Hi, when did you start your process and when did they issue you the entry permit? I’ve been on this for months.

Yes there’s an update! A friend got entry permit this morning...

Sorry, I can only speak for university of Cyprus.
Don't have any idea about those institution.
All I know is that, any student coming for university wouldn't have visa issue.

It's the number university, in Cyprus.
It's the only government university.

Hence, immigration office give them advantage over others, which is understandable.

All those who applied to my university are done with there second semester presently.

I applied to Ledra....I have friends that applied to UNIC and Neapolis University. They are also waiting for Visa update...

Entry permit is a brownish letter from the migration ministry for those expecting visa.

If all applications are under evaluation; then allow the immigration to check all documents before issuing visa. That's what they meant.

Once they are through, they will issue the entry permit and instruct the embassy in Nigeria to give you visa. Covid is partly the reason for this delay.

Let's keep trying migration phone no and know what they are up to. This is really very tiring

Migration never answers their phone, been trying to reach them since last year. That says a lot about the visa delay and the kind of people we’re waiting for to decide, it’s crazy but what to do? We can only give it more time to see the outcome. My school said early February isn’t late, did you try to contact your school again? Maybe they have something new to say this time..

Am guessing you and agent didn't read the memo of the school regarding international students.
I also applies but for us and Canada. My student visa will be ready soon. Cos I choosed may entry and some October entry..

Are you saying you applied for schools in south Cyprus or just USA and Canada? Yes we are aware of the entry date, I don’t think anyone missed anything... More reason the applicants are confused..

Pls how can I apply for admission do Cyprus have a government website for that.

Search for schools in south Cyprus and go through their website to decide which one is best for your course and program. You can contact the school for information before you start your application.

I’ll advise you chill first until you’re sure they’ve started issuing visas again, else the school will hold your money while you will be here worrying over a situation you can’t help or control, its crazy..

To you all waiting for visa. The delay is actually from your documents the school submitted to the immigration.

Have your school write or hold a meeting with the immigration, and get the true state of your visa application with them.
If you allow the immigration deal with the discrepancies themselves, you would be waiting for long. Write your school and have them checkmate the immigration.

I can assure you, the issues will be resolved and entry permit issued in no time.

I contacted the school, they said they have greenlight from the migration and visas will be issued. That’s all they said.

South cyprus had officially announced that they will start reviewing students visa application for spring 2022 as from tomorrow which is 1st December. Hopefully we still waiting for an offer here will have a successful application
