It was more a sports entertainmen/play to the crowd match for Y2J. He didn't do badly, moved okay for a 50year plus dude.
My gripes was the endless kickouts and interfences.

I don't think we'll be seeing Darby's crowning moment yet. While he had momentum defeating Moxley, it dropped facing Gabe Kidd. Besides they most likely want MJF going into All In with the belt.

It was a crazy match that would leave both men sour the next day. I don't think Andrade was ready for the level of reckless abandon in that match. He suffered multiple head bumps on the floor due to Darby's dangerous style.
I cringed at a spot involving dropkick on the concrete staircase which left an abrasion on Darby's lower back. Tony needs to caution that guy else he might end up in a wheelchair.

We are privileged to witness greatness.

It was an okay match that never really got into second gear.Hayter is fine but not at her best right now.

Thekla's reign hasn't really taken off due to dearth of top challengers.
Unfortunately, the most popular women, Toni storm and Mercedes aren't around to feud with her.

Some people are arguing it was a called audible because Gabe Kidd got injured, but some think it not since the they was graphic already ready.

This match was just there. Partly due to following Ospreay match and the unfortunate injury.
No team has held Trios title for two months since January. Bouncing it around frequently loses credibility.

You never see the writing for wall especially with The Bucks winning their match. TLC match with all 3 teams presumably at All In.

Yup that's seems to be route they're headed.
After the piledriver on the stairs and 2 finishers, I was afraid we'd see unbeatable Ospreay yet again but Alas, after the 3rd finisher, there was no kickout only dead silence from the crowd.
I said earlier this was a good show but it wasn't for the fans in that arena.
Story seems to be Bruv isn't fully healed yet.

I liked the match despite the length but some fans were bummed about the finish. They felt a jumping tombstone to table/heatseeker was overkill. I don't mind since Omega couldn't kickout.
It didn't even need a table in the first place since it ain't DQ. AEW tends to do too much.

I liked the matches better than AEW Revolution PLE. However, it didn't feel like a show for the fans as mainly the heels won. Seems like a buildup to future PPV.
I'd rate it 8 over 10 with the low point being the Trios and women's matches. I'd blame the PPV length as 4 hours+ is too long in my opinion.

I noticed repeated interference by managers in the jericho vs Ricochet and Cope/Cage vs FTR. It seems AEW referees don't have the power to throw em out.

When they say Meltzer has influenced you. You go defensive about am. You think technique is by doing 50 moves and flips in a match? I'd even argue this fast paced, adrenaline style you love so much doesn't fare well for the wrestler's wellbeing in the long run.

Collar and elbow tie ups, chainwrestling and mat based offence are techniques. He still has suplexes, slams, springboard moves and suicide dives to spice it up .

You argue about telling a story in the ring but at the end of the day all you wanna see is flips.

bro, 20lbs is something, not to talk if 30 to 50lbs. This difference is important. When I see Cody wrestling with the big guys, I expect to see him trying to outsmart them, play on their weaknesses, make use of his speed, and use some techniques and moves in his arsenal to try to gain advantages then he can start going on the offensive. But what you see is him looking them in the face and starts wrestling them with equal strength - no smart moves, no special techniques, nothing - just a regular heavyweight against his fellow heavyweight and I think it's ridiculous.
Kurt Angle didn't doesn't just lift Show, he uses tactics to get an advantage to weaken him before going for a slam.

Cody, a guy with amateur wrestling experience and championships since highschool doesn't wrestle with technique?

You're talking as if Cody doesn't go through absurd punishment in his matches and fight underneath. It's not a back and forth power movefest bout.

Even Batista, a powerhouse wrestler wouldn't be able to hit the Powerbomb on Big show. He'd use the spinebuster and spear but not after going through punishment.
