Dear I've travelled around north for over a month now. Sincerely bokoharam has given Buhari lots of sympathy votes. The Northerners believe Jonathan isn't serious with d war against insurgency.Even d minority christians in Bauchi, Gombe n Adamawa want Buhari. When I went to Adamawa I saw Internally Displaced people, I tried holding back my tears still I couldn't . Right in dis severe cold some are still lying in an open field and queuing up for Malnourished Rice. These are Nigerians too, Do you think dey like thier present predicaments? Tho I'm an Igbo dude from SouthEast but what I saw surely surely touched me. We are at war!!!

AMP BUEHRING, Kuwait, Dec. 8 - In an extraordinary exchange at this remote desert camp, Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld found himself on the defensive today, fielding pointed questions from Iraq-bound troops who complained that they were being sent into combat with insufficient protection and aging equipment.

Specialist Thomas Wilson, a scout with a Tennessee National Guard unit scheduled to roll into Iraq this week, said soldiers had to scrounge through local landfills here for pieces of rusty scrap metal and bulletproof glass - what they called "hillbilly armor" - to bolt on to their trucks for protection against roadside bombs in Iraq.

"Why don't we have those resources readily available to us?" Specialist Wilson asked Mr. Rumsfeld, drawing cheers and applause from many of the 2,300 troops assembled in a cavernous hangar here to meet the secretary. Mr. Rumsfeld responded that the military was producing extra armor for Humvees and trucks as fast as possible.

A few minutes later, a soldier from the Idaho National Guard's 116th Armor Cavalry Brigade asked Mr. Rumsfeld what he and the Army were doing "to address shortages and antiquated equipment" National Guard soldiers heading to Iraq were struggling with.

Just check out what these guys are spewing, if it was Ohaneze or any Igbo group that declared support for GEJ (who isn't Igbo) based on his achievements, some people from the left hand side of Nigeria will accuse them of tribalism and ethnic sentiments.
However this northern apex group is making it clear that it is actually a POLICY for them to support ANY northern candidate in any Presidential election. The implication is that even if Shekau or any other mad man from the North wants to be President, they will support him over any other candidate from another part of Nigeria.

For Over Four years Bokoharam has been terrorising them. Now Westerners wanna vote for Buhari. Hmmmm Jonathan Can't win with just SouthSouth and SouthEast votes alone. just Kano can match 3 South South states in terms of eligible Voters and with Lagos voting for APC Hmmmmmm

Hardtalk. Question is who gains? the obvious answer is GEJ.
My reasons.
Majority of the votes from the North will go to GMB without any doubt, one rigging option of the ruling party is to instigate fear in those areas such that there will be no elections in majority of the areas whereas the fear place that will have elections will have low turnout. Meanwhile, the areas where GEJ has strong support which includes the South south and south east will not have any hitch.
In summary, GEJ stands to gain more from the insurgency than anyone else, unfortunately human lives are being sacrificed on this political calculation.
