There are no evidence for now........until we play a team with attacking football, we will know where we stand.....I don't remember Evans being a CB, cause that guy is a liability to united defence........we are just benefiting from our good CDM's for now, the defence line has not be threatened much in our last matches.....

we still have Rojo & McNair, competent options.
The defensive set up has been solid so far I think, not just individuals - although Smalling & Blind have posted man of the match performances so far.

Bro, Rojo still has flaws occupying our CB, and i bet NcNair is not yet experienced enough to handle the CB position either....I think our defence is still a stone throw from SOLID..

my joy is damian, smalling and shaw has come good so far..........blind is still untested and that scares me........ with one signing, our defence would have been sorted out.....lets just hope for the best....and pray injuries doesn't tempt our defence cause i don't see how we will survive that......


having a feeling it will take one bad season for lvg to vacate that sit.........do i want this bad season maybe yes because if not we will end up doing the "arsenal" (9 years without a trophy)

This Otamendi deal is really killing......i dont understand the delay .... the guy said he wanted a transfer and i'm sure he prefers man utd....his price tag is not high.....i don't know why this deal is delaying i just hope other clubs don't snatch him up...

Di Maria to me,is at best with little restrain and allow to make dribbling runs from deep.
I don't think LVG wants to play this way.

and how was that different from what young played last season...di maria excelled in the wing....you can also recall that lvg used him at different position last season which maybe brought about his downturn..

he proved that in d 4 or 5 games he played at the starting of the season.......its still in him...he can progress in this league......he just needs time and i think this season is the time to prove his worth for man utd...........remember form is temporal but class is permanent

I am particularly happy with Schweinsteiger cuz @ least we can afford to have either he or Carrick injured & not feel the brunt of it.

once we secure Schneiderlin, we have more than enough options to compete well.

but I don't think Schweinsteiger & Carrick will feature from starts together especially in league games.

carrick and schneiderlin will play most of our league games and thats if we sign schneiderlin because he already knows how tough the league is... and carrick if he is fit will play.....cause of those sublime passes which he gives to break all those bus parkers clubs..... Schweinsteiger can play the champions league cause of his experience....and also sub with carrick in league so that he doesn't get injured or get fatigue.....

There is a big gap between paying peanuts and overpaying. I never said we should pay peanuts but in the case of Fellaini and Herrera we overpaid.

we overpaid for them (except fellani) because we didn't offer them European football ........let just say that was what hence that extra money...

Of course he is a very good player and probably going to be worth even more than that in the future but we fell into the bad habit of overpaying for players in the last 2 seasons.

Herrera a 24 yr old man, playing for Athletic Bilbao with ZERO Spanish caps was not worth (at that time) the 28m pounds or so we were bidding for him......nobody else would have paid that much for him.It made no sense that Fabregas and Herrera were going for roughly same amount of money

Fellaini's case is even more egregious, we were outbidding ourselves....nobody was in the pic with serious cash and intentions but we still allowed Everton to gba us.

Di Maria in my opinion was overpriced but there were extenuating circumstances in this case.

you expect us to pay peanuts when we're not offering them European football....

i think pedro is staying......he is still of use to us........he plays when we decide to rest one of our star forward......he will be of great use this season

It's 5-man defense in your thoughts only not on the pitch. It's 3-man defense and it cost us a lot last season till LvG got his sense back and reverted to 4-man defense.

its cost us because we didn't use the right players.......you can't use a winger like young and expect him to track back(which he dosen't do) when the opponent are with the ball....and that was valencia's flaw last season.............defenders who also attack are very suitable for that role.......shaw was a good example last season he use his pace to his advantage and also track back because he was a natural lb...alves is also an example....

i prefer d 4-man back line doh buh when the 3-5-2 formation is used perfectly.... its also very good
