Even if it's not a figure of speech, with the enormous wealth and power including the entire judiciary under your fold, you can still do it and go away scotfree |
Judges don catch out this season! Our most inestimable judge Omoto will be a billionaire big time! |
Nigeria’s elections. The provision was contained in the House of Representatives Order Paper for March 31, 2026, which carried the report on the 2026 Appropriation Bill, as seen by The PUNCH on Monday. The PUNCH observed that the allocation was captured under the Service-Wide Votes, a centrally managed pool of funds used by the Federal Government to finance obligations not tied to a specific ministry, department, or agency. Service-Wide Votes are widely regarded as the government’s contingency or general-purpose fund within the budget. Explainer: Cholera It has been described as a central provision used to cover expenditures that cut across multiple agencies, including unforeseen obligations, national commitments, and liabilities that cannot be easily assigned to a single institution. In some cases, the fund also accommodates items that require further approval or are not fully determined at the time of budget preparation. Within this framework, the N135.22bn provision for post-election matters indicates that the government expects ongoing fiscal pressure from election-related legal disputes, settlements, and administrative processes. https://punchng.com/fg-budgets-n135bn-for-2027-election-lawsuits/ |
During the war the ousting of Sadam Husein, the US armed Iran 🇮🇷 military and used Iranian base stations to launch attacks on Iraq, theUS hoped to see Iraq Nuclear weapons, they didn't see any. So how does the relationship between Iran and the US got so strained that the US are now turning around again using the same rhetoric about Sadam Husein in Iran now? |
Anything or models involving bringing back subsidy is evil. Come to imagine, what benefit does Nigeria derived from the crude oil hike in price. The present cost of transportation was the cost we paid in 2023 when the President declared that fuel subsidy is gone. Then fuel prices increased to N1400 in most cities in Nigeria. Then Dangote refineries came on stream and the prices crashed to N740 per litre of fuel in most cities in Nigeria 🇳🇬. The did the transportation cost reduced? The answer was no. Then the Iran war came and fuel went up to N1400 same as in 2023, immediately transport cost increased nearly 50% in most cities in Nigeria 🇳🇬. So who is fooling who |
Even if you mean it nothing will happen, the judiciary is under your feet |

You may be right ✅️ the system is deliberately designed that way by weakening institutions responsible in maintaining law and order. |
They have to borrow to enable them finance the forthcoming election with ease! Those governors concluding their second term need the loan to finance their lifestyle when they retire |
Many of them have been conditioned from childhood to think and act with the entitlement mentality. I said many of them!! |
Very correct, I don't know why the President is so afraid upon having 32 governors out of 36 including FCT |
The judiciary along with greedy politicians will ignite this country one day. Perhaps it's not too long |
The US president is very upbeat and inconsiderate |

Thank God for their safe return home. This is why we advocate for State Police |
The pastor is right, as an Ijaw man, I know that as part of the Ijaw culture any child born by your wife belings to the husband. This is true of what I met in the early 80s growing up as child. There was no need for DNA, there are even cases of clear difference in the family but the man will just accept it. Sometimes those children will rise to be the breadwinner in the family. I will never conduct a DNA test even if billions of dollars on the children. I don't have any need for one because my children are my photocopy. |
Men are gradually getting more brutal in marriage. They are now realising how skewed the marriage business is. |
Kemi Badenoch The leader of the UK Conservative Party, Kemi Badenoch Kemi Badenoch says UK should’ve voted against UN resolution condemning slavery, demanding reparations In a post on X, she said, “Russia, China, and Iran vote with others to demand trillions in reparations from UK taxpayers…and the Labour government abstain!" byBeloved John March 26, 2026 Reading Time: 2 mins read The leader of the UK Conservative Party, Kemi Badenoch, says Britain should have voted against the UN resolution, which described slavery as the greatest crime against humanity and demanded slavery reparations from former colonial authorities. Ms Badenoch, who is of Nigerian origin, criticised the UK for abstaining from voting on the resolution, which, according to her, demanded trillions from British taxpayers as reparations for slavery. FIRST BANK AD Do you live in Ogijo In a post on X, she said, “Russia, China, and Iran vote with others to demand trillions in reparations from UK taxpayers…and the Labour government abstain! “Why didn’t Starmer’s representative vote against this? Ignorance…or cowardice?” PREMIUM TIMES reported that the UN General Assembly voted to recognise the transatlantic slave trade as the gravest crime against humanity. Ghana introduced the resolution to the assembly and urged the establishment of a reparations fund to repair the damage caused by the slave trade. It, however, did not fix any amount for the reparations. The resolution also asked states to consider apologising for the slave trade. The resolution received overwhelming support at the general assembly, with 123 member states voting in favour. Only three countries voted against it: Argentina, Israel, and the US, while 52 countries — primarily European countries— abstained from voting. This includes Britain, Portugal, and Spain, which were, arguably, most guilty of the slave trade and colonialism. Nigeria and other African countries voted in support of the resolution. The transatlantic slave trade represents one of the darkest chapters in human history, marked by the systematic exploitation, displacement, and dehumanisation of millions of Africans. An estimated 15 million Africans were forcibly transported across the Atlantic between the 15th and 19th centuries. Many died during the Middle Passage, while survivors were subjected to forced labour and systemic abuse in the West. However, Ms Badenoch said the UK, which colonised several African countries, including Nigeria, should not have to pay reparations because it contributed to the eradication of the slave trade. “Britain led the fight to end slavery. We shouldn’t be paying for a crime we helped eradicate and still fight today,” she noted. Although born in Wimbledon, South West London, Ms Badenoch lived in Lagos, Nigeria, and then in the US, where her mother, a physiology professor, lectured. The Tory leader was born in 1980, 20 years after Britain granted Nigeria independence, to two Nigerian parents. Ms Badenoch returned to the UK at the age of 16 to live with a friend of her mother to study for her A-levels. She is known for making unpleasant comments about Nigeria since she was elected the Tory leader in 2024. Education today is facing lots of different challenges. Uniforms are the smallest amongst those challenges. Parents are gradually shifting from the normal Education to skills acquisition. This trend I think will continue. |
Very fantastic and kind gesture from the governor. Southern Governors should emulate Makinde |
See the yeye advice by PETROAN Chairman Gillis- Harry to channel the gains to repairing the dead refineries. In reality, those dead refineries should be sold to private individuals for proper management and not to pump money in it. |
