Politics / Re: EXPOSED! APC Leaders Share Power, Give OBJ Three Ministerial Slots by saharachic(f): 11:09am On Mar 22, 2015
stephenoginni:
LEADERS of the All Progressives Congress (APC) were involved in marathon meetings throughout last week in Abuja in what was described as “last minute confidence-building exercise.”
Strategic leaders of the party had arrived Abuja on Monday and remained in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) till Saturday morning when some of them headed for Lafia, Nasarawa State for the grand finale of the presidential campaign rally in the North-Central state.
Sources told Sunday Tribune that as part of confidence-building aimed at ensuring that stakeholders go into the election with a sense of belonging, each of the leaders was told what he is likely to get in the event the APC wins the presidential election on 28 March.
It was gathered that though some discussions on power sharing had actually taken place before now, the exercise of last week was aimed at rebuilding confidence in the party and firming up a zoning arrangement.
“Some strategists of the party involved in the power sharing arrangement have been meeting in Abuja since the beginning of last week. Many flew into the capital city on Monday and they remained in town till Saturday. What could be regarded as the grand finale of the meeting took place at the Imo State Governor’s Lodge in Abuja on Friday evening. The arrangements were finalised at the meeting,” a source said.
It was gathered that each of the leaders from the geopolitical zones has been given a sense of belonging in the arrangement.
For instance, a source said that former President Olusegun Obasanjo was offered three ministerial slots, FCT, Interior and Defence.
It was also gathered that the position of Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) was zoned to the South-South with the like of Governor Rotimi Amaechi and the APC National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, said to have been penciled in for the job.
It was also learnt that the spokesman of APC, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has been penciled in as Minister of Information, while Honourable Abike Dabiri has been penciled in as......................see full gist on link below ;

i think this website has been heavily compromised.

80 percent of topics that hit the front page has to do with PDP propagandas.

where did nairaland get it wrong? if i could remember, the major thing that attracted people to nairaland was it's neutrality and formlessness. Here people believed that they can be anything the want and say anything they like without being coerced or threatened. But that all has changed, especially during this election period.

I detest this website now. The owners should do something urgently about this or they may lose what took them so many years to build.

Remember, this is the information age, no business/website is too big to fail.

Shachris.

Before it was one pdp dolt that came here to complain that nl is biased towards pdp and favoring APC. now this. Lets just relax till 28th, its not far at all.

Marking attendance here... present!! Guys you need to discuss APC's chances realistically across the nation. I feel like if APC gets at least 50% in the SW then it's a done deal for Buhari. We know he's going to win NE, NW and more than likely NC. I want us to be realistic and not apply any sentiment since this a thread we're discussing among ourselves hopefully without any distractions from the dark side

you are welcome bro, always for change.

I am in o.Although, i am not a card carrying member of APC,i am a sympathiser of buhari/osibanjo ticket.

sympathizing is good but here we will not do that. with respect to buhari/osibanjo, Nigerians will now start demanding accountability because our vote will count with change in govt. no more sympathizing because that is what "ebele" is using to hoodwink our brothers across the niger, now we need action, accountability, transparency and ruthlessness in dealing with economic, security, foreign, domestic and welfare issues and we will get that with buhari gvt 2015 after realizing the power in our votes, no one can fool us again
