akanke79:
Russian President Vladimir Putin is due to inaugurate Moscow’s biggest mosque on Wednesday, September 23. President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev and President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas are due to attend the ceremony. Muslims make up roughly 14 percent of Russia’s population and about 300,000 of them live in Moscow. The new mosque, which will be the seventh in Moscow, is expected to help decongest other mosques in the city, which are inundated by the capital’s growing Muslim population.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Some Tough Interview Questions And Their Answers by sage10pm(m): 9:27pm On Sep 21, 2015
EduRegard:
Interview, a conversation between two or more people where questions are asked by the interviewer to elicit facts or statements from the interviewee. In this case, we are talking about job interviews, where the interviewee seems to be on a somewhat hot seat, seated patiently or impatiently to get bombarded with some unknown but probably predictable questions from the interviewer(s).
Sit back, take a cup of chilled juice or probably garri with rain water, then read along…

Tell me about yourself.
Mind you, the interviewer does not want to hear what is already on your resume. Job applicants fall into the trap of discussing what has being written on their resume. Do you think the interviewer would not go through your CV before calling you for an interview? Then why repeat lines? That means they know one or two things about you. Infact most times, the interviewer will have a copy of your CV with him as he/she interviews you. This is why it is not a very good time to repeat everything you have written on your CV. Use this opportunity to say something about how you fit into the job role or company. Use it as an opportunity to sell yourself.

What Are Your Weaknesses?
Most times, job applicants fall into the error of saying they have no weaknesses. Trust, the interviewer has heard it all a couple, if not million times.
Tell them of that weakness(es) you’re actively working on overcoming and you should be able to present to the interviewer how you’re working on it.
Mind you, do not project laziness as a weakness or a sickness record; no organization want to hire a lazy soul or headache-sufferer.
In addition, you can give your knowledge gap in the role you’re being interviewed for as a weakness and how you’re seriously working on developing the skill set to cover the gap.

Are you willing to relocate?
There is no rel answer between Yes or No. The right answer depends on what the job requirement is, and what the job description is. Does the job require that you travel a lot, then the right answer will be Yes. Even if it is not stated explicitly that you will be travelling, take a moment to think about the job you are applying for.

What accomplishment are you mostly proud of?
When interviewers ask these questions, they want to know what you hold dear. Flex your achievement muscles and tell them what you have done and proud of. If it’s really worth a nod, you will get it.

Tell us about your resume.
Even though the interviewer might probably have gone through your resume, here is an opportunity to brief going through your resume in a chronological order. Be brief and straight to the point. If there is a point you want to emphasize in your resume, here is the opportunity to sharply draw the recruiters attention to this point in your CV.

What are your salary requirements?
This is one of the most dreaded questions candidates do not want to answer. Either you are a die-hard job seeker or a fresher; you still have to give answer to this question. Fortunately there is no wrong or right answer. Charging too high might look greedy and charging too low might make you look desperate for the job. Whatever salary you are asking for, make sure it is reasonable, it is something you can defend and based on proper research carried out on companies and jobs of related niche.

Why do you need a new job?
Excuses like Low wages, Wicked boss, not conducive working environment, no appropriate compensation ; these are no-say statements to answer this kind of question. Rather talk about the new job role you want to fit in and why you are in love with it. If it is the same job, then talk about the new company and why you think their brand is great.

Who are our competitors?
This question is to let your prospective employer know if you have made research the company you want to work for and how well you know the brand. If you fail this question, it bespeaks your lack of preparation, insinuating that you are not taking the job too seriously. Before you attend any interview, you should not only research the company but also its niche.

Are you a leader or a follower?
Don’t play too smart by jumping at the option of being a leader. Calm your nerves and then selectively give an answer that is appropriate to the new role you are been interviewed for. The new role might be meant for followers and not leaders.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
What the interviewer simply wants to know here is if you have defined your career path and know what you want to be. No one is ready to hire a man without vision. Meanwhile, pass your boundary not, this is not the time to tell them you will be the MD of the company in 5 years time. Your interviewer will only probably turn out to be the MD of the company, you think he would employ someone who is ready to take over his job in 5 years time?

What are some of your leadership experiences?
You may not have held an important title but remember that time you were in the boy’s scout and you had to lead a team. Remember any task you have done as long as it is remotely connected to leadership role and emphasis how you were able to led the team.

Who’s your mentor?
Mentor is an experienced and trusted adviser. Whosoever you decide to mention as your mentor in order for you to properly answer this question, you must be able to explain why you are picking such a person because it will be asked, also how the person has positively or will positively influence you.

How would you deal with an angry customer?
This is a a no-brainier but also a technical question. The interviewer is interested in knowing how you treat people and how well you relate with others. If you have a previous experience in your job, probably you have worked in a position where you had to interface with customers or client, then draw from that experience.

What is the name of our CEO?
Indirectly asking, how well do you know the company? Research the company before you go for the interview. Find out their core values, which the management is and possibly, check out their profile on twitter to know what interests them. The CEO might just be sitting in the room and if you can show how well you know him, then you might just have nailed the interview.

Discuss your educational background.
This is quite different from the story of your life. Highlight the certificates you acquired and the skills you have acquired through this education that will make you a more suitable person for the job.

What Are Your Strength(s)?
This is by no means an easy question and a lot of job seekers will fail to deliver what is expected at this point. Most candidates fail not because they do not know what to say but for the lack of the accurate things to say and how to put them. The interviewer already gave you an opportunity to dig deep into his/her mindset and pour into it how awesome you are without being vain about it. The best answer is when you are able to exhibit how you used this strength(s) to carry out a task or perform a job role. Therefore, when answering this question, look for the strength(s) that fit with your present potential role or talk about specific instances of where you were able to get a notable appreciation for using this strength in a job. A good example goes like “When I am given a deadline, I do all I can to keep to it and hardly fail.”

Why Do You Want To Leave Your Current Job or Why Are You Looking For A New Job?
One mistake applicants make when answering this question is to speak ill of their present company or totally disrespect their current boss. Then the interviewer turns out to be a brother to the so-called current boss.
Watch this video of Frank Dunga below to get a glimpse of what is being discussed.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eHodpvt-kQU
This is an opportunity to put forward what you’ve learnt from your current job and how you can add value to the prospective job role. Tell the interviewer how ambitious you are and how your present employment does not give you enough opportunity to fully express your ambition, that’s the best hit for the question. Tell the interviewer that you believe and know that his/her organization would give you the playing ground you so much desire.

What is your dream job?
Only if you are not serious about getting the job, your dream job should be the current job you are applying for. Take time to make the job sound interesting. Tell your interviewer why you love the job and what aspect of the job or industry you love and explain why you want to work with them.

Why Should We Hire You?
There’s an apparent but too straight-forward and not so justifiable answer to this question, which is that you’re the best for the job. For justification, you need to backup this answer with salient points that differentiate you from other applicants.
But how do you do this? Is a question that needs a military attention. Take a look at the specifications of the job and look deep to get an example of a situation where you excelled or simply add value to the job or the project at hand.
Alternatively, speak passionately about your achievements while bearing in mind that all you say must be related to the job you’re running for.

What questions haven’t I asked you?
This question depends on your level of experience. If during the interview, you notice a strength of yours that was not related to any question and can give you an edge; you can use this opportunity to draw the interviewer’s attention to it. Just be ready for any follow-up question that might come up.

What questions do you have for me?
Never make the mistake of not asking any question. This is your chance to find out things you want to know and haven’t known about the company. In asking your question, do not pass your boundary, there are some questions you should refrain from asking. This is not the time to ask how many times you are free to go on leave or to start negotiating your salary, or probably asking if there are enough ladies around the office, who does that?. Ask intelligent questions like “What drives the company”? or “Who will you be working with”?, “Who held the present role you are been interviewed for and why?”.

drop yours grin grin grin

RomanceRe: Any lady that says YES to these questions can't remain single for long. by sage10pm(m): 9:49pm On Sep 18, 2015
Toks2008:
Its really amazing how ladies fear the possibility of remaining unmarried for a long time stretching into their late twenties and thirties.

I have sen many visit many prayer houses just to seek spiritual guide and advice just to be a mrs and while so many will quickly come out to say they are unperturbed, the truth is that deep inside of them they hope that they just find the "right man" fast enough and start raising a family before reaching their menopause age.

Many ladies do not need prayer and fasting and in most cases, there is no spiritual attack from anywhere but these ladies are their own pitfalls and the simple truth is that 90% of unmarried ladies in their late 20s and 30s have no business still remaining single.

Here are 5 very vital questions to ask yourself as a lady and the more you give a NO to each of these 5 questions the harder it becomes for you to get a man to marry you.

1.Can you start a life with a man in one room a.k.a FACE ME I FACE YOU?
: Many ladies have boyfriends who live in this type of apartment and infact they have spent some nights with him in that same one room apartment and the guy has lost count of how many times he has scr*wd you in any imaginable ways but when it comes to marriage you will foolishly say you can't marry into one room apartment.

Sorry is your second name and i strongly pity you. Most men who own mansions today started their lives in one room so if you are ok being scr*wd in one room but you can not marry same man living in one room then you are not only clueless but foolish and be ready to be dumped after he has really had you to his fullness.

2.Can you marry a struggling man who has no regular job?
:Oh i can imagine some ladies answering LAI! LAI!,MBA NUNU! GOD FORBID and so on to this particular question but please let me ask you"do you work in the ministry of employment?" maybe you just might help him get a job so that he will have a regular source of income to take care of you.

It is important to know that as long as that man is not lazy, his break through will come and must come. How many ladies have given up an affair because they feel the guy has no job just to realize a year latter that he is gainfully employed or he has started a profitable business and they start feeling bad for not being patient enough.

Ok what is even the guaranty that the ones who have good jobs or business can not face hardship? many ladies have lost their chance with a vibrant vision driven man just because they are waiting to say yes to a man who has a job rather than for them to also find something doing that will make them financially independent while the guy has enough space to pursue his dreams.Believe it or not 95% of the rich or successful guys you see today have passed through a struggling face.

3.Can you have a very low budget marriage?
: Now i want every reasonable lady reading this to understand that marital union and marriage ceremony are 2 different things.

Most times when you hear words like "my guy is not ready yet for marriage" what this simply implies is that the guy is NOT READY FOR A BIG MARRIAGE CEREMONY and not that he is not mentally, psychologically and emotionally ready but because our young ladies are overwhelmed with that one day celebration, they will never ever plan any wedding with a man who does not have the money to give them a flamboyant wedding and this is one major reasons why many ladies remain single for a very long time.

Have you looked around to see many graduates still struggling in their 30s with no assurance that a job or business will come up tomorrow? Are you among the myopic ladies who get carried away by a flamboyant wedding ceremony rich parents organize for their children?

Who says you can't have a marriage with N50,000 budget where you pay the bride price and proceed to the registry and when the money starts coming in you can do another big time wedding ceremony so why put yourself in bondage of having a compulsory big time wedding before you can be a mrs? Why are you giving that guy a good reason to continue using you, saying he is not ready for marriage ceremony but doing all the imaginable things a man will do to a wife on you.

For my igbo sisters i will advice you to appeal to the elders at home to understand that the fact that few of you are lucky to have a guy pay so much or spend so much on a marriage ceremony against all odds does not erase the fact that countless number of Igbo girls are been courted but not married in a timely manner due to the high expenses involved.

4.Can you marry a man who loves you but is not your preferred spec?
:Yes there is nothing absolutely wrong in having a picture of who you want and while some ladies are very fortunate to find such, many have lived in a fantasy world hoping to meet that man who has those qualities they dream of just to wait and wait until they become old waiting for an "ideal man"

In marriage there is nothing like a bad or good choice neither do we have an ideal or non ideal man but its about your choice. Many ladies want a tall, cute, rich.GOD fearing, romantic guy and its so amazing how some ladies will never shift ground and when that short caring and loving guy comes their way they hush him and start running after a prince charming that feels nada for them, what a shame.

Stop having this myopic belief that there is an ideal man out there,no man has it all and all you need to look out for is a man who truly desires and deserves you. If you like keep waiting and screening until you become the object of screening yourself. Be wise.

5.Can you marry a man with a wide age gap to you
:This is one of the most dangerous mistakes many ladies make. For crying out loud, except a lady just wants to play around,i do not see why a teenage girl will be dating a fellow teenager or a lady in her early twenties will be dating a guy of just a year or two older than her because when she eventually becomes ripe for marriage, in most cases this guy is still jumping around and fulfilling his sexual fantasies.

Yes age is nothing but a number but in most cases, ladies who date or court guys with wide age gaps like 8years or more tend to end up as a wife to the guy while most ladies who at their young ages started an affair with guys of close age proximity are usually left heart broken latter in life because most guys in the 20s are probably still playing around and not even psychologically ready for marital union.

So when i hear a 23 year old lady telling a guy in his 30s that he is too old for her i just laugh at her ignorance. If you are a teenager reading this or a lady in your early twenties,i will advice that except you just want to play around, you should date or court guys with wide age gap to avoid had i known.YES THERE ARE EXCEPTIONS to this but most times my assertion holds true.

I hope these write up makes sense to those who want to see sense in it.
.....kudos jhur! u av done a excellent research.

IslamRe: Signs Of Allah In Our Eyes by sage10pm(m): 3:54pm On Sep 16, 2015
personal59:
SIGNS OF ALLAH IN OUR EYES
What comes to your mind first when you
hear the word "eye"? Are you aware that
one of the most crucial things in life for you
is your ability to see? Even if you are, have
you ever thought what other signs your eye
bears?
The eye is one of the most manifest pieces of
evidence that living creatures are created.
All sight organs, including animal eyes and
the human eye, are extremely striking
examples of perfect design. This exceptional
organ is so overwhelmingly complex that it
surpasses even the most sophisticated man-
made devices in the world.
In order for an eye to see, all of its parts
have to co-exist and work in harmony. For
instance, if an eye happened to have lost its
eyelid, but still had all the other parts such
as the cornea, conjunctiva, iris, pupil, eye
lenses, retina, choroid, eye muscles, and tear
glands, it would still be greatly damaged
and soon lose its seeing function. In the
same manner, even if all its organelles were
present, if the tear production were stopped,
the eye would soon dry out and become
blind.
"The chain of coincidences" posited by
evolutionists loses all its meaning against
the complex structure of the eye. It is not
possible to explain the existence of the eye
other than as a matter of special creation.
The eye has a multi-sectioned complex
system and, as discussed above, all of these
individual sections had to come into
existence at the same time. It is impossible
for a half-developed eye to function at "half
capacity". In such a circumstance, the act of
seeing can by no means take place. An
evolutionist scientist admits to this truth:
The common trait of the eyes and the wings
is that they can only function if they are fully
developed. In other words, a halfway-
developed eye cannot see; a bird with half-
formed wings cannot fly.
In this case, we again face that very
important question: who created all of the
components of the eye all at once?
The owner of the eyes is obviously not the
one who makes the decision about their
formation. For it is impossible for a being
devoid of the knowledge of what seeing is
like, to desire to have a seeing organ and
have it attached to his body. So we have to
accept the existence of a Possessor of
superior Wisdom Who has created living
beings with senses such as seeing, hearing,
and so on. Another claim is that unconscious
cells gained consciousness-requiring functions
such as seeing and hearing by their own
desire and effort. It is crystal clear that this
is impossible. In the Qur'an, it is stated that
seeing has been bestowed upon living
beings by God:
Say: He it is Who brought you into being
and made for you the ears and the eyes and
the hearts: little is it that you give thanks.
(The Qur'an, 67:23)
Article 2
Our eyes are taking 10 pictures per second.
So on a daily basis, the eyes are constantly
taking 576,000 pictures if a person sleeps
for 8 hours. Which camera in this world can
continue to function for years and years
without being electronically charged like the
eyes? Indeed, the creations of Allah are
something to think about.
In addition, an average eye blinks 12 times
a minute. That's an amazing 11,520 blinks
a day if a person sleeps for 8 hours. There
are diseases which prevent a person from
blinking by causing the eye lids not to open
or close. The people suffering from such
diseases trully understand the value of
blinking. Let us thank Allah for allowing us
to blink over 10,000 times a day without
paying a dollar.
........may Allah(swt) reward us. so educative n @ d same tyme religious tu knw d full of worth of Allah(swt) cos His tu b praised alone..
