Olamak1: It's not about price hike, though it happens sometimes. But here, the difference in the prices is as a result of the fact that you got the item directly from seller's store the first time. But later, Aliexpress decided to add it to their choice products. That's what accounts for the $3.9. Choice items are always cheaper.
So Aliexpress pays the seller the difference between actual price and choice price of all items sold?
kopell: Hello, this is not how to promote anything that you genuinely believe is working with this kind of video recording. You should show people in clear video to convince people that it's really working. Don't sow the impression of scam in people's mind even if you believe what you're doing is working. Posting 3 minutes of unclear video will not convince any serious people to patronize you. That is just my little advice to you. You need to convince people that what you're doing can work for hours. That way people can take you serious.
So you mean I should have posted 5 hours video of the inverter working? I am not advertising battery, what i am advertising is an inverter and what I am showing in the video is to show the capacity of the inverter, that it can power a lot of appliances, including inductive loads all @ the same time.
I was even thinking the video I made is too long, because people don't have the time to watch long videos these days. There is nothing like scam here, no be today I dey do business on Nairaland and my good records is still intact till date.
jboixxx: Each time? Nope but discounts do come as much as 80% sef.
Does this means that the prices were originally over inflated ab initio. I once bought a 20usd item on Aliexpress, that 20usd was the cheapest price on the site @ the time, as I checked everywhere on the site looking for the cheapest price.
The following month, I saw the same item being offered for 3.9usd during one of their sales promotion, can you imagine the huge difference between 20usd and 3.9usd.
Olamak1: Let me break it down for you to understand:
During major sales, for instance, you're given aliexpress coupons and store discounts which reduce the price of an item you intend buying, and you're happy about it. You now approach Bitnob and request for the use of their Shopee service, telling them you intend to apply the Coupons and discounts on the product, only for you to be told that the terms and conditions for using the service does no permit that. That means you're left with no option than to transfer the actual Price for the product to them .
At this point, Bitnob goes ahead and effects the payment for you after you'd furnished them with the necessary information. Now my question to you is: "who benefits from the Coupons and discounts you can't enjoy?"
This is exactly my point! Yes, it's a wonderful initiative, that's true, especially for people who don't know much regarding Aliexpress shopping, and am not against it. I've always been a fan of Bitnob because I've used their services for almost a year now. But, when I saw the advert last year and it's T&C, then I knew it's not for somebody like me......
Anyway, just wait till you have an attractive benefits – coupons, coupon codes and discounts – from AliExpress and you discover that you can't enjoy them on the Shopee . That's when you'd understand what am saying.
Can someone get up to 20% discount each time someone is purchasing on Aliexpress?
noobody: How to get back your lost/stolen REDMI(xiaomi) devices.(long read, kindly note,I don't have writing skills also, just trying to pass out information).
This post here is about one of the most underrated features that comes embedded in the MIUI(soon to be hyper os) system. Many OG's like us who have been using Xiaomi devices since the days of Redmi note 3,note 4x,note 5 etc, have previously or at one time uses this feature to locate our devices when it was stolen, better still we use it to lock the device to render it useless to the thieves.
But to many new REDMI(Xiaomi users)who are just joining the family, really do not know the importance of this great feature called mi account.
In other words mi account(similar to the iOS iteration called iCloud)is an account Xiaomi lets you register on all devices running MIUI(using custom ROM won't let you do these)rom,it has basic features like back up to the cloud, also it can store your pictures ,contacts, etc, you can read up more about it,but the main reason for these write up is its ability to locate your stolen/lost devices.
The main point,on how to use mi account to locate your stolen/lost devices.
Firstly you need to be registered on the mi account platform,it's very easy, Go to settings, scroll to the mi account section, ensure your internet is enabled, Sign up for a mi account, using phone number or email(higly recommended should in case you loose access to your SIM). Once you are all done and set up,you are good to go,ensure the account stays active and registered on your device, after wards, scroll to the settings on your mi account and activate the find my device feature for free. Now in the scenario where the unfortunate incident occurs and your device is stolen/lost,look for another internet enabled device, log on to i.mi.com ,your login email and password would be required, once logged in,use the find my device features,it would pin point exactly (to the most precise location,it would even show the exact house, street, etc) the phone is currently located. Now I am sure you are wondering, what If the phone is switched off,or on airplane mode, good question, the device would at the point of going off, store the exact last known location before going off, that is where it would ping at,and the very next time, the device is switched on,it would save that same location and it would show you exactly where it is. Also from the i.mi.com you can activate lost mode, this feature would ensure the thieves don't get access to your device, and also you can drop a SOS message on the lost device feature,in the case the phone is lost,if a good Samaritan finds it,once it switches on,the sos message containing your contact information can be used to contact you to come get your phone. Also on the mi account settings on your device, you have the option to enable your device to send a cordinates of its last known location before it is switched off. Also it is important to note that, once a mi account is active on a device and not signed out, that phone can never be factory reset to be used by another person,as it would always ask for the former details of its previous owner before any other individual can use it.
I hope you all find this piece of information useful.
Also on the mi account settings on your device, you have the option to enable your device to send a cordinates of its last known location before it is switched off.
What's the process of setting the bolded that you mentioned, I searched everywhere on my phone to get the settings but I didn't see it.
Odusdave1: my package as been in the hands of nipost for 3 weeks plus now ,they are claiming to have dispatched it to a location ,I have gone to the so called location and they said it has not arrived ,I even used style to bribe one of the officials that she should call me anytime she sees the package ,so far no results ,so yes we can blame nipost
That Nipost service is very frustrating, what speedaf will deliver to you in 2 days once they receive your item, the item might spend 3 months in Nipost custody before you receive it, the tracking ll be showing you its in their custody and they ll be telling you they don't have anything like that with them.
mctfopt: They are all the same. Use a regular mail courier.
Like Nipost? for speedaf, some few items don't ship through them, infact you can't specifically tell seller on Aliexpress to use speedaf. It is Aliexpress that partners directly with speedaf.
For Nipost, those ones are another case, an item you suppose to receive in two to three weeks, you might end up receiving it in three months, that Is if it doesn't get missing at the end of the day. Tracking of the item will not even be updated.
Speedaf remains the best, followed by DHL,ups and fedex (they will ask you to pay huge extra money, but your item won't get missing and you will get real time tracking, they are only good for pricey items)
The last is Nipost(The least option ever, only good for worthless items, your chances of getting your items is 50/50,you can't get your items in three weeks even if it doesn't get lost in their custody)
mctfopt: You have to pay. No other way. Next time inform seller not to use FedEx or DHL. Let them use normal mail or Speedaf. No issues with custom duty that end.
The item I bought on Aliexpress, the seller shipped it using FedEx, FedEx sent me a mail to pay 37k for Customs duty and clearance. I have never experience this before since I have been buying on Aliexpress, the seller already charged a huge shipping fee on the item.
Please what do I do in this scenario, I never prepare I ll pay any additional fee.
For those that have successfully return item back to Aliexpress and get their money back, how did you go about it? Sometimes, partial refund will not just worth it for some items, except you get your money back in full.
I really want to learn from those who have made successful returns on Aliexpress
I was scrolling through my phone contact lists today, 95% of people on my contact lists have left Nigeria.
I believe if everybody do the same and check through their phone contact lists, they ll notice the same thing. People ll notice that 80 - 99% of their contact lists have japa from Nigeria.
With the look of things, Nigeria should be very scanty by now. I doubt if we can still get up to 20 million people that are still in Nigeria.
How are people in Nigeria even coping when everywhere is deserted, with empty streets, empty buildings with no occupants scattered everywhere?
