Margin required for US30 on my funded account is $$33,000 for a lot of 0.46, margin level was 300%

$66,000 for a lot of 0.92, and with this my leftover margin level became 150% - what this level means is that I can no longer enter another 0.46 lot ...smh........It wasn't like this on challenge/verification; and yes, I got their email saying they would be reducing my leverage on the funded accnt.

Gold just started a bearish dump in H1 from 1930.1

Structure for this dump was created on August 22 in H1 timeframe.

I am waiting for a bearish M5 structure and will seek an imbalance to join, probably next week.

Anticipate a haul of at least 400 pips to 1887.6.

You'd have to be correct with your bias to get the 400 pips

If you enter at the wrong spot, you could end up with 100-150 pips and the move will reverse against you.

But the concept is a good one

I can see it working well for accts with no limit on how to trade it (weekend carry)

It is very safe because you can use stop entries above and below monthly highs and lows without getting killed because of the wide stop loss then later on, use market orders once the entry is validated.

Just breached my tft competition account even after making over 20%, I should have closed all my positions before the news after observing they weren't going my way.
Incurred over 5% daily loss and I am out now

If I didn't make 10% on TFT this month, I think I will just have to quit and jejely focus on my challenge account 😭.... This lots size was meant for my Tft competition account, I tot I was on TFT mt5 coz both were opened on my laptop, not knowing I opened the 3 lots size on my 10k account 😭. I couldn't risk waiting for it to turn positive so I closed immediately it went from -$30 to 0... Not knowing - $15 commission has been deducted. The highest loss on that account so far was just $7....This mistake really pain me gan.... This is the 2nd time this will be happen.... Make I focus on one b4 I go mistakenly chop dd by mistake one day.

Why did I step away from Forex trading since 2021?

Funded acc scaled to the next level by 50% after making 10% profit. The downside is I have to trade another 14days to be able to withdraw. Was hoping to withdraw again this weekend. Anyway more capital to make more profit by staying discipline and avoiding greed. Slow and steady. The goal is to stay consistent.

It's safer to set 400pips SL, for a 1:1 Risk to Reward of 1% account size, than expecting 1:10 with a SL of 20pips that is almost 100% certain it will hit SL.
