PS: in this Biz, find out what works for you. I started with Geo, did lots of outbound and no sale. Got tired & switched to Brandable.

I prefer to sit and wait for a sale, rather than aggressively searching for a buyer. It doesn't mean I have stopped looking for names i can quickly flip.

I have also done alot of sales on BB slack channels. Unregistered names that were rejected on SH but accepted on BB. I sell them off as unregistered. Not much but when the turn over is much plus conversion to Naira. then it's worth something.

it's a two way scenario, if you have up to 5names with them they will reg it instantly, if otherwise it will take a while... when did you submit the names?

Beckplanet said i should inform the house that his account was banned twice by nairaland mods while trying to make a post on "The Brandable Niche" as he promised the house.
The first ban was on Friday and the second ban just this morning after serving the first 3 days Ban.
2nd Ban will end 3 days from today.

Suspected Reasons for the ban

1. Post might be considered too long by Mods
2. Post might have contained some dot com links (Which have been corrected before the second ban)

Going Forward :

He ensured that he is still committed to making the post. If not with his account probably with this account if allowed to make post. Finally because of the length of the post he opined that post may be coming in parts.

Yeah, i chosed the USD($) option too. When you receive funds, your balance hows fund in USD ($). Then when you click on bank withdrawal They convert it depending on your bank rates.

But make sure your bank details are correct including the Swift Code. Once everything is set. It'll sure work out fine. It takes relatively 3-5 business days to receive fund when you initiate the payment process.

maybe you guys didn't submit your names as premium listing may be you choose basic listing which doesn't require approval. Because it normally takes 3days to approve names on SH.. imo

Lol buyer responded with "not interested anymore". Lol that reply shook me like needle, E pain me sha but i moved on. Fastfoward 2 months later, i decided to submit name for approval at Squadhelp after hearing they're the new sheriff in town. And boom name was accepted for $1799. I decided to list it there with other names. 3 months later name sold. Glory be to God .

Moral of the story : Sometimes it's good to have a lot of patience in this business. What you didn't sale today might still sale tomorrow for much more than you expected. Another lesson learnt is that if you have a name that once had an offer and it didn't work out well, hold it tight once there's an interest it means name is valuable and will definitely sale someday.
