Neoguru1: so you dont know what is mekwota? All this efulefus, let me educate you, mekwota means do things together, if you are using google translate, I pity you because u ar nt true Igbo. I think you are the one who is wrong here. It should be "mekota" not "mekwota" and it should even be " na-emekota" not " ne mekwota". |

Neoguru3: May be you have processing deficiency, I never said he did not have the right to contest, I am asking my people not to vote him. QED This too doesn't make sense. Since you know he has the right to contest, why ask people not to vote for him? Do you know him in person? Do you have anything against him other than being a northerner? Do you also create theeads on NL asking the yorubas not to vote an igbo candidate when igbos contest for positions in south west? Pls stop this already, the Ebonyians will choose whomever they deem fit to lead them. And don't drag the entire igbo nation into this mess of an opinion. |

Kamsified: Go ahead nne. I know d elders are not far away Believe me, this question is not just for the elders but for all of us. You see, every now and then i see people preaching or at least striving to do God's will and worship him. At closer observation i noticed it's usually for two main reasons. 1) Because we want to please him and thereby obtain the good things he promised those who serve and worship him here on earth and also to inherit his kingdom in the hereafter. 2) Because we are scared of disobeying him and ending up in hell or being eternally destroyed as the case maybe. Now my question is,..What if God never promised us any reward especially inheriting his kingdom or eternal joy. What if he never said anything about eternal damnation but only demand we do good and worship him because he created us and is deserving of our love obedience and worship. Can we truly worship him if the above is the case? To re-phrase, can we worship God without expecting anything in return? I need personal answers. |

SuperBlack: Tell me about it People were existing on earth before Jesus Christ, all those years as far as recorded before Christ are termed BC or BCE, and all the years after his existence are termed AD or ACE. So we are in 2017AD or ACE. So probably that statue existed some 1000 years before Christ's existence. |

Am just happy to be among fellow Catholics and I hope we help each other grow in the faith...

Syncan: She is very much female. Indeed she dey try. As per how she de manage her time...I guess she herself could tell us. Thanks for the clarification As for managing time, i think i just squeeze out time inbetween schedules to peep into NL every now and then. Whatever it was that kept making me sound masculine is beyond my comprehension Sal is a daughter of Zion joor And my presence on Nairaland is just a case of addiction. NL seem to be the only site i visit often. |
