PoliticsRe: Aljazeera Is Live-reporting Near The Fulani Cattle Market In Umunneochi, Abia by Sadwaste: 7:20am On Nov 20, 2023
Ottih must close down that market now! That place is not a market or settlement, rather it's a den of terrorists.

To even imagine that those bastards had the guts to deny involvement and even accused Ottih of ethnic profiling. If this were to be an Igbo settlement in the Muslim North and 80 decomposing bodies were found nearby, nobody will be left there now.

Close that terrorist den completely now and if Fulanis or Hausas want to live there, then let them move into the village and rent houses like normal human beings.

How fulani herdsmen claim to be cattle herders but these guys are full blown terrorists. They're also into massive kidnapping for ransom.

ESN managed to dislodge these terrorists from our forests but they retreated to their settlement where army provides them cover.

God, what sort of country is this. Imagine 80 innocent people they massacred. Some of them after collecting ransom!

They will never go free ultimately!!!

Ganduje is not really a weak man but he’s full of baggage and encumbrances that he can easily be taken out with a single court order.

I was telling Garfield1 this same thing that Tinubu is intentional in decimating the powers of the north.

He offered them a Greek gift and they fell for it.

In trying to dodge a bullet (Obi) they ran into land mines (Tinubu).

I’m not sorry for them at all.
Ganduje is never in the same pedigree with Kwankwaso. He lacks the followership in the North and does not have the clout to pursue presidential election nationally. Tinubu is carefully neutralizing those he knows could be a threat to him in 2027 while empowering those that are weak. The likes of Matawale, Nuhu ribadu, Ganduje etc.

Once El Rufai, Atiku and Kwankwaso are neutralized, I don't see any other Northern politician who can be a threat.

Lol, this one is just living in the past. Obasanjo was never nepotistic, he was a nationalist. Secondly, Obasanjo may have been a former military general but he was never Machiavellian. Tinubu is a bigot and must have employed top CIA specialists as private advisers.

Obasanjo won't have used Wike as FCT minister in order not to offend North, but Tinubu did it without minding your feelings. He is also activating other seemingly anti North policies without giving a hoot.

Tinubu is unmasking North completely but you're too naive to even see it. Where is El Rufai today? Kwankwaso will soon join him in exile while Atiku will be humiliated in PDP. Continue decieving yourself grin grin

Only kids without knowledge of Nigeria history will type trash about the North and it’s domininace of Nigeria

British gave power to the north till tomorrow.. not to west, east.. but North

For one Nigeria , and unity they allow .. south to power after 8 years and still retain kingmakers and power brokers in Nigeria

Op is still young..

The allegiance to anyone wins becomes the government of the day.. while they can chose to keep any of the south as wives and opposition

This power the south can’t have in a million years as long as Nigeria is concern

Obasnajo with his general uniform .. knee to beg Atiku and elders of the north for another term and yet in his Yoruba wisdom still install in his mind a puppet .. who turned to be a tiger ..

Tinubu must knee and beg at the right time..

His tribalism is being well documented by the north and his dealing with Yoruba cabal against the north is well received by the north

Is just a matter of time.. he come .. and those will be open before him

Mattawale .. Ganduje .. can’t and will never control Arewa .. for the have no loyalties..

As for industrialization.. when the rails are done .. in the north .. you will see those industries steaming back with Tribble force ..

The railway killed those industries ..

North still feed Nigeria till tomorrow .. una think say na those garden call farm for south.

This people are just hallucinating

Don't be decieved by the north. They are in with Tinubu and the south west. The ethnic bigotry is an agreed one in their fraternity coven. After Tinubu, another northern bigot will continue like wicked Buhari. FFK has already confessed that the north and south west have build an undefeatable alliance. The north is only being quiet waiting patiently for their turn to unleash their demonic agenda.
Forget FFK and his cheap rants. North actually underestimated Tinubu. They thought he was too sick and only desperate to be called president. They didn't see any of these coming. What do you think will be left if Tinubu rules for 8 years and maintains such anti North policies?

As it stands now, Northern politicians can't even imagine Tinubu staying on that seat for 8 years but they don't know how to stop him.

Those who leave in glass houses don't throw stones, I am still wondering if since after the February election the south still exists, power shifted to the south west and in the event of any reaction from the north, south west should defend themselves.
I really doubt if North can do anything now to stop Tinubu. Dude was fast and several steps ahead of them. They trusted Tinubu but he betrayed them. North can't confront Tinubu headlong without risking breaking up Nigeria. The last time Igboho challenged them after his release from Benin republic prison, didn't you see how timid their response was?

IPOB activities in the East has made the situation very dicy for them. To stop Tinibu, they would need a strong alliance with Igbos but unfortunately for them, they're not sure Igbos will want to align with them but instead might pull the rug from under their feet if things deteriorate badly and push for Biafra.

Except they decide to support someone like Obi fully to go against Tinubu.

In conclusion ? undecided
The core North has become endangered in the grand scheme of things. Tinubu gave them a Greek gift called Muslim-muslim ticket only to decimate them. Once Kwankwaso loses out in Kano and Wike humiliates Atiku out of PDP, then it's all over. Ganduje is a weak man and Tinubu is empowering him alongside other weak Northern politicians while sidelining the tough ones. Classic Machiavellian grin

By 2027, only Obi will be the only credible opposition left.

Northern Nigeria has been on a steady and fast decline both economically, politically and socially. The extent of its deterioration is so bad that it's happening within a generation.

Here are some examples of how the North has collapsed:

1. From the 1970's and up till late 1990's, Kano and Kaduna used to be the most industrialized states in Nigeria after Lagos. The textile factories, refineries, vehicle production, consumer goods, and agro processing etc have all closed down. Today, several Southern states have overtaken them. They include Ogun, Anambra, Oyo, Rivers and Abia states are now ahead of all Northern states in terms of industrial output.

2. There is nothing like One-North anymore. The middle belt states, particularly those with significant Christian population are no longer aligned with the North politically. They now either stand alone as Middle Belt or try to align with South.

3. North used to be famous for its vast agricultural output. The era of groundnut pyramids, cotton, hides and skin, as well as numerous cash and food crops is now gone. Sociopolitical upheavals and collosal insecurity has laid waste to it all. Many people are not even aware that some of the livestock and agricultural produce arriving in the South today are actually coming from other countries such as Chad, Niger and Burkina Faso.

4. Before, whenever North coughs, the entire country will catch cold. But not anymore, today, if they try to cough, others in the South will bang at the table for them to keep quiet. If they threaten violence, others in the South will threaten them with severe mutually assured destruction. Now, they can't threaten with military intervention/coup. They can't threaten with religious riots. The only method they're using now is fulani herdsmen but they too are receiving heavy push back in the South.

Tinubu understands this situation North has found itself, and that's why he is going all out against them without minding their feelings. Tinubu wouldn't have dared what he is doing to the North today, if it were still North of the 1970's to late 1990's. He wouldn't have dared install Wike as FCT minister. Neither would he have replaced Fulanis in strategic positions with Yorubas. At the same time, fuel is today far more expensive in the North than Lagos and most Southern states. He quickly humiliated and silwnced El Rufai before sending him on exile. Insults Buhari anyhow and is waiting to rubbish Atiku and Kwankwaso if they step out of line. Tinubu is Machiavellian, he is now using divide and conquer against the North by pitting them against MB and also against SS. Tinubu knows that Northern muslims are so unhappy that Wike is the FCT minister but he doesn't care. If they threaten Wike, militants and pressure groups in the SS will draw the battle line with muslim North. So, without having the middle belt on its side nor SS and Igbos, the core North has become isolated and Tinubu is now rallying Yorubas to go for their jugular.
