Most people recommend Union and Zenith. Union wasted my time only to turn me down 5days after i have completed their formA and fulfilled all that is necessary. They claimed my statement of result is notification of final exam and not the required statement of result. They also requested for a breakdown of how the cash will be used or something like that.

I later funded with FormA from Zenith bank since 22nd of August, account debited on 30th of August. Yet to get confirmation. Others in the house with better idea/advice/opinion please help out.

And a question please, does it aways take this long?
ps. I used Fintiba

And before using any bank, make sure the banker attending to you knows exactly what he/she is doing, most bankers don't know much about "blocked account".

Thanks for your reply, but the school is asking for Secondary school Certificate and Transcript. I am thinking Waec is the certificate, but what do I tender as transcript?

If you are based in Nigeria, Sorry 2 be the one to break this to you this early morning.

No chances of meeting up since the Embassy is no more granting appointment dates. So just Enroll yourself & Defer your Admission.

But if you are in a foreign land, try to reach out to the German Embassy over there to book an appointment for Student VISA.

For Finitiba. Start first and when you're stucked, come back here to ask. Am sure we will be here to help u out.

You will be given form A to fill and a plain sheet to write a formal letter authorizing the bank to debit your account and credit your fintiba/Deutsch bank account with the required Euro.....

So i wrote the e-mail below to the German federal foreign office and got this response:

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your e-mail. Please be informed that the German Consulate General is booked out until October 10th 2017. Due to the fact that the processing time of a student visa takes up between 5 and 6 weeks, students will not be able to meet up with the enrolment deadlines at their respective universities. We deeply regret not being able to grant appointments to all prospective students. However, we would like to point out that students who cannot be granted an appointment for the winter semester 2017/2018 are welcome to contact the Consulate again in November or December concerning available appointments for the summer semester 2018 if they can provide a valid admission letter.

I believe the message was forwarded to the Lagos embassy for a response because it was replied from Walter Carrington address of the Embassy in Nigeria.
I am sincerely tired and don't know what else to do.

If u re new here, go back to chater 3 and read d last 50 pages slowly, u'd be well guided den other questions can be answered. But as for now, just wait to be admitted first.
