Assuming without conceding that is the case, so is it the back of his knees that would be wet and not the bum area? So if he wetted his babariga, he would not cover it and would still move to be flat to greet the Awujale of Ijebuland in the full glare of everyone present? It was the usual photoshop manipulations and shallow mental agility that pushed them to dispense a feeble narrative that made no iota of sense.
Politics2023: Tinubu Healthy, Photoshop Of Wet Dress Mere Distraction, Says Group by salesbloo(op): 10:42pm On Feb 13, 2022
A pro-Bola Tinubu coalition, the Support Groups Management Council, says the viral photograph of the All Progressives Congress leader pictured in a wet dress is the work of mischief-makers.

In a statement on Sunday, the coalition said the viral photo was manipulated, noting that Tinubu is healthy and physically fit to be Nigeria’s President in 2023, contrary to claims by propagandists.

Tinubu had on Saturday visited some top traditional rulers in Ogun State including the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, to seek royal blessing on his presidential ambition.

Photo of Tinubu wet around his lower region had surfaced online with many saying the APC leader is suffering from a urinary condition.

But in its statement signed by its Director of Media and Publicity, Biodun Ajiboye, the pro-Tinubu group described the claim as false.

The statement was titled, ‘Evildoers, destroyers of destiny are at it again’.

It partly read, “The success Asiwaju Tinubu recorded at these high-level visitations to top traditional rulers had again led enemies of progress, the brewers of hate, discord and disharmony to script a dirty tale to discredit this awesome outing. This time it is that he wetted his dress!

“Yet as their video showed, it was after their wetting incident that he went ahead and prostrated to Kabiyesi.

PoliticsSanwo-olu Signs Bills Establishing Two More Varsities In Lagos by salesbloo(op): 7:34pm On Feb 02, 2022
Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Wednesday, signed the bills for the establishment of additional two universities in the State – Lagos State University of Education (LASUED) and Lagos State University of Science and Technology.

He assented to the bills transmitting Lagos State Polytechnic in Ikorodu, Isolo, and Surulere campuses to the University of Science and Technology as well as Adeniran Ogunsanya Colleges of Education, Ijanikin and Michael Otedola College of Primary Education, Epe to Lagos State University of Education.

The signing ceremony, which took place at the Lagos House, Marina, was witnessed by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Education, Mr. Tokunbo Wahab and Commissioner for Justice and Attorney-General, Mr. Moyosore Onigbanjo (SAN), members of the Governing Councils and management staff of the tertiary institutions, among others.

Speaking after signing the bills, Sanwo-Olu said Lagos and its indigenes are now blessed with two additional universities to the existing Lagos State University, established in 1982 by the first Executive Governor of Lagos State, the late Alhaji Lateef Jakande.

He said, “We are doing this very quickly because we need to take this law to the National Universities Commission (NUC), that will do their due diligence and we are believing they will give us a timely approval when all of us will go and receive the certificates for the establishment of the two universities.

“We believe that the transmission will be smooth. We believe that the process would be without any hindrance. We believe that we will do a good job at ensuring that what is best is the only thing that we do for Lagos. I feel so delighted and proud of all of us creating history today and I believe that indeed generations coming after us will remember this very bold, audacious decision that we have taken.

“The two institutions that have now been transmitted into universities are institutions that have produced professionals, students, lecturers among other notable men and women in our society. I feel what we have done is a proper thing for the existing staff, both academic and non-academic, and more importantly for the students today and the future students that would be coming in to be able to recreate their future and be in a position that we are turning out the leaders of tomorrow.”

peaking earlier, Wahab said the establishment of the Lagos State University of Education and Lagos State University of Science and Technology, will solve issues relating to admission for Lagos State citizens.

Wahab also commended Governor Sanwo-Olu for putting his full weight behind the establishment of the two additional universities. He also appreciated the Lagos State House of Assembly led by Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa for believing in the process.

CareerCNN President Jeff Zucker Resigns by salesbloo(op): 6:02pm On Feb 02, 2022
CNN president Jeff Zucker announced his resignation on Wednesday for failing to disclose a romantic relationship with a colleague at the US cable television network.

“I certainly wish my tenure here had ended differently,” Zucker said in a message to the network’s employees. “But it was an amazing run. And I loved every minute.”

CNN Worldwide president Jeff Zucker, the influential news executive who reshaped the iconic network, abruptly announced Wednesday morning that he has resigned from his position effective immediately.

"As part of the investigation into Chris Cuomo's tenure at CNN, I was asked about a consensual relationship with my closest colleague, someone I have worked with for more than 20 years," Zucker told employees in a memo. "I acknowledged the relationship evolved in recent years. I was required to disclose it when it began but I didn't. I was wrong. As a result, I am resigning today."
Zucker did not name his colleague in the memo, but the relationship is with Allison Gollust, the chief marketing officer for CNN. Gollust is remaining at CNN.
In a memo of her own, Gollust said, "Jeff and I have been close friends and professional partners for over 20 years. Recently, our relationship changed during COVID. I regret that we didn't disclose it at the right time. I'm incredibly proud of my time at CNN and look forward to continuing the great work we do everyday."
News of Zucker's resignation left staffers inside the network in shock. Employees at the company learned of his sudden departure in the memo Zucker sent to staff shortly after 11 a.m. ET.
In an email to staffers sent shortly after Zucker's, Jason Kilar, the CEO of CNN parent WarnerMedia, said, "I have accepted Jeff Zucker's resignation as Chairman of WarnerMedia News and Sports, and President of CNN Worldwide. We thank Jeff for his contributions over the past 9 years."
Kilar added, "We will be announcing an interim leadership plan shortly. Both of these organizations are at the top of their respective games and are well prepared for their next chapters."
Zucker is one of the most powerful and influential executives in the media industry. His abrupt resignation comes as WarnerMedia is in the process of merging with Discovery. It also comes as CNN plans to launch a streaming service, CNN+, in the Spring.
Zucker took over CNN in 2013, at a time when industry observers said the network was facing an identity crisis.

Zucker revamped the network's programming. A veteran of NBC, where he climbed from a producer on the "Today" show to president of the entire network, Zucker brought an eye for news and talent. He also brought a hands-on management style and gained the trust and respect of talent and staffers throughout the network.

In recent years, Zucker led the network as it faced sustained attacks from former President Trump and his supporters. Under Zucker, CNN adopted a "Facts First" slogan and approach to the news and was unrelenting in calling out Trump for his lies.

The approach turned Zucker into a villain for Trump, with the then-president lashing out at him during his years in office. Zucker also became a regular boogeyman in right-wing media, with Fox hosts viciously attacking him in prime time.

It was all evidence of Zucker's larger-than-life status in the news business and influence over the broader discourse in American politics.

Foreign AffairsBiden To Nominate Black Woman To Supreme Court by salesbloo(op): 8:22pm On Jan 27, 2022
President Biden on Thursday said he would nominate a Black woman to serve on the Supreme Court to replace the retiring Justice Stephen Breyer, following through on a key campaign pledge.

Biden announced Breyer’s retirement during an event with the jurist at the White House, with the president saying he planned to pick a nominee before the end of February.

“I’ve made no decision except one: The person I will nominate will be someone with extraordinary qualifications, character experience and integrity,” Biden said. “And that person will be the first Black woman ever nominated to the United States Supreme Court. It’s long overdue in my view. I made that commitment during my campaign for president, and I will keep that commitment.”

Biden said he would consult with senators from both parties, leading legal scholars and Vice President Harris before settling on a nominee, praising Harris as an “exceptional lawyer” and noting her experience as California attorney general and a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

“I will listen carefully to all the advice I'm given, and I'll study the records and former cases carefully,” Biden said. “I’ll meet with the potential nominees, and it is my intention — my intention — to announce my decision before the end of February. I have made no choice at this point.

“Once I select a nominee, I will ask the Senate to move promptly on my choice,” the president said. “In the end, I will nominate a historic candidate, someone who’s worthy of Justice Breyer’s legacy.”

Breyer on Thursday also officially confirmed his upcoming retirement, which was first reported the previous day. He said in a letter to Biden he plans to leave after the Supreme Court’s current term concludes this summer and after his successor has been confirmed by the Senate.

The 83-year-old justice's decision to step down gives Biden an opportunity to solidify the three-person liberal wing of the Supreme Court with a younger nominee and the chance to diversify its ranks.
