Wuoche: These things doesn't qualify to be in Kisumu.
Lol is this not what malls in kisumu looks like. This basic looking thing is what you trying to hype. This should be called a plaza not a shopping mall.
rvp2018: They never get completed in your lifetime.
You sound pained. So what happened to lekki deep seaport or the numerous rails, airport, and roads. Learn to breath,Nigeria seems to be making you loose it so easily this days.
rvp2018: Outside Africa - being skinny is considered beautiful - while your fat arse is considered lazy bone coming to smooche their system. Nobody has the time to distinguish btw Ghana and Nigeria - they are same criminals.
Nobody considers this type of skinny beautiful. Don’t be stupid. All I see here is poverty and hunger. People begging to have access to so much as a drinking water.. this is a shame abd a disgrace. End this menace,it’s a crime against humanity
The Dangote Refinery is an oil refinery owned by Aliko Dangote that is under construction in Lekki, Nigeria. When completed, it is expected to have the capacity to process about 650,000 barrels per day of crude oil, making it the largest single-train refinery in the world. The investment is over 25 billion US dollars.
High complexity
The Dangote Oil Refinery will have a Nelson complexity index of 10.5 which means that it will be more complex than most refineries in the United States (average 9.5) or Europe (average 6.5).
(The Nelson complexity index basically increases with the number and capacity of chemical procedures after the distillation, e.g. hydrocracking, NHT, CCR, RFCC, polymerization etc.)
At full production, the facility will process about 650,000 barrels of crude oil daily, transported via pipelines from oil fields in the Niger Delta, where natural gas will also be sourced to supply the fertilizer factory and be used in electrical generation for the refinery complex.
This corresponds with 50,000,000 litres (13,000,000 US gal) of Euro-V quality gasoline and 17,000,000 litres (4,500,000 US gal) of diesel daily, as well as aviation fuel and plastic products.
With a greater capacity than the total output of Nigeria's existing refining infrastructure, the Dangote Refinery will be able to meet the country's entire domestic fuel demand, as well as export refined oil and petroleum products.
Dangote Refinery will cut Ghana’s fuel imports and reduce pump price, says NPA Ghana Chief Executive
- The completion of the refinery is expected to have a huge impact on Ghana’s downstream sector, which is currently deregulated.
- Ghana is presently facing the challenge of a continuous rise in the price of petroleum products due to high importation costs and a deregulated downstream industry.
The West African nation, which has been a net exporter of crude oil since 2010, is highly vulnerable to oil price shocks because it imports a significant share of petroleum products consumed in the country, mainly from Europe (Rotterdam). As a result, their economy is subject to volatility in international markets for crude and petroleum products, as seen recently with the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Things are, however, expected to change as the Chief Executive Officer of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) of Ghana, Mustapha Abdul-Hamid, believes the coming onstream of the Dangote Petroleum Refinery is expected to transform the Ghanaian downstream sector.
According to him, the coming onstream of the 650,000 barrels-per-day (bpd) Nigerian refinery will transform the Ghanaian downstream sector through the reduction in the cost of importation of petroleum products into Ghana.
Speaking at the 16th Oil Trading and Logistics Expo in Lagos, Abdul-Hamid said the completion of the Dangote Petroleum Refinery project would be a breakthrough for the West African region, which has for a long time depended on the importation of petroleum products.
“Right now, Ghana’s downstream industry is completely deregulated, and there is no petrol subsidy in Ghana. For a deregulated market where the importers recover their costs fully, importing from Nigeria will certainly be more cost-effective and cheaper than importing from Rotterdam in the Netherlands, where we get the bulk of our fuel in Ghana,” he said.
“As we all know, the price builds up for a litre of fuel will include the cost of shipment, transportation, insurance, and others, but if we are importing from Nigeria into Ghana, this will bring down the cost of fuel in our country,” he added.....
rvp2018: We don't have any indians in Kenya. There are in Nigeria running industries including all dangotes ones.We have 5th generation Kenya Asians..a tribe in Kenya. One of them owns you largest steel/aluminium mill.. Towers Aluminum. Kenya-Indians are in 5th generation, speak Swahili, are in parliament and have little connection with India. Now Nigeria has million indian indian from India...they keep moving in thousands to come weld and name it dangotes n their own factories
Any time,d1ck and Harry on planet earth knows Nigeria is not under the strong colonial grip of any other races. This things should be a surprise to you. We run our country, they don’t run us. Heckle all you want, you will come back here to face that harsh reality and bitter truth.
rvp2018: We walked ourselves to IMF - you're going via ambulance - and they are refusing admission. Big difference. We visit hospital once in a while - quick check on our vitals - the nurse - says go home. Ghana, your lying-in casualty half-dead and they won't admit you - until you pay in dollars serious deposit.
Same sh1t different smell. That’s all I see here. Splitting hairs doesn’t make your zoo any better . It’s only a matter of time until it’s caught up with you.
rvp2018: we support drought victims. I cut my teeth in such programmes. Do the same for annual flooding. They dont deserve our sneers -
There is no such thing as annual flooding in Nigeria,Atleast not at this scale. Since 2007,this is the first time we are experiencing such.
No,you should support drought victims by deploying advanced technology to proffer a lasting solution to this victims abd put a stop to this menace. Such form of neglect UON is a crime against humanity(humans have been relegated to looking like a living corpses from the Egyptian mummies). Let your govt have some pity Atleast.
rvp2018: Only because Uhuru the drunkard messed up - with Nigeria type fuel subsidy. Kenyans dont mind paying for anything for any prices as long as it available.
This week I welcomed some Zimbabwe guy - to europe - from Nairobi - he swear he never saw people who have money like kenyans - and you cant explain what they do. Kenya has 200,000 kids in international schools - higher than any in Africa including south africa.
Kenyans party monday to monday and Nigerian come & cant only afford one room of 100 dollars for 10 men - they sleep in turn -
Wealth is never associated with the name Kenya,go ask around. Famine, drought, aid, poverty, slum, safari, running are the things associated with Kenya. Don’t flatter yourself kid.
obaaderemi: Can you see how foolish you are? Rwanda has 14m and a budget of $4b, 20% of which is foreign aid. Is that the kind of country to be taken seriously? Anyway, what did I expect from a little Indian?
Meanwhile, Lagos is a state in Nigeria with a lot of federal government investment apart from its own budget! Out of Nigeria's federal budget, a sizeable chunk goes to Lagos. So Lagos doing an extra $4bn on its own is something.
Wo, go and face the Ghanaian flogging your ass and leave Lagos matter alone.
He is all over the place. He seems to have really lost it this time. Heck I doubt the nuts will fit in this time.
rvp2018: I love you mum - and i could be your father or his age mate - I want the best for her - nigeria gov to move there - and help her. Her lifetime investment should not be completely written off. You're already a write off in Lagos working for the useless governor to lie to suffering and smilling Nigeirans.
Say something else pained, and stop getting personal. You know absolutely nothing about me. Face your desperation elsewhere,as I continue to drill you with Kenya’s harsh reality. Your outbursts are a delight to watch - heck I could watch you all day.
Anyways I also want the best for Kenyans and that’s why I am calling the evil of your govt. they’ve relegated 18m Kenyans to hot dying starvation for forty years and here you are worried about a few people displaced by flood. A natural disaster that started about 2months ago or even less. Something must be wrong with your dirty head, look In the mirror oga. I will not give you that opportunity to gloat whilst your houses is caught up in a deeper flame than mine.
rvp2018: I'd love to see you mother canoe in anambra state as she tries to pick her floating cooking pans. You have already lost 600 people. Focus on flooding in nigeria before you see drought in horn africa...too much water is as bad as lack of water.
Lol you must be deeply pained, for you to have involved my mum unprovoked. I must have really struck your nerve within your own reality. It’s so delightful to watch man.
Anyway I don’t live in anambra and I ain’t affected by no flood. Say something else pained soul.
18m Kenyans are starving to death,do something about it abd stop disgracing africa with your dirty begging bowl.
rvp2018: Focus Ghana 120% inflation. Where did you get this 18 million kenyans. 18 million people across horn of Africa - that mean Kenya, Somalia, Ethiopia, etc Are facing a serious drought. There is nothing one can do about such a NATURAL disaster...if rain fails for 5yrs...what will Ghana do? - in first year half the country will run to Nigeria - in the 2nd year - the whole country will empty out
Ghana is facing a human disaster called NANA THE BIG FOOL who sunk Ghana economy.
The people facing worst drought in 40yrs in horn of africa - deserve all the help they can get. Just as well as those getting swept by floods in Nigeria. Or Hurricanes. or Tsunamis. Or Earthquakes. THESE ARE NATURAL DISASTERS THAT SWEEP PEOPLE INVESTMENT completely.
How do you compare yourselves with people facing natural disasters?
otherwise many areas of kenya that are not affected by drought are doing fine.
My folks are exporting 20 percent more tea this year.
This is were we get the 18m from. For forty years you’ve folded your arms and done absolutely nothing about it. What happened to advanced technology, irrigation, dams and the likes. You have no excuse, you are a failure. Your govt failed you and that shouldn’t be excused. Say something else.
Answer your world leading inflation questions without bring in folks in horn of Africa dealing with worse drought in 40yrs - those people deserve all the help they can get - just like those in Nigeria being carried away by floods.
One failed rain season in Ghana saw all of you run to Nigeria
These folks have faced 5yrs of very low rainfall - sometimes it has gone for months - without a single drop.
18m starving Kenyans also deserve all the help they can get.
Shma2022: Leave that one. His IQ is below recognition.
I have a question, my guy. I'm stuck somewhere.
*Research project* *Diagnostic test*
Tell me When to use homoscedasticity? Is it applicable with primary data?
I'm working on research and a certain professor is just disturbing.
A detailed explanation will help.
Lol
rvp2018: I am more CS guy than Stats guy; you need someone who knows ANOVA/MANOVA/Regression/Random numbers; Most of the stats I know I was taught on the job by Oxford dude as we were build lots of data analysis - and that was last in 2012.
obaaderemi: You are right. Next time he brings his nonsensical talk about banking, I'll just fling this chart at his ugly pokot face. No long talk again.
Same thing with economy. Whenever he try’s so hard to debunk the obvious just hop abd the net and fetch those links that says Nigeria is the largest economy in Africa, don’t make the mistake of trying to join him in ironing things out for the sake of diplomacy and clarity. Just stone him the fact and leave him hanging. I mean you are not in the business of arguing economy with him,Atleast not when his economy is worth less than a common $150bn. He should just know his place and stick to it abeg.
rvp2018: Ruto is first serious president in Kenya history - and the journey to transform kenya just began.
Amongst the first business will be building of 800 dams & planting 5 billion trees to deal with incessant drought, increasing saving & pensions by almost 5 times, ensuring everyone in kenya has primary health insurances, increase gov revenue by 30% to 30B dollars, reducing borrowing to bare minimum & balancing the budget, turning Kibera slum into Kenya biggest real estate with total of 2 million houses to be built in five years all over kenya, transforming agriculture by investing in input subsidies and allowing GMOs, expanding trade by opening up to EAC & africa free trade area.
Story for the gods ,let him get to work. This thread do t support failed politicians promises abd wild hope. We discuss reality not aspiring future.
Lol this is funny. I am not surprised tho,the zoo has 18m the inhabitants jostling for grain every single day,and gets even more scarier know that this numbers rise every with little or no support from their govt, save for fostering global communities to donate a few grain into their begging plastic bowl.
Yeah honestly. I don’t know why you guys are giving audience to argue about certain most espy when it’s factual . Until I see kenyan banks on this list,I have no business discussing matters of banking abd finance with any Kenya here. It’s a futile endeavor. They should just know their place and stick to it.
rvp2018: Leading indicators we already beat Nigeria. Where you see problems - we see opportunities. That is why DRC and Ethiopia are game changes. We turn barren kenya into opportunities. We have a proven model.
I am not about to seat here and argue about nonexistent dreams. Make it happen first then I will give you the stage to brag else you are just a heckling chicken looking for attention and relevance amongst the wild animals.
