UdechiHD: So because you were trounced in your Igbo didn't vote Abiola shit, you foolishly reported to Igbos voted Shagari. Hope you won't run when we present the 1979 votes. Igbos voted for Azikiwe’s NPP Imo, Anambra, Plateau and Borno going that way. The same way you voted for Awo’s UPN was same way we voted for Zik’s NPP. When they tell you guys to read you don't, you own is to swallow the Lagos-Ibadan expressway rumours they tell you.
Yes Shagari had an Igbo running mate, but it was in the present south-south that he got his votes, as a result he compensated them with the Senate President through Joseph Wayas. The NPP produced the speaker by virtue of Shagari’s magnanimity and political sagacity. So where was southern unity then Abi there was no southern unity then |

Justiceleague1: 1st,I am not Igbo and I stand by the truth. Everybody, the he igbos made mistakes in the past. Voting for Shagari against the great Awo,a fellow southerner, was a mistake,a blunder. But you cannot altogether blame them for not voting enmasse for Awo,for how could they have voted for, supported Awo,who not too long ago, showed the enemy the only way to destroy them in the civil war?!?!
How do you expect the igbos to accept Awo after all he did to them and their children during the civil war?! If you were in their shoes, you will do same.
That was past then, now everybody knows buhari and his evils but you do called Sophisticated people still went ahead, simply cos you have beef with the Igbos, you went ahead and brought him to power in this present era of civilisation that we are!!!!!!!!
You worked against a southern president in favour of a core NORTHENER,that's nothing but a great never before seen abomination and you will make sacrifices or else..
Everybody is feeling the buhari heat today and you people are not left out.
Eku biro ati iwe,o. Since you weren't from SE, why are you meddling into their affairs then? Yes, if I was in their shoes, I'll do the same. But everyone has move on, why haven't they?. About Buhari. Do you know that Akitiu won more votes in the west than the East? |

No yoruba presidency in 2023. Deal with it!
Lolz, we we were not in government since 1960, why is it that the federal government keeps developing our region instead of your regions? Yet you guys voted for them. Yes, Fulani will become president in 2023, does it stops the Fulani developing Yoruba land instead of the east? |

Justiceleague1: Were the igbos in power then? Were they occupying all vital federal government agencies and positions then? Were they living on other people's resources then? Were they parasiting others then?
Zik did that,he made that blunder with an open heart of honesty.
If he knew things would turn out the way they are now,he never would've been a party to one bloody naijiriya.
I don't need to be an Igbo person to know that,I'm SS and all this blame games will further set us southerners backwards.
If we channel all this energy we use to do roforofo on more important issues like fight for true federalism restructuring regionalism resource control or confederation, things will look up for sure Lolz. If it weren't for Zik we won't be in this position. If it weren't for Irosin, we wont be in this position If it weren't for the first coup, we wont be in this position. If it weren't for the votes u keep giving them, even after the war, we wont be in the position. So are you saying? Yet you keep blaming the North when. You were the ones that gave them the chance. Who should we blame if you guys ain't in power or government or appointments. Who voted for them? Mtcheww. |

If you had the power, every Igbo man will be dead today.
It's good you have the record of yoruba electoral failures according to political history. That your picture proves that Ibo votes are not inconsequential as you would like us to believe after voting the winner in recent elections.
What your picture tells us about yoruba presidency in 2023 is very clear, THERE WILL BE NO YORUBA PRESIDENCY IN 2023. It is either the East takes their rightful turn according to zoning princinple or power remains North.
You have campaigned against Ibo presidency for decades, we have now started our own campaign against yoruba presidency. You don't have a monopoly of hate and evil. Do your worst. Yeah, Fulanis are your friends. Stick with them.. We are your enemy, Okay? Deal with it. |

Rotentik19: Not exactly bro. Even the North wanted out at a point in the history of Nigeria. The Igbo were the only tribe sweating real hard to keep "the zoo" as one (as evident in the political activities of Zik). Zik even had disagreement with Awolowo & Ahmadu Bello over the unity of "the zoo" he labeled them "ethnic champions". Aguiyi Ironsi & Ojukwu fought Isaac adaka Boro & killed more than hundred of his soldiers just because he sought freedom from " the zoo". Not telling the truth, is great disservice to posterity. The Igbo surreptitiously, destroyed the foundation of what would have been a great nation (if all had cooperated). The Fulani are only taking advantage of the division in the south. Peace ! True, Fulanis are only taking advantage of the division |

DeeMain: Did you see the margin in each of the eastern states Tofa won? It was very close race considering that Abiola ran a Muslim-Muslim ticket and Tofa chose an Igbo man, Sylvester Ugoh, as running mate.
Many Igbos supported Abiola and wanted him to win. They gave him far above the 25% of votes he required in 3/4 of the states. Abiola won Anambra and had over 45% in most of the Igbo states.
With all the rumour back then surrounding Abiola and the bible...
That's solid support from the east bro. In fact without the Sylvester Ugoh influence, Abiola would have won everywhere in the east hands down. Sure, I understand you. But they shouldn't be crying that Yoruba supported Buhari, etc. When we all have him support, same as akitu, same as when GoodLuck was out of office That's hypocrisy. This was my comment to the guy that was saying support, support. Sammy07: Lols. It seems, I'll go with your definition. That means, every states supportted Buhari. Don't blame Yorubas alone.
Everyone supported atiku, don't take the glory to yourself alone
Everyone supported Jonathan, don't take the glory.
Everyone removed Jonathan from office, don't blame the Yorubas and North.

Rotentik19: Exactly ! More than any other tribe in Nigeria, the Ibos have suffered from Fulani brutality. Yet they love their oppressors more than their friends. Right from the days of Nnamdi Azikiwe up until now, the Igbo would rather die asslicking the fulani than cooperate with the rest of the south. Their mentality is that: if we cannot have everything to ourselves and have every other tribe under our feet, then let the Fulani continue to rule. Shameless lot ! Don't mind them. And they'll became shouting southern unity |
