Someone said the schoos have representatives at the embassy? Please how true is this. If so, the embassy is supposed to answer student visa faster. Schools should put pressure on them to give their As most people for February intake are still expecting visa grant. Resumption is at the corner. Most can't meet up with orientation week. NA only Assessment in Progress person they see. Hopefully plenty visa grants we fall in this coming week. May you/I be counted among those IJN (Amen)

Good morning my people

I trust we're all doing well.

Well, i've been pained and terribly heartbroken in recent days. Its really been tough since I got the disappointing news last week, But God has seen me through.

A few of you will probably know me from some of my comments and contributions made here. I just felt I should let you guys in on what has happened so far . . . it may be of help to someone.

Okay . . . I got admission to Deakin University (AL1) for a Masters in Business Analytics program to resume July 31, 2017.

I applied for the visa on June 15, 2017. Documents submitted are as follows:

1. Medicals submitted on June 22, 2017.
2. Academic documents including BSc certificate, WAEC, IELTS.
3. Resume
4. Employment letter dated Dec 15, 2011 evidencing my employment to one of the commercial banks in Nigeria.
5. Promotion letter.
6. Birth Certificate
7. Study Leave letter issued by my Bank
8. Registered Survey and Title documents of my land somewhere here in Lagos.
9. Salary Pay slips.
10. My Tax clearance letter showing my tax payments since I was employed.
11. Sworn Affidavit of sponsorship of my mom
12. My mom's school bank account statement, showing annual inflows of school fees payments.

My mom was my sponsor and she's the owner of a school here in Lagos. I provided incorporation documents, school fees receipts, notarised management account documents showing the revenue and expense profile of the school.

13. Title documents to a property owned by my mom which is rented out as well.
13. Rental receipts and account statement showing receipt of the rent annually.
14. Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) Statement.

The Case Officer is just mean. Upon all this document you submitted. After-all you are paying millions of Naira as tuition fee and its not free. Don't give up on your dream.God knows best. So painful men

This Australian embassy guys are funny? What do they mean that Nigerians don't want to study at one school or the other even after getting admitted and payment of tuition fees. Maybe they think it's easy to pay millions of naira. They don't even consider the stress in all this. Anyways, No be their fault. Na naija wey dey upside down. Vicjustice:

The Australian immigration does not share common database with with any of these countries that you mentioned, so it's highly unlikely that they would find out about your UK incident. However, you would be required to answer questions like "have you ever applied for a visa for any country, was the visa issued?"
"Have you ever been refused a visa for any country?
"
So, what would you answer to these questions?
Bear in mind that the fact that they do not share a common database does not mean that they do not share intelligence.
Thanks for the response Sir
What if I say yes for that of the UK denier and come plain since I already got my bsc with a 1st class in Cyprus. Please what do you think I should do. I don't want to be denied for misrepresentation.

Hello Mr Vicjustice,
Please I am in a dilemma :
I have questions based on my profile.
I have been denied US visa, twice in 2009 and once in 2012. First denial was on educational purposes while second was on visiting.
I have also be denied UK visa in 2008 based on the submission of falsified WAEC document which i wasn't aware of. I applied again in 2010 and was also denied based on the first denier. The second denier stated,a 10 years ban have been applied since my first denier.
I have then studied in Cyprus for my Bsc and graduated with a 1st class in 2013. I have also been to Germany for a conference in 2012.
MY QUESTION: I am planning to go for my Msc in Australia for Febuary 2018. Hope the UK and US denier wont affect my VISA application?
Please I need an urgent response

When coming to study in Australia, please if you plan to work and study, try to get some skills before coming. When I say some skills, I mean skills like knowing how to drive, how to barb, hairdressing skill. U can easily get a job if you have worked at supermarkets or if you have logistic, marketing and public relation skills. These skills can get you a job within 5days. Generally, Australians are good and friendly people. Food is cheap, but rent is affordable if you can get a friend to share with. But it is somewhat costly if you depend on work to pay your tuition and rent. But, you will survive it if you are hulk hogan kind of person. People do that here. As per school, you ll be glad you come if you eventually get the visa. Before I got here. In my case, I waited for my visa for about 4months and I got it when I was expected to resume in two days time. I had to travel immediately, with air ticket cost of about 800k because I bought it the same day I got the visa and I had to travel the following day. I couldn't take my local food, but I found lovely places I could get my Amala and semo here in Australia. Again, I left with small dollar, I didn't know anyone here, but through the help of Nigerian students association, I got a place the same day I got there for 130 dollar for a week before moving to my rented apartment. Concerning learning here, I wish I had studied in Australia since I was born. Several development and training programmes organised to integrate student into the academic world. But as Nigerians, you will cope since they speak clear English. Let me add that I got 9 different scholarships (2 in Australia). I didn't have a first class but I made good grades and I applied for them directly to my school. When I was leaving home, I had to borrow a lot to pay for medical, visa fee, insurance and even air ticket, just to fulfil my dream. Please don't allow anything to stop you. You can search for scholarship if you intend to enroll for a PhD course, regardless of the course or area of research study. Mine was in Philosophy. You have 95percent chance to learn all you need to succeed in life in Oz. Where I work here in Nigeria before travelling, my annual salary was 400k, but here while studying my monthly stipend gives me almost twice my annual salary in a month. So ask me: Why won't I study? Please do the best you can and pursue your dream. And let me say this: pray, work and don't forge your documents. Say the truth in your visa application---truthfulness is what has worked for me and for others that I have met here in Australia....I'd feel I owe you guys my testimony and advice.
Nice write up. I like people that love others to join them in the train of success. God bless you. For people expecting and those planning to fulfill their Australia dream. It will come to pass by Gods grace.God is the master planner. Will we all succeed.

It will be ok to apply for your Student Visa my dear, I hope your Mum has good inflow and outflow and also a source of her income that is verifiable with documents to show for it. You are good to go from my own point of view.
My mum is a retired nurse that has worked abroad for a long time. Only her past document and payslips can presented with her landed document. She now does medical consultation. No CAC, No tax clearance certificate or whatever. Hope this will not affect the application? Thanks for the response

I just got a conditional offer from an Al1 Australian university, to pay around 17000aus dollars as 1st semester tuition. The school is requesting for bank statement in other to issue COE. The question i have now is regarding the Bank statement. My calculation shows that after paying the 1st semester tuition fee, from my moms bank statement showing like 14m, i will be left with like 9m to apply to the embassy. Will the 9m be okay for the embassy application?
