uche henry agbo
ajiboye
elderson

I agree with u. Please if Rohr is thinking of dropping Aina instead of Echiejle, our captain Mikel should intercede on Aina's behalf because he was d one who convinced Aina to opt out for Nigeria and also, captains always have a big say in the final list. Mikel cannot turn blind eye to Echiejile's mediocrity na. Its too glaring that he has passed his prime

Unfit Everton Loanee Henry Sent To The Stands Again As Moment Of Truth Arrives
Everton loanee Henry Onyekuru is losing the race in his bid to make Nigeria's roster for the 2018 World Cup after he was left out of Anderlecht's matchday squad against Gent on Sunday evening.
It has been claimed that the one-cap Nigeria international is being frustrated from featuring for the Super Eagles in Russia as that would brighten his chances of getting a work permit to play for Everton rather than Anderlecht who have offered the striker a contract extension.
Belgian journalist Frédéric De Muynck believes those insinuations are far from the truth and the striker is not at loggerheads with Anderlecht manager, Hein Vanhaezebrouck.
''Henry Onyekuru has no problem with the coach. After the warmup he was sent to the stands, he wasn't on the bench, '' De Muynck told allnigeriasoccer.com .
''He and another guy, Edo Kayembe were told to be in the stands. The coach selects many players and preferred to put Kara Mbodj on the bench.''
Onyekuru has not played competitively for Anderlecht since December 22, 2017 after suffering a serious knee injury, and will have his heart in his mouth for most part of today, with the Nigerian Federation set to announce the Super Eagles provisional World Cup roster.

Once it is Saturday or weekend, my mind is always not at rest because most of our key players all over the world will be in action. I pray we dont have any injury casualties from now till worldcup. This worldcup should start already!!!

Exclusive: Rohr, NFF To Make Big Decision As Leicester's Ndidi Is Ruled Out For Six Weeks

Wilfred Ndidi will be on the sidelines for the next six weeks, Leicester City have confirmed Nigeria's worst fears before manager Gernot Rohr announces a 35-man provisional roster for the 2018 World Cup.
The central midfielder subbed out in the 51st minute of the Foxes 5-0 loss to Crystal Palace on April 28 due to a hamstring injury and scans conducted soon after the game at Selhurst Park have revealed the full extent of his injury.

Rohr and the Nigeria Football Federation have a big decision to make, whether to name Ndidi on the 23-man for the World Cup with the hope that he will be fit before Nigeria's first game against Croatia on June 16.

''Ndidi will be ready for the World Cup. The result of the scan is out, they will put him on a programme to get him back to fitness,'' a top source told allnigeriasoccer.com .

''He will initially be out of action for four weeks and will need two weeks extra to be fully fit.''

Only yesterday, Ndidi was named Leicester City's Young Player of the Season for the second year running, he was one of the key players for the Nigerian national team during the World Cup qualifiers.

Please house, any update on Ndidi's injury? I have not been myself since i heard about it. He is our main hope to track the bustling runs of Rakitic and Sirgudsson from midfield against Crotia and Iceland. If dat guy is not fit for d worldcup, Nigeria will be a lot weakened. He is not the top tackler in the top 5 leagues for nothing. That guy is as important to Nigeria as Mikel and VicMo. Please lets join hands and pray in church today for quick recovery..

Musa is out of rhythm. Agreed on the overall output of Ighalo but in the immediate context of his last five games I don't think he's done badly. Yes he should do more. He needs to.
Seriously Ighalo hasn't instilled confidence into most of us. Yes he has good holdup play plus dribbling skills, but at this stage, we need more dan that. We have tricky wingers that can dribble and a Mikel dat can hold up play. We need Ighalo to bang goals and not dribble. Bang goals!!. Its just 2months b4 world cup and he shud start scoring or else he might just end up as a backup to Obafemi Martins or any Nigerian striker in Red hot form. We all know dat top 9 position is very important and we have wingers or midfielders who doesn't score in high numbers. Infact our current wingers and midfielders can't guarantee u 10goals a season except probably Onyekuru and he is just coming back from injury. Ighalo please start banging goals!!! Happy Easter celebration everyone...

Dear....I really appreciate him for that.
for players like agbo he keeps inviting and not playing them...leaves me with worries...

I believe if we can just get our midfield and attack right....the problem wit the defense and goal keeping unit will be minimized.

especially in that striking option...I will want other players to be
tried...like dessers, umar even ajayi let's see what they bring to the table.....
but the dude is not complaining..neither is the coach..
his time I believe will come.....for now let him stick to the bench...
he is helping in trainings I believe...

This was ur exact statement few days ago about Agbo. Why are u now worried sir?

Any difference between training and a friendly game? If for anything Agbo can't feature in a friendly game, den why will he feature in a competitive game? Dis friendly is meant to promote the team chemistry as well as try players like him who hardly get game time in competitive games. Will u allow him go to the world cup and sit on the bench throughout wen his place can be given to another player dat is ready to fight and improve the team? If he doesn't play Serbia game, den sometin is wrong. Very simple

I do not post regularly on this thread. I, however just want to say this. I hope everyone can see this before the match.
If you know the team is not "good" or you have a prediction, please say it now o.
We don't want to be inundated with posts about how you predicted that they would beat us or how you've been saying it that the team is not good enough. We don't want to hear things like "if ___ had played, they would not have beaten us".
In short, no excessive chest beating or gloating. As a matter of fact, no self effacing as well, if you're also sure we'll beat them say it now.

Thanks.
Am very confident Nigeria will win 3-1. Its in all my bet tickets infact. Bookmark dis quote

The super eagles definitely need/deserve better scouting what are Elderson, Omeruo, Stephen Eze, doing in a friendly 2 months to the world cup?

In a country with a population of over 170million. Is that the best we can offer? What a shame? Kelechi and Iwobi should have started from the bench. This is the time to invite and test more players did nigerian's know Ebuehi or Idowu were good enough unit they were invited and tested.

One would expect Emmanuel Bonaventure Dennis (WF, CF),Cyriel Dessers (WF , CF) , Derik Osede (DC), K.Otigba (DC), Fanendo Adi (CF, ST), Azubuike Okechukwu (AM, MC), Sunday Stephen (DM, MC) (whom benched iniesta at spain U19, U20, U21), Ryan Sanusi and of course the (king) Simon Kalu (AM, WF).

Thank God Mikel Agu was not invited his intercepts are so low and man marking so poor, for a centeral or defending midfilder. Rohr wants to play 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1, but he has never invited a center forward (CF). If he takes this squad to the world cup Nigeria would be disgraced.

If Olarenwaju Kayode was continually called up to the Super Eagles without having a single shot on target then Fanendo Adi (Adi was signed permanently by the Portland Timbers on 23 June 2014. Where he became the club's fourth ever Designated Player) (Google Designated Player if you do not know the meaning) would do better.

Even Anthony Nwakeme would do better, if given more call-ups, He is so good at the Europa League.

Or is it Ighalo that would lead Nigeria to the Quarterfinal? Impossible.

Remember in 2014 Nigeria was the lowest scoring team in qualifying, and scoring was a big problem at the world cup. That is likely to repeat itself.

The midfield and the attack (NO.9) are Super Eagle's weakest links.
I would have supported you but don't ever mention Anthony Nwakaeme again pls

However, we have consistently bent over backwards publicly and behind the scenes. He has refused but nobody is asking for his head and calling him unsavoury names. Smacks of a double standard seemingly, I wonder why ❓ Particularly seeing the extent of hate speech Tega got.

I know some will not like this. I am not convinced that he is better than Dominic Iorfa.

House, i tink Super eagles RB/RWB depending on formation is the most competitive position in the team cos the 4 players competing for one(if its 3-5-2) or 2(if its 4-4-2) spots are all playing week in, week out for their various clubs. Shehu, Aina, Ebuehi, and Victor Moses. Final 23man list for the worldcup will really be tough for Rohr if all these players are fit come June. I guess Idowu will be happy and thanking his luck that he is a left footer and has only Pa Echiejile to contend with. The summary is that, Idowu has more chance to make the world cup list than Ola Aina cos even if the latter can play left back too, Rohr will always go for a natural specialist in that position...Goodmorning house
