chrisosi:Have you paid for the supplementary form?. |
The post UTME and HND result of the just concluded aptitude test screening for admission into Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Owerri, Imo state has been released online. Though the school management did not specify whether a scatch card is needed or not but information reaching me confirms that a scratch card is needed to check your result. To check the results online, 1. candidates are to purchase the result checking cards which contain the pin code (It should be less than #2000 inclusive of bank commission) from any of the following banks, preferrably in Owerri, Imo state.: - UBA Bank, - Fidelity Bank - Zenith Bank. 2. Visit the school portal HERE 3. Choose your category, i.e. post HND or ND. 4. Enter name and click the Search button. 5. After you have seen your name, enter the PIN and click the "login" button, then print your result. Let's make this the official thread by posting all relating information concerning the admission process for 2014/2015 academic session. |

blizard44:True but Professor Grace Alele-Williams is hale and hearty, By God's grace she'll be 82 by December. |
hybeenoni:It was in 1963 she obtained her Ph.D in mathematics from University of Chicago. |
hybeenoni:Professor Grace Alele-Williams is the first female to receive a Ph.D in Mathematics. She is also the first female Professor in Mathematics, also the first female VC of a university. She is the first female to receive a Ph.D degree in general. |
I've been following this thread from the very begining. Samuel FUTO 2014 Undecided on state for posting |
@ OP, I strongly disagree with you, she is neither the first woman to bag a Ph.D nor the first to become a professor in Nigeria, she is just the first to become a Professor of mathematics in University of Ibadan. |
If need be, I can help anyone interested to process the supplementary form. |
olasquare727:When the form is out, you'll be duly informed. Visit http://www.futo.edu.ng regularly for valuable information. |

Pls to all those following this thread, don't fall prey!!!. |
Some week ago I informed the general public that FUTO admission list is out on JAMB website, and that the University is working to update the admission status on their website. Well it has been updated and candidates are advised to follow the below steps to confirm. (1) FUTO UTME MERIT LIST has been released, and text messages have been sent to successful candidates via their phone numbers. (2) However, all candidates can visit FUTO website to check their admission status as follows: (i) Go to http://utme.futo.edu.ng/ student/MyResult.aspx (ii) Enter your UTME (Jamb) Reg. No as it appeared on your previously printed photo card. Successful candidates (those who received the message: "You have been admitted" after entering their UTME numbers) could proceed to designated banks to pay Acceptance Fee of N40, 000 and obtain E-Tranzact receipt, after which they would come back to FUTO website and follow the below procedure: (i) Go to http://utme.futo.edu.ng/ student/MyResult.aspx (ii) Enter your UTME (Jamb) Reg.No as it appeared on your previously printed photo card. (iii) Click “Next” button N.B: If you have been admitted, kindly continue with the below procedure (iii) Click on the "Continue to Payment" link (iv) Enter your E-Tranzact Confirmation order and Receipt number (v) Click "Submit" . (vi) Print out your "Acceptance Form" and "Admission Letter" (vii) Keep your "Acceptance Form" and "Admission Letter" until you receive further instructions from FUTO website on the commencement of registration exercise for newly admitted students. Note, in particular, that you would not receive any further attention from the departments and the Admission unit, until further instructions are given on FUTO website, announcing the commencement of registration exercise for the newly admitted students. kinibd: To the best of my knowledge, FUTO offers a course called Crop Science Technology (CST), does that mean a graduate from that department will be awarded a B.Technology in CST??Yes, it's Crop Science and Technology, and the award is B.Agric.Tech |
kinibd: Why read ANY 4 years course at ANY other University for 5 years in FUTO. one word, TRAUMAJust like every other universities of technology, FUTO offers a 5 year programme leading to the award of B.Tech not like others that award B.Sc. It's only when you enter the labour market or more precisely civil service that you will understand the relevance. |
ajahexcel: sure the list is outyes Bro!. |
It's with great joy that I brig this good news to the general public. FUTO admission list has been released. Currently efforts is been made to upload the list to the School Official website, as a result the website is down.
