LordMecuzy: Dear I've travelled around north for over a month now. Sincerely bokoharam has given Buhari lots of sympathy votes. The Northerners believe Jonathan isn't serious with d war against insurgency.Even d minority christians in Bauchi, Gombe n Adamawa want Buhari. When I went to Adamawa I saw Internally Displaced people, I tried holding back my tears still I couldn't . Right in dis severe cold some are still lying in an open field and queuing up for Malnourished Rice. These are Nigerians too, Do you think dey like thier present predicaments? Tho I'm an Igbo dude from SouthEast but what I saw surely surely touched me. We are at war!!!
GMB gathering sympathy votes is actually not an achievement, it is not a gain in political terms. It is the actual displacement that counts as political achievement but for who? i think GEJ. Lets reverse it and see if the same thing was happening to the south or the east, it would have been termed that GMB is the one to gain politically because people will be afraid to come out and vote GEJ in his strong holds.
AMP BUEHRING, Kuwait, Dec. 8 - In an extraordinary exchange at this remote desert camp, Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld found himself on the defensive today, fielding pointed questions from Iraq-bound troops who complained that they were being sent into combat with insufficient protection and aging equipment.
Specialist Thomas Wilson, a scout with a Tennessee National Guard unit scheduled to roll into Iraq this week, said soldiers had to scrounge through local landfills here for pieces of rusty scrap metal and bulletproof glass - what they called "hillbilly armor" - to bolt on to their trucks for protection against roadside bombs in Iraq.
"Why don't we have those resources readily available to us?" Specialist Wilson asked Mr. Rumsfeld, drawing cheers and applause from many of the 2,300 troops assembled in a cavernous hangar here to meet the secretary. Mr. Rumsfeld responded that the military was producing extra armor for Humvees and trucks as fast as possible.
A few minutes later, a soldier from the Idaho National Guard's 116th Armor Cavalry Brigade asked Mr. Rumsfeld what he and the Army were doing "to address shortages and antiquated equipment" National Guard soldiers heading to Iraq were struggling with.
When i see ROSSIKE, all i see is PROPAGANDA.
now ask yourself, did the U.S address the shortage of equipment? Damn sure they did. But what of Gej's military, up till now they still complain of inadequate weaponry to fight boko haram. Do not use a strand of hair to mess up the full bunch.
size38: Wike and d PDP hope on rigging. But we will surprise them at d poll. APC change! APC change! In Amaechi I believe, in APC I remain. Vote Dakuku, vote Buhari. APC change!
Yes we know who's handiwork this is - PDPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!
They have been looking for every means to destabilize Rochas but they have failed!
Have you ever wondered why Boko haram has been sustaining attacks in the north? The North East is GMB'S stronghold, so if people dont come out to vote for fear of boko haram, who gains? GEJ right?
Now see the same pattern they have been replicating in Imo state. You remember this is not the first time a bomb has been discovered in that state.
iiichidodo: We don't see how GEJ will lose the SE/SW block with the ethnocentric policies of an archaic association that is quickly turn into a toothless dog by the minute....and will somebody please remind them that GEJ only needs a robust showing in their areas never mind block votes in the middle belt,SE,SS and a split in the SW...GEJ till 2019.
Yes oh Yes oh Back to Otuoke Here i come From where i started my reign of blood
Collynzo9: Just check out what these guys are spewing, if it was Ohaneze or any Igbo group that declared support for GEJ (who isn't Igbo) based on his achievements, some people from the left hand side of Nigeria will accuse them of tribalism and ethnic sentiments. However this northern apex group is making it clear that it is actually a POLICY for them to support ANY northern candidate in any Presidential election. The implication is that even if Shekau or any other mad man from the North wants to be President, they will support him over any other candidate from another part of Nigeria.
The problem here lies in the ethnocentric views of some of you from across the River Niger. You guys are the ones inflaming this ethnic bias. This has nothing to do with what the North wants, but on your skewed ethnocentric nature.
LordMecuzy: Buhari of course. Northerners are tired of bokoharam, you think internally displaced persons in camp don't wanna go back home? Christian Northern Minorities too are tired. For Over Four years Bokoharam has been terrorising them. Now Westerners wanna vote for Buhari. Hmmmm Jonathan Can't win with just SouthSouth and SouthEast votes alone. just Kano can match 3 South South states in terms of eligible Voters and with Lagos voting for APC Hmmmmmm
I dont understand your reason. It's not clear enough. If Kano has large voters base than three ss states, what gives you the confidence they will come out en masse to vote for GMB, when the fear of Boko Haram still pervades the north?
Vicotex: Even a day baby knows, without been said GMB is the mastermind behind BH
You guys did not give an exhaustive reason. Why GMB? What is your reason? Can you counter this below?
9jatriot: Hardtalk. Question is who gains? the obvious answer is GEJ. My reasons. Majority of the votes from the North will go to GMB without any doubt, one rigging option of the ruling party is to instigate fear in those areas such that there will be no elections in majority of the areas whereas the fear place that will have elections will have low turnout. Meanwhile, the areas where GEJ has strong support which includes the South south and south east will not have any hitch. In summary, GEJ stands to gain more from the insurgency than anyone else, unfortunately human lives are being sacrificed on this political calculation.
The boko haram menace have been worse than cancer in the north east and the northern nigeria per say.
The NAF and Military Authorities agree that they are ill-equipped to fight boko haram, why the vampires keep on decimating the north and killing innocent nigerians.
But the word on every body's lips is this: why has the government let boko haram to grow to this unbearable stain on the country, why has the military remain incapacitated for so long?
There have been blames and counter blames, accusations and counters but no body has been brought to justice, justice that has been meted out clean and clear.
Now the question here is this, who stands to gain Politically from the boko haram menace? As election approaches, who is the one that benefits from boko haram reign of terror?
