US is actually both Socialist and Capitalist.

But a developing country like Nigeria.
Should adopt capitalist first.

After a certain stage, socialist will take effect so that the side effect of capitalist will be easily controlled

Tinubu cannot be neutral at this critical time. The Southwest is his support base and he cannot afford to loose it. He only seems quite at the moment because the odds are not in his favor
Then, he don't have much fans in Ondo and Ekiti too.

I don’t see Akeredolu winning the general election. He has lost the support of the party so I don’t get how he will pull through during the general election. If he’s as strong as you’re making it appear, he won’t be scared of direct primary against 11 other candidates. I mean, why will an incumbent governor be scared of contesting an election where only members of his party will vote?

Before he became governor, APC won the presidential election and all senate seats in 2015. He became governor and the party lost the 2019 presidential election, two senate seats and several house of Reps and assembly seats.

Except APC find a way to conduct the primary without taking side with Akeredolu, the party will explode in the state. A forceful imposition of Akerdolu like they are trying to do will backfire. The party should conduct a direct primary and allow the most popular candidate to emerge. If not, majority of APC members will work against Akeredolu during the general election. He will get a dose of what he did last year.
I understood you tho

Same as Ekiti where his preferred candidate was dumped and Fayemi chosen.
That's why he is using his propaganda machine d nation newspaper to drop insinuations of crises in Ondo and Ekiti everytime.
You didn't understand him.
For now, Tinubu is neutral in Ondo.

None of them can beat eyitayo except Akeredolu.
Now that Ajayi Don move to PDP.
If tinubu supports Abraham and he emerge.
They should just kiss Ondo goodbye.

Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

I have this same question and all they were saying is that he started trade Moni and appointed onnoghen.

Is a pity that Osinbajo has failed and riddled himself in corruption of all kinds. A pastor for that matter.

Yoruba are the most daft and self-centered set of people in Nigeria. I just pity Edo people who would likely follow Yoruba in oduduwa Republic once Nigeria splits, they would never allow Edo people to have a say in their country, due to their envy and tribalistic intoxication. Yorubas brought evil to the South, now Fulanis from other countries can stroll into our farms and cut our mothers and fathers with their cutlass and walk like nothing happened, all because of Yoruba greed for power and envy for Igbos, they thought Jonathan was making Igbos prominent in power and it spelt doom for them since politics is the only thing that keeps them relevant in this Nigeria.
Are you Okay?
Don't we have freedom to vote and be voted for in Nigeria again?

Sammy, that's why we in ondo dislike Tinubu.

You will say Yoruba agenda, we will go out and vote, after the elections, Lagos has 20 key federal appointments, Ogun 15, Federal government is working every day in Lagos.

But in ondo, just 1 federal appointment, na even minister of state dem give us.

Our roads are abandoned.

Tinubu is ok because his Lagos boys are bringing returns
I'm from Ondo too, where in Ondo are you from?

I don't fancy him tho, but sometimes we should not allow those children of hate to ridicule our leaders here while leaving theirs.

What happened in 1966 won't repeat itself while other region leaders were killed theirs were left alone.

How many times have they petition EFCC to investigate Ojirs family or James ibori

Politics › Re: APC Disqualifies Segun Abraham, Tinubu’s Ally by Sammy07: 8:56am On Jul 11, 2020
fergie001:
I think with the events in Ondo for some years now, the support of Tinubu for any candidate spells doom for that candidate, at least publicly, that doesn't take away the fact that Abraham is a Tinubu loyalist.

In the SW...I can say for sure Ondo houses the biggest opposition to a Tinubu or political conformity, so if he wants someone he wouldn't make it public at least for now, but Aketi isn't one of them. He will never support Aketi unless it is a cul de sac.

I am an Aketi fan too but I am surprised at his politics. 4 years ago, it wàs operation stop Mimiko for trying to make Ondo Central another Kogi East.

With the opposition of Aketi on all sides, especially from his own Ondo North Zone......It might be Operation Stop Aketi.

I wish him well, though.
Can you tell me what happened in Kogi East?

But APC will do everything to retain Ondo.
They wouldn't wanna lose it like Oyo.

BabaRamota1980:
Ondo retrogrades everytime they opt for political difference. As far back 1956 and the days of original Afenifere and Agbekoya Ondo and Ibadan has been the hotbed of Yoruba politics. It eve goes back further into the days of Kiriji. Ondo is a rebel on the Yoruba political landscape. 1956, 1963, 1979, 1983, 1992, 2012, 2015. Ondo has never been PDP. AD won in 2012 but Mimiko decamped to PDP. In SW, it was the only non ACN state in 2012. It was also the only non APC state in 2015. In 2023 Ondo will rebel against APC but if they choose APC it will be a rebellion against Akeredolu. They like to do politics different in Ondo, they go against trend.
Ehn, Politics should be different tongue

BTW, you said if APC presents Akeredolu, He's gonna lose.

I don't think there is another candidate that apc will present Ajayi has left, Abraham disqualify, who else?

Well maybe Olusola sha.

And if they present Olusola he can't win against Jegede.

But with the trend of things, It's likely Akeredolu will win the primary election.

But the main election is unsure.
But APC will do everything to retain Ondo.
