eduj: where you quoted while valid, you and your folks should know that by claiming your region has the right to go for the 2023 presidency (ignoring the SE that hasn't produced a president from the south) you are also giving the north legitimacy to keep onto power.
you guys can't lay claim to a gentleman agreement to rotate power between the north and south (which you guys benefited from first before any other region) ,while breaking the same agreement within the southern regions.
knowing the greed and love of power in the SW,I see you guys keeping the south decided while the north wins the presidency come 2023 with an Igbo vp-after all half a bread is better than none Sorry, can you point out the gentleman agreement? Where is the gentleman agreement when he didn't do anything for us, answer me! Where is the gentleman agreement when he marginalize us? |

gensteejay: Can you post proofs from prof. Wole Soyinka's books or poems where he categorically stated he worships Ogun?
As far as I can tell, he's one of the foremost atheists and irreligionists in Nigeria and Africa. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irreligion_in_Africa
In his book, "Climate of Fear: The Quest for Dignity in a Dehumanized World", which was published in 2007, he said, "I already had certain agnostic tendencies—which would later develop into outright atheistic convictions— so it was not that I believed in any kind of divine protection."
In an interview with the Academy of Achievements in 2009, while answering a question about religion, he said: "I learned very early of traditional deities (of the) Yorùbá: Ogun, for instance, God of Iron, the Road, Poetry, et cetera; Shango, God of Lightning.
"I found the traditional religions far more fascinating, because they didn’t force me to go to the regular service and dress up and things like that. A bit more relaxed, more humanist in my view. But it didn’t mean that I didn’t like the other religions either. I was a member of the church choir quite early, because I liked music, and in any case, as a son of the headmaster who was also a deacon...
"I think both my parents tried too hard, so I rebelled quite early and found myself more attuned to a comparative approach to religions, comparative." https://achievement.org/achiever/wole-soyinka/#interview
He considers Ogun as his Muse (a source of inspiration and patron) but doesn't worship him as God.
Therefore, he's an atheist not an Ogun worshipper.
CC: Officialgarri Like say I get time to be posting proofs? I read it in one of his books, go and check it idanre or so |

Those anti-yoruba posters are not smart people and their posts are very easy to dismantle but they have really helped drive Yorubas consciousness and pride in our people who read them and I love it. I agree |

"South West Will Blame Tinubu, Akande, Fayemi If It Loses 2023 Presidency" - Afenifere Group
• It'll be unfair to leave the fate of Yoruba presidency in the hands of Tinubu, Akande and Fayemi alone, says YCE
• We need restructuring, not presidency – Okorounmu
[s] • Igbo should produce the next president, Aka Ikenga insists [/s] “Power involves networking and bridge-building. Southwest cannot carry gun to get it; it is a game of number. For us to get it, other zones must be willing to concede it without coercion. So, for power to return to Southwest in 2023, others must see the need. Tunubu, Akande and Fayemi are taking the right steps in the right direction. They are our leaders and they are of good standing. However, the concern of the ARG must not be ignored. Nobody is working against the interest of the South-West. The right thing will be done at the right time Key points. But guess you are talking about Nigeria. |

Those are the people who can edit, modify, adjust and introduce constitutional bills that will affect the masses... Yes, Lagos doesn't have much natural resources Buh can do without them. And your second point. What if SE and SW elect reasonable people into the HOA, but the SS and North elect non reasonable people or vice versa. What will happen? There won't be progress nah. |

Most of the past and present all SW states governors are just not creative to think out of the box.. I still believe regional government will get us out of this mess. And BTW, I think they ain't subscribing to "tap from Lagos" Like they prefer "each person for himself" |
