Nigerian mentality? in terms of what? For your information, i completed my first degree at METU. I have been in Turkey for a while.

Boss me sef, I had my first degree and second degree in reputable public universities in Türkiye. No reputable institution will accept HND for sure. Nigerians like following the easiest route to enter any country, that’s why they always fall victims of this non-recognized/reputable private universities that can be closed at any moment. You’ll often see Nigerians paying thousands of dollars to study in private universities in istanbul, I will personally not register in any private university in Turkey due to the political instability, and i believe that it’s not worth paying money to study in Türkiye because you can’t benefit from the turkish system. In 2016 more than 20 private universities were permanently closed. Last year, another one was closed. Aydin University is a trap to international students that’s for sure, they’ll give you admission as long as you deposit those thousands dollars they requested. Leave our Nigerians alone boss, they’ll argue with you based on what they saw on the internet or what their friends told them. You have the real experience, keep it to yourself and the people who are willing to learn.

Can I get a forklift operator work in Turkey

Forklift works are only done in huge companies where they only employ Turkish people with 300$ monthly salary. That’s not enough to pay your monthly bills.
I repeat, there are no jobs in Turkey. If you have savings that you want to spend you can to turkey. it not a place for hustling. I’ve being in the system. I know everything.

Greetings,

Turkey might not be a good place to move to in order to study. I had my undergraduate and master degree in Turkey (all in high ranked public universities). All my departments were in english though i speak turkish fluently. one thing I can tell you is that do not use all your savings and pay thousands of dollars to any private university that can be closed within a blink of eye. More than 15 private universities were closed in 2016 because of political instability. Istanbul sehir university was just officially closed by the authority. IF YOU ARE COMING FROM A FAMILY WHERE MONEY WILL BE REGULARLY SENT TO YOU, THEN COME TO TURKEY! YOU WILL ENJOY AS YOU ARE GETTING MONEY FROM HOME! And for those who are willing to come and hustle. you’re going to the wrong place. So many brothers are stucked in Turkey. No flight money, nothing. I’m just recommending you to apply for a better country like poland. I just moved to portugal recently though I still have the Turkish resident
permit.

Don’t be in a hurry or else you will regret!

-Know the course you want to study.
-Research about the country which you want to go for the master degree.
-After deciding the country, search about the universities that offer the course you want in the
country.
-After finding about the university, check what requirements they want for a successful application.
If you have all the requirements then apply.

[I have been here legally for six years, I like money but i cant travel here just to start selling belts and watches on the street (Africans are known to be hawking belts and watches here) I once worked in a factory, carrying heavy loads from 8pm till morning 8am and the pay is 50TL which is like 6 dollars not even up to 3000 thousand Nigerian naira. I get all my financial support from Nigeria. I also studied hard in school and took advantage of various students financial supports. Turkish citizens like european visa pass u wey dey naija. Recently, me and some turkish friends went to apply for schengen visa for a 6 months program in portugal. 6 hours before our interview naso all of dem go stand for embassy gate ooo, i was the only one with the weakest Nigerian passport but i no send european visa because i lived there and i know say no be everytin we dey glitter be gold. with all their busy body did you know that my visa was approved before all of dem? I got one year schengen with multiple entry and they got 6 months with single entry. dey even do party ooo because of the visa.] Thanks for being honest in your number 3 point. Anybody that says there are jobs in Turkey is a big liar. I have many friends there and they are say the same thing. While the guys are into fraud, the babes are the "pickers" of the proceeds of fraud, only few are into factory jobs which is not even enough to pay house rent and other bills.[/quote]

Hello,

I live and study in Turkey.
1. what category of visa are you looking for? study, tourist or business visa?
2. Depends on what you’re going to do there. A lot of Nigerians live and study in private universities in istanbul.
3. to be honest there no jobs here. So many Nigerians here are into internet fraud. Other Nigerians teach english and get maximum 300$ per month. You can’t live comfortably with that amount.

4. I buy emirates airlines usually 800$ for return ticket. Turkish airlines might cost around 600$ for only one way to istanbul.

Finall, desperation has always being the problem of Nigerians. You can’t just decide to move to a country without knowing what you’re going to do there. Know what you’re going to do there and apply for a visa.

Listen guys, Stay away from Turkey if your main aim is to hustle. Turkey is a good place to buy some goods and sell in Africa. The english teaching job most people are talking about is very difficult to find if you’re not a native speaker. If you don’t have American accent you’ll end up receiving 30TL per hour which is approximately 4 dollars. In a week you can only get maximum 10 hours of english teaching lesson. How the hell does someone pay 2700$ per year? make a good research about public universities bro.

Brother I’ve been in this Turkey for almost 6 years now. I did language school, finished my degree and now i’m doing my master degree. Truth be told there’s no job in Turkey unless if you’re into yahoo yahoo or drugs. bring lot of money from home buy goods and send them back home to sell. No skill can help you here, after all the minimum wage is 350$ per month. 10 hours a day 6 days a week. No job in Turkey.

How did you come up with that statement? Which other countries in Europe have you lived in? So Turkey is less racist than the UK? Smh [/quote
I have lived in poland for a year and half and the racism I experienced was horrible and violent. skin headed people attacked me religiously. I had to pack by bags and head back to turkey. I have never been to the U.K but i also have negative experience about racism in Belgium, france, germany. Poland, Hungary and czech are the worst for me.

For the past 6 yrs you lived illegally, did you encounter issues?

Did you date their girl's?

What's the locals reaction

Have they yelled at you the mall?

Don't just quote people, give us detail encounter of life as a Black Man in Turkey.

I never had any problems with the locals because they love black people so much. Black people in istanbul might slightly be disrespected by some few locals because most of the Africans there are menace to the society. however, if you live in other cities you won’t encounter problems. Currently I have a turkish girl and 3 turkish ex.

Have you been to Turkey? Have you been to Israel?

I’ve been to both countries and my experience is that they’re equally bad for Black people (Africans). Most of the Nigerians who seem to be successful in Turkey are internet fraudsters. Otherwise, there is great suffering and discrimination in Turkey.
The working conditions are basically modern day slavery. Some Nigerians can’t even leave Turkey or return to Nigeria because they overstayed their visas and would be arrested and fined if they’re caught.

They do the shittiest jobs and get treated very badly. They can’t even marry for document. Infact, you could be attacked for trying to date a Turkish girl. Yes, a lot of it stems from the bad impression Nigerians have made but most of it is just pure hate and racism. Even their police hate us more.

I’ve been trying to get my best friend out of Turkey for about a year now and we’re still on it. I warned him before he went there but he didn’t listen. Now he’s suffering so much and would do anything to return to Nigeria. I’ve visited him a few times.
I had even arranged to get veneers in Turkey because of the cheap medical service. Seeing how they treat Black people, I cancelled my appointment and vowed to never put my money in their economy.

That being said, it is the same in Israel. You saying you’d rather experience racism in Turkey than in US, I hope that was sarcasm. People in the US have rights and constitutional laws that can protect people of color from racial injustice. What rights do you have in Turkey as an African man? Even Turkish nationals are afraid of their government. You should read more.
I’ve been legally living in Turkey for 6 years, they have the lowest racism in Europe.
