Hello good afternoon guys, please I need your advice, I called my senator and he asked me to send my CV to his secretary which i did, I called him two weeks later to ask how far and if I could get the secretary's number, but he said I would have to meet her at the office, I don't even know where the office is, the first time I called he said I shouldn't bother coming since I'm married with a baby, please what should I do

I woke up at night on 25th feeling mild period pains but I just felt it was normal because I asked my doctor possibility of falling into labor soon and she said I'm a FTM so I should not expect it. By Sunday the pain was still there. I took my bath and decided to walk to church which is 30minutes away from my house. I didnt feel any pain through out service and the entire day. Before then I had been struggling with high bp since I got to 33 weeks and I was just tired of taking drugs. The contractions continued on Monday but I ignored it. By tuesday, my brother-in-law's fiancé who's a doctor adviced that I should go and get checked to be on a safe side. So I went, and behold I was 3cm. The nurse asked if I wanted to be admitted or I'll come back later. I opted to go home instead. Ah I went and too Lipton with lots of sugar and walked and danced and did all I could do, when I went back with hubby and SIL, I was 5cm, I was just glad that I was progressing, but they came to check my bp after noticing my swollen legs and it was 180/110(thanks to Lipton) so I took my drugs again and kept singing through contractions, by evening my mum and sister came and were praying o. After I got to 8cm I stopped progressing and cervix was still thick after 3 injections to soften it, I was already tired and thinking of my baby that may be under stress, after 24 hours of labor we asked for induction. Ahhhhh my fellow mummies I didnt know what I asked for. I shouted and screamed and told the nurses to remove it oo I want CS, I kept asking for cs but no one answered me, after a while I wanted to poo and I did (LOL) the nurse came and cleaned me then asked me to push, my prince charming came out after 3 pushes weighing 2.5kg and giving me minor tears. I was so overwhelmed when he was placed on my stomach. I got cleaned and stitched. We got discharged after 4 hours. I've had so much help my mom, MIL, SIL, my sis everyone has been pampering me.

Good morning dear mummies. I want to share a testimony o. I've been feeling weak, always thirsty( water in my dispenser lasts two days o. Just me and DH), once I sit for long my bum will start aching, if I drive for long my right leg and thigh will ache badly. But I didn't think too deeply about all those. I just felt it was part of my package. So one day my sister saw me and was like I'm beginning to look and act like our late sister before she died ( she had bad diabetes and later died of postpartum hemorrhage) I just took it as a joke o. I don't know what just laid it in my heart to google why I was always thirsty, but google suggested gestational diabetes ahhh I quickly said God forbid and decided to ignore negative thoughts, but the next day I decided to just try avoiding my daily dose of sugary food which quite a lot. I didn't tell oga any of this o, he will just say I'm being negative and tell me everything will be fine. Kai the next day ba I felt like a baby, I slept all through the night and only woke up once to pee. Unlike before when I used to wake up to pee and drink water almost 4 times in one night. My energy came back, no more body aches. In fact I feel so good. Gestational diabetes is a silent killer and it becomes worse after pregnancy please let's do well to check our sugar levels. Sorry for my long epistle o

Hello everyone, this is a wonderful thread. Please my Pontiac Vibe 2003 just stopped three weeks ago and my mechanic said it was a faulty oil pump. But he has changed 4 oil pumps but says its still faulty and he is advising me to buy a new engine, please is there another option for me?

My fellows sisters.....I am writing this with a heavy heart and I know it is only miracle from God that can help my situation.

I went for scan and I was really expecting to see my baby but the man that did scan for me said he can see a gestational sac but no foetal pole yet.He concluded that maybe my body is taking its time to form the baby and I told him my last period was on Nov 21st and he said I shouldn't panic that some bodies take time in making the baby grow that I should just make sure I eat well and take folic acid daily and I shouldn't stress myself and I should repeat scan in four weeks time.

I am just sad at the moment....Though my husband is trying to cheer me up still I am not myself.
