Christianity Etc › Re: Yes, Christ Was Really Born On December 25 by SalC: 7:00pm On Dec 25, 2014
I have been waiting for this thread! Now this is well detailed.
I would love to see the anti-25th dec Christmas fellows join this discussion, and counter it if possible.

I think we have so listened to those who are more interested in telling us that everything we do is wrong and forgot to do some research.

I may not have known all these but I must say this is more of a detailed research than anything I've read before now.

Bookmarked for further study.

Wish the mods will place this on the homepage.

Christianity Etc › Re: Is Jesus Christ A Palestinian? by SalC: 6:26pm On Dec 25, 2014
That's his personal opinion but doesn't make it entirely right.
Jesus is not a palestinian when you speak of his real identity, even the name palestine never existed during Christ's time on earth but he was born the present day palestine

Rich4god:
Need a little advice here... How can one manage this scenario... You belong to a group, say a business group for instance. Then something bad happened and virtually all the group member decide to visit a shrine so as to determine who or what caused it. Now, the chief priest demanded that every member of the must have to be present during finding/ritual or atleast accept and agree on the ritual that is about to be performed so as to determine who or what is responsible for what happend to the group. Now, as a christian, how will you handle this... Cos if you refuse to accept or attend the ritual, the ritual cannot take place(according to the chief priest) and the other members of the group might think that you have something that you are hiding. And on the other hand, am pretty sure that its against one's faith to participate in such....
Now this is one difficult situation but moreover, it is also a test of your faith,
I will advice such person to insist on not going or endorsing such. Yes others may or not think you are responsible for what happened but as far as your conscience is clear, let them think what they will. It's even better the priest or native doctor said the absence of one member is enough to stop the process, so your absence and refusal to endorse such activity will stop them from going ahead, let them go for a more civil way of solving the group problems and not resort to consulting the priest.

It may not be easy, but you've got to insist.

how will you see what is wrong in what pope said, you can't see it. how will you see when you are in darkness and where their is no light.

Matthew 15:14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
Of all people, I will be mistaken to care about what you continuously imagine,

How will anything be wrong with what the pope said. undecided
Disagreeing with the pope isn't it the same thing as disagreeing with God? undecided undecided undecided

Ensure you spend eternity wherever with some goats, pigs, dogs etc.
You spent decade here seeing goats and pigs, if it so pain you to see them in eternity, then please forfeit your eternity. As for me if God decides to let them spend eternity with me, they are very much welcomed.
Christianity Etc › Re: Pope Francis: 'all Animals Go To Heaven' by SalC: 3:06pm On Dec 12, 2014
Well am yet to see what's wrong with what the pope said.

Besides this isn't even a doctrinal issue. I think. Anyone who doesn't agree with the pope should first disagree with Paul.

Do any of the worthless idols of the nations bring rain? Do the skies themselves send down showers?
No, it is you, Lord our God.  Therefore our hope is in you, for you are the one who does all this. Jer 14:22

May God who provide us with the good things of life, provide for you that which your heart desire most this day, may he shower you with the rain of favour, the rain of blessings, the rain that will cause your heart desire to be fulfilled.

Good morning brethren and do have a fulfilled day ahead smiley

l doubt if we still have Block Rosary Centre as we had back then, we had Centres on each street and we did sing Marian songs loudly on the streets on our way back home at night. cheesy
There are still block rosary centres around, though am not sure they are as much as they were then.
