My problem is that he's better off in the midfield than wings.

The fact is, we don't need our strikers to win the league or score goals before we win a game, we have so many creative players who can do that


Another fact is, no matter how slow or sluggish rooney is or may be, he's still sharp when it comes to scoring goals, I don't see rooney missing one on one chances when the opportunity presents itself for him, he scored some amazing goals last season and he can definitely do it again this season

Sure. Darmian has been good too.

There is fluidity in the middle with Teiger, Mata and Herrera, but there seem not to have a pointman to slip the ball to because Rooney drifts back.

The passing/Possession game we are playing is also slowing things down. It is responsible for the single shot on target. That and the inability of the midfielders to find Rooney in a scoring position.
