotaged to not produce its full capacity, they barely produce enough to sell
We need revolution If only Rice mills and Agricultural industries can be built with tribalism and ethnicity, Nigeria would have had many. |

Tareq1105: That's our consolation bcoz we never expected them to get to final if not I would have sent some harsh words to Osimeh, Chukweze, Aina, and Nwobi. They ruined the game. Those of you criticizing Osimehn are armchair football analysts who knows nothing about football. |

Wotowotoman: I will be very surprised if Osimhen gets a top club after his performance in this tournament. Nobody is talking about his work rate. We know he works hard for the team. But at the end of the day, a striker’s job is to score goals. Look at Haller. Give him half a chance, he scores. That’s a striker. How many balls did Osimehn get as a striker? How many chance were created by Nigerian midfield for Osimehn to score? |

Yes, iwobi was very terrible in that midfield.
He gifts the opposition easy balls and put his own team in emergency mode.
Iwobi should start from the bench. |

Throwback: The next step is to outlaw forex processing for foreign education for a minimum of 10yrs.
Any Nigerian that wants to be educated abroad should look for the money abroad.
We have schools here that can take those huge amounts of Naira we employ to buy forex for UK or American or Canadian education.
We need to jump-start our tertiary education system with better infrastructure, improved quality of education, improved salaries, and improved school fees.
Tough times require tough measures. And the Buhari you supported wasted tax payers money in British pounds accessing medical tourism in London. The Tinubu you are currently defending is also spending scarce forex to recharge himself in France. Are there no hospitals in Nigeria? What about the ones they budget and spend billions on every year? Zombieism is a disease |

Nigeria didn't win the match in full-time, so you unfortunately lost. |

With or without him if Nigeria can win the cup or lose the cup They are schooling your ignorance and you are still being arrogant. Osimehn is equal to two or more opposition players. Crafteck1: Why is the truth triggering una like this, the characters more pronounced in some regions than other regions, in the east for example with too much pressure being brought from parents and community young men are very desperate for money, lots of drug movers, kidnappers, get rich quick schemes, west is more of occultic killings cos of the high number of babalawos, north has the menace of religion, religious killings and blind followership, so many idol hands ready to do the devils bidding in the name of their God, though se of us feel any religion that asks you to dish out what you cant take is false religion... Why dont you carry megaphone and start shouting all the vices associated with different regions in Nigeria? So we know you like shouting truth.
