IamJewel: still having battery issues. Yet, I bought a new one.

You have just 2 known solutions namely;

1- Flash custom recovery and wipe battery stats.
2- Google for the phone's kernel and flash it on the phone.

I'm sure that either of the above would work for your phone. Because they are tested.

You should Google for the exact kernel of that phone and flash it on the phone. Or flash a new firmware entirely on it.

That fault is most likely from the touchpad. You might need to change the touchpad on the phone.

Free up the phone memory by uninstalling one or two applications on the phone then, check it again.

Better still, you can move most of your apps to the SDCard on the phone.

coobboy: my tecno phantom pad n9 has not been able to detect any kind of sim again, kindly tell me whats wrong with it.......but first off it used to detect and would say sim removed whilst there's a sim in it

This is most likely and hardware problem. Give it to an hardware engineer that solve the problem for you.

Simply move the apps to your SD Card and set the SD Card as the default Install Location.

Uninstall few applications from the phone memory.

Slow Loading Problem: the application of that phone is almost exhausted.
Slow Loading Solution Uninstall some apps from the phone or move them to the SD Card.

"E" Network Solution: confirm that the settings on the phone is appropriate.
Whatsapp Solution: Uninstall and re-install whatsapp on the phone.

hisperform: Please Help!!. My Tecno L3 has refuse to show network signal (be it MTN, GLO, Airtel or Eti) and its not on flight mode. If the phone is rooted, you have probably tampered with the etc folder of the phone. As for the apps, the file systems are probably corrupted.

SOLUTION
The ONLY solution to solve the problem once and for all is to flash another ROM and Gapps on the phone.

1. The phone powers on itself when I insert battery without pressing the power button. Even when I switched it off, it powers itself back. when it shut down due to lo batt, it tries to power on.
2. The battery don't get charged fast. For like 3hrs charging, giving me 25% batt status n it drains d battery quickly.

This kind of problem could be caused by hardware or software, you need to explain how it happened for an appropriate answer.

Boot the phone to recovery and factory reset the phone from there. If that does not work, don't mind given the phone to an engineer as such phones are fragile.

If the phone once falling to water, just a simple sun drying should solve problem otherwise, the power button has to be adjusted or replaced.

You need to include what you did last on the phone and the detailed info of how it happened for anyone willing to help you to do so.

drakeskull: Get your facts right man. Mere flashing wrong kernel can make wifi and bluetooth non-fuctional. Read and study well before misleading.

I had an htc first back then, wifi kept turning off till i flashed the right kernel.

I don't know how and where you do your studies, but I'm a practising software engineer. Just because you coincidentally had that experience does not mean that's the option.

Now, for your information and those who wishes to learn, below are the relatives of the components of android OS:
Kernel : is like an intermediary or a messenger between the hardwares and softwares of your android device. Thus, it relays and translates messages between the hardwares and softwares an android device.
E.g when your phone rings on a call, when the led light blinks on missed calls or messages and so on.

So, a wrong kernel on your phone can send
wrong messages between the hardware and softwares on your phones. And maynot relay any message at all.

Radio - android radio on the other hand, is a partition on the android device that controls the GSM/WiFi/GPRS hardwares on the phone. Meanwhile, the kernel always receives and relays messages/signals between the radio (which is software) and Wifi cable/box (hardware) on any android device.

You can Google or check this on Wikipedia to redo your researches.

USB Debugging is disactivated on the tablet, dont have a Linux PC and for command prompt NO' BUT in all i can try if guided.

Since USB Debugging is deactivated on the tablet, there's only tiny chance for it.

It may still work, you only need a software engineer that knows the work well.

The app was not uninstalled. It only disappears from the phone's app drawer. This is caused by a corrupt folder of the app in the system folder.

To be able to install another one, you need a root file explorer to remove the app folder from the phone then, re-install another version of the app.

Try Curve 4 or Torch 2.
Both of them have hotspot if you upgraded them to the latest firmware.
