Day 4(Tuesday) everything moving smoothly, Faced the full examination board for the oral interview, during this stage anything can happen, you could be asked questions based on your discipline or something abstract or if grace follows you, you can be asked to read a paragraph of the Nig air force rule book to the hearing of everyone, to ascertain you pronunciation ability. but if your village people follow you come Jos and they decide to bamboozle you from all sides God help you. so better make peace with your village people before coming. some applicants were asked just one question others it was up to five.

Day 3(Monday) so far so good, getting food is still a problem, wrote the examination yesterday and it was essay(why do you want to join the air force not more than 100words), also medicals and verification started Sunday to continue today, please make photocopies of all your documents before coming oh its a jungle out here. hold cash too oh.

I don't think d race will come up before medical. they would not want to put candidates lives on life wire.

Just go for the screening if ur name is there.

Try another cafe. I printed mine yesterday after visited about two cafe. meanwhile if u are in Lagos just go to d center, there is a cafe by d left before u enter base from pwd, that's where I printed it yesterday.

Go and do it in Cafe. Just visit the site and click on download consent form, then log-in to download.

No. A separate letter from a reputable person.

Abi...no stress in enugu center at all....they didnt even collect any photocopy from us...just the originals were screened together with the attestation of local government, letter of good conduct,

The officer in Lagos is inexperience. If Enugu and other States are uniform why would Lagos different. He made people go through a lot of problem those who suppose to be screen and live ASAP were sent out first to go and make copies and when they came back he then send them out again to go and bring attestation letters.

Funny enough they didn't ask us of parent attestation form at Enugu air force base...I even showed the officer mine n he gave it back to me....

Just imagine what the officer was sending people away for in Ikeja here and we were trying to tell him but turned deaf ears. I'm sure this is his first time of doing this screening exercise.

There is little development in Lagos which I need to know if applicable in other center.
Candidates are to submit photocopies of credentials, Attestation of LGA and Parents/Guidance form.

that's true but is there going to be a test the next weekend after the screening as is done in normal recruit or just the screening and wait for the next list.

for those who care to listen. follow their instructions and don't bother to be over sabi. some people will get there with what is not required and they wont hesitate to give it to u as deserved . don't go with any other thing than the originals they required. don't start buying files, pencils, rulers, pen etc at the gate as non of these will be needed but some people who want to make use of the situation to make money will be selling them by the gate deceiving you that they will be needed. I could remember one officer said last year that some graduates are not worthy to be call graduates as people that didn't attend school at all still extort them despite calling themselves graduate. All they want to see is your original credentials and they will also check your height. The states will be split into the days. They normally pass information d first day and attend to candidates from North.
after this zonal screening another list of the candidates that will go for normal military screening (I.e Medicals, 3.2km race, Aptitude test and face AFSB) will be released and Final list of successful candidates that will go for proper Air force officer training will also be release after. The final list will be group into two batches.
A lot of people would have been contributing but they don't want insults from those who always claim to know everything which they know not.

Hello guys. I believe we have those who have experience about Air Force DSSC. Please i think we should prepare ourselves for anything that will come up during screening. Screening date is 1-8 of July, for them to use a whole week I believe it entails a lot. We all know we have to get all documents signed, bring writing materials to the screening venue(that means there will be exams). Aside the above what again can we probably face during the screening process?
