rvp20182: The people who ranked Nairobi high are mostly Europeans expats. Yes Nairobi has a long way to go - but compared to west africa - mmmh.
You must be talking about west Africa like mail,Togo and the likes, because Lagos is definitely up there. All this noise cannot change that obvious hardcore fact.
As for Nairobi,it’s woukd be madness to really think Nairobi is the 100th best city in the world talk more of 12th. Like 12thhhhhh, do you even know what 12th is? Oga just shut the fvck up,somethings on the net just needs to be taken with a pinch of salt.
rvp20182: The housing boom about to commence in Nairobi is unprecedented. Ruto has committed to build 250,000 units annually - you can bet most will be in Nairobi. That in 5yrs will be 1 million units. THAT IS HUGE. Uhuru the drunkard was unable to pull it off. Ruto will do it.
Nothing will happen as usual. Every one know Titi is a dirty thief. Be prayful, you voted a demon abd he is about to reign his fury on you idiot.
rvp20182: I agree on Shell & Total doing Nigeria oil. Kenya is willing and ready to support you. Otherwise French Dev Bank has been our greatest partner. We have no problem at all with French people.
rvp20182: Nairobi best city in Africa, 12th globally - Business Dailyhttps://www.businessdailyafrica.com › Home › Economy 1 Dec 2021 — Expatriates have ranked Kenya's capital Nairobi the best city to work in on the continent, jumping 50 places from last year, due to ease of ...
Nairobi is a slum that needs serious upgrade and has a lot of infrastructural deficits. There is no way in hell you will tell you believe such scrap is the best city in the world. Best in what exactly? In Europe a city like Nairobi would be the dreg of the continent, same would be said in northern and southern America. Let’s not even get to Asia, those ones are miles ahead.
Oga wake up and stop leaving in denial, you are so fake, even to your own self.
21 of this just arrived Lagos yesterday get to this level and whilst at it pray for construction in Kenya.Kenya as it is is very docile and dormant(save for the completion of that hideous 88 Nairobi). The inflation is hitting harder than I thought.unlike Lagos that surprisingly continues to see a rising in the vertical residential construction (commercial spaces not doing well at the moment) and hospitality . One of these days I will be posting some of the newest kids coming into the block abd this is different from the ones I posted I think 3 months back.
rvp20182: How is France to blame for Nigeria problems. Granted Niger is mentioned. But Nigeria? Learn to own up your own mess and elect better leadership to fix your country. You elect a primary school dropout like Buhari - expect to remain backward for a long time.
France may be evil to their former colonies - but in Kenya they are one biggest development partners we got.
You are a fool, and f the French is controlling certain colonies then the Brit you idolize is equally doing thesame, heck I already have you a video on that, remember the one you swore not to watch so you forever live in that fake reality.
France may not have direct impact on Nigeria and Kenya because they didn’t colonize us but they are still part of the schemers and don’t mean well for Africa. Wake up from that denial idiot.
rvp20182: A park in middle of slum versus a park in middle of skyscrappers. Nigeria is one huge park. A zoo.
You must be very stupid to think you can talk down here n Lagos. Lagos is one of Africa’s top city whether or not you like it. If you mention africa without Lagos then sadly you haven’t started yet,you are basically beating around the bush.
[quote author=GeneralDae post=117086770]I don't know who have seen this. The whole truth about France and their mission in Africa as shared by the new far right Italian prime minister.
should go to that mumu rvp that lives in denial thinking Europeans mean good for Africa and are bring in investment to see Africa flourish and one day get to their level. Every single action they take is to make africa remain where it is if not worse.it’s very strategic and it’s doesn’t involve africa being better. Until we address the elephant in the room we as africa will still remain in this level come 100 years.
rvp2018: We are talking green spaces within the city... Nairobi was named the 14th most ecological friendly nation because of such green spaces..Accra has the dubious distinction of being the dirtiest city for many years running
No one cares, you have a lot of untapped forest lying around that backwater,it’s not something to be proud of.
obaaderemi: This doesn't call for any long debate. Like generaldae said, you are new here. AT the beginning of these threads(there was another one) I was also nearly deceived into believing Kenya was ahead of Nigeria. But these threads have opened my eyes to the facts that in spite of Nigeria's many problems, we are far better than many others. Kenya is worse than Nigeria in many aspects. Don't forget that the Kenyan society has to grapple with problems for 50 million citizens while Nigeria has to grapple with problems for about 200million very diverse populace. Where's the comparison to even start with? Yet Kenya is struggling against Nigeria here.
We've done comparisons on so many facts here, from hdi to meat and fish comparison, to number of doctors to 1000 citizens, to road network, to banking, to education, to foreign Remmitances, personal computers to 1000 people, to number of vehicles to 1000 citizens, etc. Even slums. Kenya is not doing well and in most cases is worse.
But I know people like you who feed fat on digging out Nigeria's bad side and never seeing anything good in Nigeria. We used to have a couple of your type here, one suffering and smiling guy and one obikeno-something liar of a guy. They kind of fizzled out.
I am already talking too much. You posted a picture of some children under a tree studying, you didn't see the pictures of those in proper classes in government schools across Nigeria. Kontinue. Like I said, we know your type.
Meanwhile, the attached pictures are from Kenya. Show me such deprivations in Nigeria and I'll let you be.
You shouldn’t dignify people like that with a comment. It’s obvious when life throws a blow at them they begin to lash out at the govt. all that angst is understandable. We seen every other country national do worse to their individual countries here so I couldn’t be bother. He will be fine,he is just dealing with life at the moment
rvp20182: Nairobi is one greenest city - with half are green space 1) Nairobi National park -Animal park - with many zoos inside it 2) Uhuru park-central park - Jivanjee - all the way to westlands - are green spaces. 3) Karura forest 4) Ngong forest 5) Langata botanical garden 6) Langata Uhuru gardens. 7) Aborterum Park City Park 10) Jamhuri park ...and many small other ones.
Try to compete with Nigerian slumcities...you have the same architect and city planners.

What you have is a fertile forest with zero infrastructure and it’s a smack in the middle of your slumpolis. Never compare with New York that is bereft of animal poop but instead has everything luxury lying around ,from restaurants to bars, museums, clubhouses and the like’s
rvp20182: Dont compare a park in middle of a slum - with Nairobi central/uhuru park that is comparable to likes of Central Park Neywork - Smack right at CBD.

Lol this video made it to Nigerian blog earlier last week, we all thought they were Nigerian deeper life women, glad to see it from the east coast of kikuyu land.
68816419: Maze ,KQ has the worst flying experiences ever. trust me , %98 of folks who Boarded this Coffin rated it extremely bad
Lol I am on the grounds after reading this review. Everything he singled out in arik air is exactly what that national flying coffin is facing. Atleast arik air was 6 years ago his was just last month abd to think that not only is the stinking levitating coffin horrible to board ,it’s also a loss making venture for decade.
68816419: I challenge you to read KQ reviews; I have yet to meet someone who has flown on this shite's aircraft and wants to do so again. KQ is arguably the worst airline in Africa, and pride is the only thing keeping the sector from collapsing no wonder they tagged it " the pride of Africa " . Imagine a sector of the economy that hasn't generated any revenue since 2012, yet it continues to operate. What might we name such nonsense? No be juju b that?
At this point the idiot rvp needs to bury his skull in the oceans. Wtf!!!
rvp20182: Nigerians and Ghanian leave Airline business ALONE - you cant hack it. It takes lots of discipline. Ethiopians are incredibly disciplined people.
Look what hell is this
Reviewed January 4, 2017 via mobile The worst airline I have ever flown Our flight was supposed to leave at 9am, as such we woke up early to catch the flight and arrived and checked in at the airport 2 hours prior to takeoff. The flight left at 5pm!!!!!
That's right 8 hours delay for a 1 hour flight. Every time we asked their staff regardless of what time it was we were told 30 minutes till boarding, as such We were refused a refund for the whole 8 hours as I had tried to transfer to another flight in the hopes of salvaging the day.
Every other airline that day left at the scheduled time so this was not an airport issue, I know this as I had over 8 hours to watch them board and leave.
We were given 0 compensation for being held hostage by the airline for the whole day, not even an apology.
When we finally boarded their flight the business class (which was almost twice the price of economy) was exactly the same as the economy, absolutely 0 difference you are merely sitting at the front few rows and they have no business class lounge. A complete scam. If there was a watchdog service in Nigeria I have no doubt they would be shut down for fraud amongst other things.
We could have driven the route in a car in the time we waited, needless to say all my business meetings were missed and the day wasted.
I cannot stress enough how much you should avoid this airline completely.

A review from 2016 on TripAdvisor from arik air is not a standard of judgment.i mean it’s been what? 6 years!!!. You that can hack it has been on a steady loss for the past decade. All that discipline seems to be rubbing off that cash away. Try something else taahira, you are making a fool of yourself at this point.
