In what seems to be her very first time, the mother of Abubakar Shekau, the leader of the dreaded Islamic sect, Boko-Haram finally speaks with regards to the whereabout of her son and her believe towards his disastrous act.

Speaking with the Hausa service of the Voice Of America, Mrs. Abubakar Falmata said that she can’t curse her son since she don’t know if that’s God path for him though she can see the serious difficulty he have put people into but prays that God guides him right.

According to PremiumTimes, Shekau’s father was previously the Chief Imam of the Shekau village in Yobe state before his death and since the beginning of the Boko Haram menace, the village have been hiding it identity in order not to be tag a terrorist community or associate.

Narrating her ordeal, Mrs. Falmata said that she haven’t seen her son for Fifteen years now since he left his community for Maiduguri as an “Almajiri” in search of food where he met the late sect leader, Yusuf Abubakar.

“I don’t know whether he is dead or alive, only God knows, I have not seen him in the last 15 years,

I did not set my eyes on him since he came into contact with Mohammed Yusuf,

I know he is my son, and everyone knows a mother’s love for her son, but our attitude to life is different,” She said.

She also said “He has put so many people in serious difficulty, I pray that God guides him right”.

Mrs. Falmata said she will not curse his son, saying “he has chosen a path different from the one we put him on, only God knows what he has become now”.

Abubakar Shekau is the dreaded terrorist leader of Boko Haram whose the Nigerian Army have laid claims to have killed several times and since his assumption of office as the head of the group, over twenty thousand people are estimated to have been killed.

And he was recently spotted praying and anointing various categories of individuals with Olive oil.

While almost everyone is praying and wishing for same opportunity with regards to the recent happenings between Davido and his Chioma,the Porsche car, the “Assurance” release etcetra, it seems not everyone is of the same opinion of tapping into this blessing as popular writer, Peppy Chidinmma took to her social media account to share the fake aspect of Davido’s profess love for Chioma.
