If you think the dating of Christ birth then was done using the present gregorian calender, please wake up. The first, third, eight month as used in that passage doesn't mean January march etc. Do well to study the jewish and roman calender, then compare it to the julian and gregorian calender used today. You will discover that your dating is wrong.
Shalom. |

aim5: Damn this is why the world views Africans as being ignorant. Christmass means the death or dismissal of Christ. The whole concept of Christmas is pagan and I don't get how you people can't grasp it. Guy shift joor, it's your ilks who make the world think Africans backward for making baseless assumptions. Even after showing you the meaning of mass is "to be sent" you keep clutching on straws. Well so far no one has proved Christmas is a pagan celebration or the concept, all I keep seeing is a continuous baseless chant. |

aim5: And to add to Janetozi, mass means a death sacrifice. Plus Christmas is in the sign of Capricorn, a sign ruled by Saturn/Satan. The baphomet is also associated with this sign. Mass is the central act of worship in the life of a Catholic. Going to Mass is about spending time with God, but also receiving his graces (inner strength to live the Christian life). The name ‘Mass’ comes the final blessing said by the priest in Latin ‘Ite missa es’ meaning “to send out” as Jesus Christ sent his disciples out to the world to take his teaching to them. http://www.thepapalvisit.org.uk/The-Catholic-Faith/FAQ-on-Faith/1-10/What-is-a-Catholic-MassI wonder how people come about the information they pass on. ChokolateBoss: The truth? Mass = death sacrifice? Xmas is in d sign of capricon? Capricon is associated with baphomet and ruled by saturn/satan? Hahahahahahahahaha. LOL again. Mehn I tire o |

emjoe1: . Pls how can you reconcile the fact that Jesus lived for 33yrs and 1/2 which pple commomerate around March or April every year with him being born in 25th December? Kindly enlighten me, because I'm still confused about that, I have been reading that Jesus lived for 33 years I don't know of the half but I believe by calculation, he must have lived some months more. Maybe you should provide me with an ancient documentation to buttress your point. |

Takara: If you know the year just tell me. That jesus was born in so so year. Is that so difficult? If I do, that would be my own thought which might be different from that of the op, you asked for that of the Op, he put it up there and I am not the Op that's why I said you should read, if you disagree, you can go ahead and counter the year he mentioned. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Yes, Christ Was Really Born On December 25 by SalC: 10:28pm On Dec 26, 2014 |
aim5: How is it fact that he was born on the 25th? The 25th symbolizes the shortest day of the year and after Christmas, the Sun stays up a bit longer into the Spring Equinox. There's too much Pagan stuff surrounding Saturnalia/Christmas for one to call it a Christian holiday. Like seriously we should give up a day created by God because the usually is a pagan celebration on that day? Smh |

TheoneandOnlyMe: Are you sure you read it? Or you just wanted to make a 'comment' Maybe I should be asking you same, he already stated that the winter solstice celebration ends on 22-23rd Dec and doesn't even extend to 25th that is what you should counter. |

ChokolateBoss: Lol. I guess u didn't read d topic well. Honestly I'm fed up with ignorant folks like u just circulating ignorant crap. What reputable historian can u site as ur source? Have u done any careful research or are u just circulating baseless urban myth?
If anyone cares to engage in a scholarly logical debate about d issue at length citing authoritative sources, u're welcome let's roll. I have a lot of strength for this. The fact that an urban myth is repeated 1million times does not make it true. The theory that Christmas is just a refurbished pagan festival is just a bag of worthless excrement. Who can prove it? I'll like to see u try I would love to read your own line of thought too. |

Takara: @op since you are convinced Of the date of birth of Jesus, can you please tell us the year. I mean December 25 of which year? Unless you want to tell us that you know the month and the day but you cannot confidently mention the year! You see your life If you read his first few posts, you won't be asking this question, he did put up a year. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Yes, Christ Was Really Born On December 25 by SalC: 10:14pm On Dec 26, 2014 |
aim5: Still, I doubt Christ was born on that day. September or March seems more plausible. Seems? And that's all you have and yet you discard facts? |

I am yet to see anyone put up a sound post to counter the op so far, all I see is simply repetition of the usual chant of 25th is not Christ's birthday |
