this is one of the things people write here that initiated the Visa ban for serious minded immigrants in the first place. If you know you dont have something tangible and important to write or contribute to help people,please keep it and DM those who can help you privately. Let us forget the tales people tell on social media about the grandious lifestyle that awaits people abroad,getting the Visa is one thing,getting a Green Card is yet another thing entirely. if your relationship isnt genuie or true,what you stand to face when you arrive will shock you. Visa officers daily swim through this page looking out for new tricks and methods people are adopting to migrate under different guises. We have lots of people with genuie intentions, if you dont have,please dont come here and hinder those who have. lots of people will have to face this Ban which we dont have an idea of when it willl be lifted. peoples wives and to be spouses are now stuck in Nigeria because of the loud and inconsiderate attitude of many. Please and please try to watch what you post so someone else doesnt get affected by what you feel must say,read through the comments and they might answer the questions you already have.

i think some people feel this forum is for some kind of joke. u told the embassy u were married and then u now want to file
for k1 visa? if they discover u lied before, with the anger those guys operate this days,it might be a life ban.
lets be sincere so we dont jeopadize the chances of those who really need a visa for genunie purposes. if u are married,then
clear the road or divorce and remarry with the right documents. i hope we know this thread is open so COs can read
and get some clues to what to expect.

U mean 6 weeks after applying or 6 weeks after u arrived the States?

I waited for 3 weeks plus . They said it was with DHS processing. I dont think we ever asked for manual verification though. Thanks sir.

@legitbachelor. How long did it take to get your social security number. Mine has taken like 6weeks. They said it's not cleared from DHS. Do u have any tips or tots about this.

Pls who is done with filing their form I-485. Need some help ASAP. Do I need to do a new medical exam And can I use the affidavit of support I used during the K1 process?

Pls..can we use the same bank documents we used for the Affidavit of support during the K1 process for form I-864�

@Drenimarcus. Every Every dey oh. The gbedu is serious. Embassy stress is multifaceted. E dey enter inside blood and bone.

My K1 visa was approved on the 3rd of July,though I collapsed during the interview process from exhaustion and low blood sugar issues because I was on a 3 days mid year fast and had not slept for up to 5hours in 2days.God showed me mercy and it went well. My fiancee and I will get married come 24th in Texas. The wedding is a big one,we have spent over $18k preparing for it since November 2018.Expecting friends and family from Europe and Australia and Africa.
I flew into DFW through Frankfurt from Abuja on the 9th and 10th. POE was smooth,normal secondary processing and agric section checks. Had to fly to Lagos twice,one for the interview and the visa collection.
My candid advise to us all intending to apply is to ensure that your intentions are genuine because God won't bless a lie except you are trusting in something else to pull you through.
My appreciation goes to God and those who make this forum lively eg. @legitbachelor and others.
Mine was a miracle because I tot by collapsing during the interview I would be put on enquiry and further drilled and denied.Infact I was wheeled out of the embassy with the option of an ambulance but I declined and choose to speak with my doctor instead.
My visa pickup letter was given to me by the head of the Consulate himself,he cracked jokes with me while I laid on the floor receiving attention from the nurses and doctors.It was a miracle cos many where denied that day.
Be careful not to lie because they do background checks.They sent someone to check my address to see if it was real.
Also it is important to know that the embassy people read through forums too so if you have something sinister to write pls swallow it.
