PoliticsRe: Morgues Overflow In Pakistan As Heatwave Toll Nears 800 by Sahabg(m): 9:16am On Jun 25, 2015
Vikkie14:
Hell On Earth.

The guy claiming "400¤ CALCIUM"(i dont know where he got that from) don't know what he is saying. If Pakistan is experiencing 400¤ Celcius, i believe Everyone should be dead by now, the nuclear bombs should be exploding by now, gas stations and petrol depots should be on fire by now, houses should be cracking up now, Human flesh should be peeling off and Nuclear reactors should be malfunctioning now. Vehicles should be melting from the scourge of heat.

All these aint happening and someone is claiming its 400 degree celcius.

I wish the pakistanis Peace and Rain(yeah they need it)
The temperature is about 40-43 centigrade in Sindh province only and the death toll is high because of dehydration due to fasting in Ramzan

17 Astonishing Places You Wouldn’t Believe Are In Pakistan
Pakistan, home to a population of almost 200 million people, rich in culture and exotic places for tourism has faded under the dark clouds of terrorism and other mind-numbing concerns. However, let’s for once not highlight our slip-ups and focus on the brighter side of things. These exotic destinations will make you want to pack your bags and leave immediately.

1. A location amidst the Seven Kingdoms from Game of Thrones?
This is Kalash Valley, Chitral. Where the Nuristani people of Kalash speak ‘kalashamondr’. Breathtaking!
2. A hospitable café by the river in Switzerland?
https://i4m032imkie3gak4u536h719.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/B7u303DCQAAjiLp.jpg
Not at all! This is Kalam Valley, Swat. A tourist hot-spot, labeled as ‘mini-Europe’ by many.
3. Volcanoes fascinate everyone. Is this on Dante’s peak?
https://i4m032imkie3gak4u536h719.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/TfbxT.jpg
Not exactly, these Mud volcanoes can be found in different regions of Balochistan. This particular one rests in Hingol, Balochistan.
4. The magical waters from the Chronicles of Narnia?
https://i4m032imkie3gak4u536h719.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/B9Px8BLCEAALrH0.jpg_large.jpeg
Can’t be. This is the exotic Ghizer River in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Wrapped around lush, green and pleasant landscapes, Ghizer is a diamond in the dirt.
5. Definitely something taken out of a Hollywood movie?
https://i4m032imkie3gak4u536h719.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/B8WhE7GCIAIkRSR.jpg_large.jpeg
Not to be. These are the Rakaposhi-Haramosh Mountains, Karakoram. Amongst the largest in the world, these mountains are a trekker’s fantasy.

6. Did you just open your window in a Khatmandu resort?
https://i4m032imkie3gak4u536h719.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/B8COGVjCYAAV5A9.jpg_large.jpeg
A window does open, but from the Hunza Valley, Gilgit-Balistan. The Burushaski speaking locals live a happy, peaceful life amidst cold weathers.

7. A temple for the faithful situated near the holy river Ganges?
https://i4m032imkie3gak4u536h719.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/B71gOWqIMAEU3mP.jpg_large.jpeg
The Katas Raj Temple in Chakwal, Punjab. Remains of the Buddhist Stupa, the Katas site houses the Satgraha, a group of seven ancient temples.
8. Foreigners sidelining along the blue lines of Goa?https://i4m032imkie3gak4u536h719.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/B6PZcqKCMAACtgo.jpg_large.jpeg
The Arabian Sea says no! Cape Monze or locally known as Ras Muari, the Cape Mount Beach floats near the Gadani Beach, Karachi.

JF 17 thunder is made on age old mig-21 airframe which
russia supplied. JF 17 (JOINT FAILURE NO 17 / JUNK
FIGHTER - 17) is just a modification of age old
design.....tech experts around the world consider the JF-17
a FAILED DESIGN

Description
* Pakistan claims their aircraft as INDIGENOUS but it is
using almost all the technology from China and engine from
Russia in their jf-17 (JOINT FAILURE NO 17) fighter........
* Jf-17 is an soviet era fighter comparable to Mig-21 at
most. Even this may be an rosy comparison as China uses
700 Mig-21 but not an single Jf-17 despite Jf-17's low
price.
* the JF-17 aka junk fighter which is designed by China
with partial funding from Pakistan. It is formally known as
JF-17 Thunder. When the fighter was in development,
Pakistani online communities were jumping with excitement
comparing it with its arch rival India’s modern combatants
Su-30MKI, Mig-29S & Mirage-2000H. There were claims of
it featuring western Radars and long range missiles, &
Chinese ordering some due to its superior capabilities. But
the reality is far from it. China having spent significant
amount of money into a fighter which it is never going to
use, most probably forced Pakistan to accept its avionics to
offset some its development costs. Chinese who are known
for their self reliance first and quality next, are further
downgrading JF-17s capabilities with their poorly copy-
pirated avionics. Along with their dubious weapons, any
chance of JF-17 maintaining BVR edge over its adversary’s
front-line combatants, for the most part, is unlikely.
* The Chinese designed JF-17 (also known as FC-1) is also
manufactured in China, which is trying to export it to
Algeria, Egypt, Nigeria, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon,
Burma, Iran and Sri Lanka as an inexpensive alternative to
American and Russian fighters. So far, no takers. The
hundreds of JF-17s to be built in Pakistan are mainly
composed of Chinese parts, and the Chinese Air Force has
not shown any interest in obtaining the aircraft for its own
use. Officially, the Chinese Air Force is still “evaluating” the
JF-17, but unofficially, Chinese air force commanders
consider the JF-17 a FAILED DESIGN.

China doesnot use JF17 cuz they have a similar plane called JL9
And here is Kamra where 54% of jf17 airframe is constructed

Politician Maulana Fazlur Rehman has commanded the military to take action on “immodest women”, who he blamed for recent terror attacks.

Ulema-e-Islami Fazi leader Rehman also said that women who wear jeans are responsible for rising inflation and other disasters, according to reports.

He demanded that uncovered women wear sacks and stay inside their homes – so the Taliban doesn’t attack Pakistan.

He said: “The Taliban are our brothers and their angst against the state is justified.

“As brother Ansar Abbasi has so eloquently put in the past: TTP’s suicide bombings are just Allah’s wrath upon us.

“And so there is a need to earmark and eliminate the real enemy of Pakistan: every woman who wears jeans.”

Clerics in the Middle East have recently made a string of bizarre proclamations recently.

Islamic police in Iran banned spiky hair over claims it is linked to “devil worship”.

And an Islamic scholar reportedly issued a command that women owe their husbands sex at all times – even when riding on camels.

The film star has a double in the most unlikely of places - and he's been a big hit in the online world
A Tom Cruise lookalike in the Pakistan Airforce is capturing women's hearts.

The highflying pilot, who looks like he's rolled straight out of Top Gun, has rolled back the years for thousands of Twitter users.

A tweet showing the soldier is channeling Tom Cruise's character Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell from the high 1986 adrenaline flight movie.

The lookalike has been identified as Squadron Leader Yasir Mudasser, a JF-17 pilot of Pakistan Air Force.

He was snapped while informing the Pakistani Ambassador to Italy Tehmina Janjua during the Paris Air Show on Sunday, and his picture thrilled social media users.
