ValeeLove: yes they did. Why didn't he ask Cody to avenge for them or anyone else who's faced Brock. Seems like a race joke. I just don't think it's funny. Asking Raheem to avenge them is an even worse joke |

ValeeLove: Ibou of Self Made Sessions (one of the press people at Hangman-MJF segment. Bodyslam reports it's not true, though they added no other context. I don't know who to believe. Maybe Brock will allow it. Meltzer and Ross Fap have more credibility than Ibou. That guy was disgraced for sharing rumors about Brit Baker cheating. |

So much for his undying loyalty to NJPW. Mariah May no do half this one yet AEW fans no let her rest. Why would Tony allow him talk about a partner promotion like this?

ValeeLove: what? Oh no. So it's an African thing now? Kofi should know better. That tweet is an eye sore. It's a joke based on fact he and Big E lost their titles to Brock. |

abduleez1: Wuthering Heights (2026).......8.5/10
The first half of this film gives you the usual preamble to a tragic love story. The forbidden love, the longing and pain in the eyes and suffering one has to endure being unable to express their love publicly all because of the barrier of societal class. A servant and a female aristocrat is obviously one of such forbidden liaison.
But, the second half of the film devolves into a tale of dangerous obsessive affection. It was grotesque, it was a sad watch to see the extent Heathcliff and Catherine would go for their crazy forbidden love. This is one of the darkest romance I've seen in recent times if not the One.
This story is a tale of a wicked love web that threatens to reshape all involved into malformed entities:
Catherine and Heathcliff, whose unspoken love and passion for each other grows till adulthood with the promise of never leaving each other. A forbidden love that promises certain destruction.
Edgar, who becomes enamored with Cathy and becomes her husband but feels the weight of being not enough for Cathy after the sudden appearance of her teenage love. A poster boy of unrequited love and insecurity.
Nelly, who was once best friends with Cathy as a child, saw her world crashing down when teenage Heathcliff comes along and steals the attention and love she enjoys from Cathy, her only friend. So now, silent disdain, jealousy and self pity fills that vacuum.
Isabella, a cheerful and naive girl who got drawn into a depraved love story between two crazies.
I've watched tragic romance movies before, but this has got to be the most gut wrenching I've ever watched, because everyone involved in this love story was left miserable beyond repair.
This is probably the best performance I've ever seen from Margot Robbie and Jacob "Heathcliff" Elordi just proved his mettle once more. The most convincing and menacing performance I've seen him ever deliver. Deserved of an Oscar nomination if you asked me. Top notch acting they all delivered.
Hong Chau (Nelly) really played the dutiful frenemy to a tee.... yanked between keeping Catherine from her destructive impulsive tendencies as a friend and confidant or whether to leave her to combust in the flames of love and its ensuing consequences.
This is probably one of those stories that has no in-betweens; it's either you love it or you hate it. I've not read the book, which is the source material for this, but, the first half of it gave you a glimpse of Emerald Fennel's style of sex crazed storytelling, but the second half slowly eased into a far darker tone of misery, jealousy, contempt, hopelessness, cruelty, self degradation and pure depravity of love, lust or passion— whichever you classify it.
These are themes I feel the film captured well about the book based on what readers of the book had said when the trailer dropped and when rumors came about how flatteringly sexed-up Emerald Fennell made the film into.
It is one of the most beautiful film I've ever seen. The colour, the visuals, it is a technical masterpiece. Linus Sandgren the Cinematographer for this pic ultimately COOKED with this. The production designer.....wow, what can I say. The music score is the most beautiful thing I've listened to this year...well, it was teased with that beautiful teaser trailer. They carved a world you could unashamedly get obsessively drunk on.
Well, it seems despite what people say about the director, Emerald Fennell can do no wrong in my eyes cos she knocked it out of the park with this one, for me.
Top shelf film, if you're willing to overlook the bias and accept that adaptations can't always be a like for like copy of the source material but an avenue to give a fresher interpretation of it while staying faithful to the themes. Na wetin u dey watch during Ramadan be this? |

pu7pl3: I've not watched NXT since. What has Joe Hendry done with the NXT title? How good is the new North American Champion Myles Bourne? He's been feuding with Ricky Saints who he beat last PLE. Ethan Page pinned Hendry in a tag match last week, so he's probably next in contention for the title. Myles Bourne is okay in the ring but character and promo hasn't levelled up. |
