Tessyy1701:WHY SOME STUDENTS DONT GRADUATE If you are among students who started NOUN in 2017. Its mandatory you register the newly introduced GST courses like GST204, to avoid delay in graduation. If its 1 course that is left for you to do and you decide to omit it, you would have to pay an extra 18000 naira compulsory extra semester fee just to register one course. That's how it works. So, learn from other students who have made such mistake. No waiver for core courses like GST. The opportunity is now. Some students who ought to have seen thier names in the last graduation list, did not see thier names and could not graduate with others, because of omitted hidden courses. Now, they have paid 18000 naira compulsory portal fee just to register 1 course. And would have to wait till next year again to graduate formally. they complain of not seeing their name on the graduation list whenever it comes out. That's why you hear some people accuse NOUN VC of not graduating students when they are due, some students even dump the programme totally and run to Lasu and university of Ibadan ODL. Therefore, run a check on your result every semester multiple times to be really sure. If you have forgotten when you started, check your matric number Nou15 is 2015, nou16 is 2016, Nou17 is 2017, nou18 is 2018 and so on. Backdated matric number is Nou14. Some programmes accept at least a pass in Mathematics. 2. For Postgraduate Diploma Programmes, Candidates must possess either a minimum of pass Bachelors Degree in any discipline from a University recognised by the Senate of the NOUN OR a Higher National Diploma with a minimum of Lower Credit. For the Postgraduate Diploma in Legislative Drafting, the candidate must have been called to the Bar. Also for admission into the school of Business and Human Resource Management Postgraduate Diploma programmes, 3. For Master degree programmes, candidates must possess either a Bachelors Degree with a minimum of second class lower in the relevant field of study from a University recongnised by the Senate of the NOUN. ATTENTION!!! Exam and Course registration have been extended to August 15th for Smooth registration. You may recall that there was a publication that registration to be extended to Aug 27. In a telephone conversation with the VC this evening he confirmed that they are aware of the difficulties faced by Students from registering on their courses and the said they are working on it to make sure everyone has access to registration and said the registration has been extended to AUGUST 15, 2019. Ayog25:No! ENT312 IS JUST LIKE A FIELD TRIP ENT210 and ENT312 ENT210 is a compulsory course for all Entrepreneurs titled Startup Funding. It is a 2units course. No exam needed. All you need to pass the course is a successful presentation at your centre and a detailed business plan. Write on any business you know about or the job you are doing presently for easy and articulated defence. You can do yours alone while In some centres you will be told to group yourselves. ENT312 is a compulsory course taken by all Entrepreneurship and business management students. It's a 2units course. The course registration fee is 10k while its exam is 1k. No exam required! You only need to visit an industrial company where they produce things with your study centre counselor or director and write a report on what you see there because the course is about research only (write everything about the company) then you wait till your centre announce the date for presentation to defend your report.
