Meliforme: Aina is a good player, and this is conspicuous.
We prefer Ebuehi at RB for the following reasons:
Ebuehi is best suited and more advanced in that role Ebuehi appears to have more education and training in that role than any, in the contemporary assemblage of SE players.
Ebuehi is more tidy in possession Giving the ball away more often puts more pressure on the team and most definitely will affect the implementation of tactics.
Ebuehi is less prone to errors Ebuehi's calm composure, concentration and reading of the game is worthy of note. These attributions are invariably the raison d'etre for the precision and astuteness we have seen in his games. little errors can prove to be very costly and can be the difference between victory and defeat. Ebuehi appears to have more education/training in Rb role than Aina how? Are you forgetting Aina's root? Someone that cut his teeth in one(if not the best) of the best academy in the world at Cobham Chelsea?? Ebuehi seems to be more tidy in possession like u highlighted but Aina seems to have that robustness and physicality that suits African games. You said Ebuehi is less prone to errors, but I bet if it was Aina that gave a penalty away to Iceland which sirgudson missed at the last worldcup, u would have demanded his head. Aina has not really made any error leading to goal or threat to goal recent games but some people just want him out and Ebuehi in. Well, your wish might be granted on Tuesday |

andrewbaba44: Lol . Assuming it was Ebuehi that had same performance as Aina on Friday, he would have been called the "next Trent Arnold" here. But Aina only gets criticism. Its beginning to look somehow. The truth be told, recent games Ebuehi played for super eagles, he was not that special as people want to paint it here. They just want to see the lad play and that's okay. But don't criticize someone that is clearly trying |

andrewbaba44: Show me where I have dissEd ebuehi while he was playing for the eagles just like you guys did against aina or keep shut.
Where did any of you even have time to rate the players performance, instead you choose to diss one person and catch fun with it
Who is speaking of 10/10 here ,even a player with brace won’t be rated 10/10
I no Dey watch ball with sentiments ,saying it with my full chest I really don't understand why some people criticize Aina here. He did very well in the last game. Even better than some players. Yet it is his name they will call even if he gets a cleansheet as a defender. Maybe they want him to be scoring to be satisfied or maybe he should bleach and have Ebuehi's color so that they will let him be. One guy above even said he plays better at Lb than Rb all in the means to shift Aina out of that Rb and fix ebuehi. I just dey laff |

minfelix: Can you imagine....is it the same Cape Verde I watched against C.A.R yesterday?....we will only have the exclusion of Etebo Iwobi Iheanacho Ndidi Ekong. If we cannot beat Cape Verde at home with at least 1-0 then then super eagles and rohr should just GETAT, we are simply not good then....what will Cape Verde play compare to what we saw Benin rep played in their home The main fear is that these guys you mentioned are Rohr's main core players. They have been around for a while and knows how to navigate tricky away fixtures on African soil. Well, let's see the new boys. The Kingsley Michael, Innocent Bonke and Co. I pray they withstand Cape Verde antics |

After we go say we get bundle of talents ,so Na only epl get the part of our talented players ba ? Boss am just saying my mind sha. A super eagle line up without Ndidi, Ekong, Iheanacho, Etebo, Iwobi kinda looks ordinary. Well, let's hope for the best. But am sure Cape Verde are happy by that development |

JayromWrites: Paul's gameplay is suspect I swear
If not for the goal, he would have had a bad game
Certainly not someone I will like to lead the line for Nigeria from the start
He scored a nice goal though Apart from the goal, Someone that barely played 15mins in a game that was devoid of creative spark to attackers had a bad game? Dude he just played 15mins and he even scored with his only chance. Just say u don't fancy him |

Oasis001:

This Thread sha. I keep seeing posts rating Ebuehi ahead of Aina and I wonder if I watched a different Match. I didn't see anything spectacular in his Play, but trust Dudes to exaggerate.
Onuachu was cussed to hell, two Goals in 2 Matches this Week no be Beans. I swear. I watched 90mins of this game and I didn't see anything spectacular Ebuehi did. He just had a normal quiet game cos Lesotho didn't even pose any threat. Sometimes I wonder if dudes here worship him because of skin color. He had an Okay game. Not a performance that would make Aina not start next time as some people are claiming |

The truth is that, anybody that wins the Nigeria vs Algeria game will be favorite for the title irrespective of whoever wins this Senegal vs Tunisia game. A Senegalese team without Koulibaly in the final is alot weakened. This Tunisia team is bunch of mediocre players. |

Odinaka00: You are missing the point, Bafana team was very fantastic against Egypt last night. Not just that they scored a goal but they created a lot of chances and made more attempts more than the Egyptians.. They didnt fear the Pharos, they played like warriors. Super Eagles could have played with jittery if it were them that played against Egypt last night.
Their defence was solid and I just pray and hope that Super Eagles strikes can penetrate through that defence cuz those defenders are super fast and quick that's why Salah didn't play anything.
I pray we win them on Wednesday though. When you are discussing football try and drop sentiment aside and focus on reality if you 're a true soccer fan Why won't South Africa be fearless wen they know they have nothing to lose? They came into the match as the least of all the 16 teams in the round of 16(4th best 3rd place team). They know if they lose to Egypt, it will not be a news so naturally they would be fearless and enjoy their game. Against Nigeria they would be more under pressure because they are no more regarded as underdogs in the competition eventhough Nigeria will be favorite for the tie. |
